- Turnover in Finland totalled some EUR 82 billion in 2020. Growth from the previous year was about one percent for the full year. - The monetary value of new orders reported between January-March 2021 was 29% lower than in the preceding quarter, but 5% higher than in the corresponding period in 2020. - At the end of March, the value of order books was 4% lower than at the end of December, but 5% higher than in March 2020. - The turnover of the technology industry in Finland is estimated to be higher in the summer 2021 than at the same time a year ago. - The number of employees in Finland at the end of March 2021 was slightly less than an average in 2020, but increased compared to December 2020. The number of employees was about 309,600, which is 1,400 less than an average in 2020. - Recruitment of new staff was on the rise again in January-March. There were a total of 9,500 recruitments, compared to just over 28,000 in 2020.
