In 1998 EEA published Guidelines for the implementation of the EUROWATERNET monitoring network for inland waters. In every Member Country a monitoring network should be designed according to these Guidelines and put into operation. Together these national networks will form the EUROWATERNET monitoring network that will provide information on the quantity and quality of European inland waters. In the future they will be developed to meet the requirements of the EU Water Framework Directive. This publication presents the Finnish EUROWATERNET monitoring network put into operation from the first of January, 2000. It includes a total of 195 river sites, 253 lake sites and 74 hydrological baseline sites. Groundwater monitoring network will be developed later. In addition, information about Finnish water resources and current monitoring strategies is given. In accordance with Article 4 of Regulation 473/13, the General Government Fiscal Plan is based on independent macroeconomic and fiscal forecasts produced by the Economics Department of the Ministry of Finance. Specific information relating to the Stability Programme is presented in Appendix 5. The General Government Fiscal Plan 2020–2023 does not contain new policy lines; it is based on current legislation and it takes into account the impacts of decisions made by Prime Minister Sipilä’s Government on expenditure and revenue levels in the coming years. The Government has today, following preparatory consideration of the matter in the Ministerial Finance Committee and pursuant to section 2 of the Decree on the General Government Fiscal Plan (120/2014), section 1 of the Budget Decree (1243/1992) and the Government’s decision issued on 24 April 2003 on the principles of formulating central government spending limits proposals, budget proposals and operating and financial plans, issued the following General Government Fiscal Plan and the central government spending limits decision included within it as well as a limit for local government expenditure set by central government measures: 1. SIR: I have the honor to submit the Ninety-eighth Annual Report of the Director of the Mint, since the Mint became a Bureau within the Department of the Treasury in 1873. Annual reports of Mint activities have been made to the Secretary of the Treasury since 1835, pursuant to the act of March 3, 1835 (4 Stat. 774). Annual reports of the Mint have been made since it was established in 1792. This report is submitted in compliance with Section 345 of the Revised Statutes of the United States, 2d Edition (1878), 31 U.S.C. 253. It includes a review of the operations of the mints, assay offices, and the bullion depositories for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1970. Also contained in this edition are reports for the calendar year 1969 on U.S. gold, silver, and coinage metal production and the world's monetary stocks of gold, silver, and coins.
