Small’s Paradise (135th St. & 7th Ave.) Malcolm worked as a waiter at this nightclub MOUNT MORRIS in Harlem, where he learned about Harlem’s HISTORICAL criminal underworld. MORNINGSIDE DISCTRICT HEIGHTS Hotel Theresa (125th & 7th Ave.) After Malcolm X left the , this establishment served as the headquarters EAST for the Organization of Afro-American Unity. HARLEM Twenty Two West (22 W. 135th St.) Malcolm is said to have frequented this restaurant. In fact, this is where began meeting with Malcolm to gather anecdotes for his book, The Autobiography SPANISH of Malcolm X.
