Dhahran — In alignment with the company directives to promote nonmetallics in the building and construction sector, the Consulting Services Department (CSD) and the Transportation and Equipment Ser- vices Department (T&ESD) piloted glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) traffic signs and signal poles within Aramco’s facilities.

GFRP is pro- duced indirectly through crude oil, and as such, promotes the use of crude oil derivatives in supporting the Kingdom’s economy.
