The NORES/MLS system will have some minor changes occur later this month with a few new fields and criteria choices, as outlined below. The additions/modifications will directly affect any current listings needing to be modified in the future, as well as ALL new listings. Rather than modify the Property Data Form and Status Change Form, we have created an Addendum outlining all of the changes. Please use the addendum with the Property Data Form/Status Change Form for accurate entry of information into the NORES/MLS system.

What you need to know:

Safety Shelter We will be removing “Storm Cellar” from Exterior features and “Storm/Safe” from Additional Rooms 1 & 2. These will now have their own pick list of choices. If your listing was marked with these choices, please modify the listing to reflect correct data in the new field.

Heating System Geothermal / Heat pump is currently listed as one choice; since this is two different types of Heating Systems, these will be broken down into two choices. All current listings with Geothermal/Heat pump selected will be modified by the programmers to the choice of “Other.” Please modify your listing to the appropriate choice after the system changes have been made.

Sales Concessions Sales Concessions is a required field when modifying a listing to Closed. Sales Concession Comments is conditionally required if Sales Concessions = Y (You must enter what the concessions were in this box.)
