Buyers Guarantee All catalog horses sell sound, by the definition stated below, with a 72-hour guarantee unless otherwise stated by the seller. § Definition of Soundness Sound, by the definition of Bowie Livestock Sale Barn means: • Moving free of a limp or abnormality of gait on all four legs as viewed by external examination. • Can see out of both eyes. • Does not crib (suck wind), does not weave, and is not proud cut. Should a soundness issue be noticed within 72 hours of purchase the buyer is to contact Bowie Livestock immediately, you will be asked to send in pictures, a video, and documentation from your Veterinarian. The horse purchased is to be brought to a licensed Veterinarian for an exam. The final decision is to be made by the horse sale manager and all decisions are final. § Purchase Agreement Buyer is responsible for inspecting their horse for any undisclosed imperfections before leaving the premises. If an issue is noticed the buyer is responsible for bringing it to the attention of the horse sale manager. All horses sold through the catalog are subject to the 72-hour catalog guarantee unless otherwise stated by the seller as disclosed in the statement at the top. All horses purchased through non-catalog sale are sold as-is with no exceptions, unless announced in the auction ring to the auctioneer. All guarantees for non-catalog horses are strictly between the buyer and the seller. Buyers who will be traveling out of state with any horses purchased through the sale must obtain an Equine Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (Health Certificate) before crossing state lines. Texas Animal Health Commission § Equine Requirements 1. Accepted Official Equine Infectious Anemia Tests (Coggins) 2. Interstate (Equine moved into the state from other states) 1. Any livestock, poultry or ratites that are infected, exposed or quarantined in any manner for an infectious, contagious or communicable disease may not enter the state. All equine, bovine, porcine, caprine, ovine, or cervidae from a vesicular stomatitis affected state must have a certificate of veterinary inspection issued within 14 days of the date of entry into Texas. 4. Entry Requirements for Equine: 1. Certificate of veterinary inspection within 30 days prior to entry. 2. Proof of a negative EIA test within the previous 12 months prior to entry. This method of Classihcation failed to meet A with general acceptance, and numerous modifications were suggested, conse- quently the Council reappointed the Committee, in 1909, to further consider the matter, with the result that the system of Classification now put forward by the authority' of the Royal Horti- cultural Society was arranged.
