01’30’’ Voice Over: World Series by Renault starts its tenth season at Motorland Aragon in this historic part of Spain for the fifth year.

02’02’’ Jingle Feature FR 3.5: Carlos Sainz Junior, the Spanish Ace

02’05‘’ Voice Over: The entire world of motorsport talks about him. His season opening in Monza was impressive: 2 pole positions and a win. Backed by the Red Bull Junior Team, he leads the Formula Renault 3.5 Series with reigning team Dams.

02’20’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ JUNIOR #1 (ESP – Dams) In ENGLISH “I remember waking up for every Melbourne race at 4 in the morning to watch . At my age - I was 5 years old - it was not very common. And I said: yeah, one day I would like to race there! I started really really young, like at 3 or 4 years old. The I had a bit of a shock in one moment, and my Mum, myself and my Dad did not like it because this accident was a bit nasty. But at the end, 4 years later, I could not resist to go karting again…”

02’58’’ Voice Over: He also must cope with a very famous name, as his dad is a double WRC champion and a Dakar winner.

03’08’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ JUNIOR #1 (ESP – Dams) In ENGLISH “You always feel a bit more pressure: instead of having only your dad’s eyes watching you, you have ten eyes more, you are the son of Carlos Sainz... But with the age I got used to it.”

4

03’23’’ (continues) “My motorsport references are, obviously my dad, but my ideal career would be Sebastian Vettel, because he went trough exactly the steps I would like to follow, with Red Bull. Then, as a driver, I really like Fernando Alonso.”

03’42’’ Voice Over: By the way, he develops his own style. After a struggling up and down 2013 season, he is now on a full charge to clinch the supreme World Series by Renault title.

03’51’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ SENIOR – Former WRC champion and Dakar winner. In ENGLISH “From last year to this year, Carlos has change a lot. He has matured a lot. I think he understands motorsport and life in a slightly different way. I saw him working in a way that I was sure he will get some rewards.”

04’12’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ JUNIOR #1 (ESP – Dams) “He gives me a lot of examples of which attitude a champion needs to have. He has been a champion and in every sport he knows what a champion needs to have inside.”

04’28’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ SENIOR – Former WRC champion and Dakar winner. In ENGLISH “I am not that much involved. He is in a very good team. You need to give him a lot of space. I am just behind, watching. If he needs me for an advice, I’am there…”

04’44’’ Interview Carlos SAINZ JUNIOR #1 (ESP – Dams) In ENGLISH “At the moment I am 19 years old, so for sure I nearly need to work in all areas. The only thing you cannot improve is talent. In terms of speed, I know and everyone knows that I can be very quick. Now I need to find the consistency in every meeting, in every free practice, every qualifying, every race. Obviously I rate the Fortec guys really high, I rate Gasly and Buller really high, I rate

5

Stevens, Jaafar and Sorensen really high, so I can expect everything. At the moment, if you start thinking of Formula One, you stop focusing on your main thing, which is Formula Renault 3.5 this year. So for the moment I am not thinking at all about this…”

PART 2 00’00’’ Jingle Feature: Da Costa from WSR to DTM

00’05” VOICE OVER After coming 3 rd overall in last season’s Formula Renault 3.5 championship – Antonio Felix Da Costa is getting accustomed to testing the new Formula One car, and his DTM car… as well as the Twizy F1!

00’21” ITW Antonio Felix DA COSTA (POR – Infiniti Red Bull Racing Test And Reserve Driver) IN ENGLISH

“It’s the first time Red bull have not promoted a Red Bull Junior driver to Formula One, but kept him – kept me – in the programme, so this keeps my motivation going and shows that they know that I’ve got something, so this is nice, but I think my best tool to make this happen is DTM – so that’s where I’ll be focused, have some good results there, and we’ll see what happens towards the end of the season. The driving style between Formula One and DTM is exactly the same – I didn’t have to change anything. It looks like the speed is there, we’ll see next weekend how we are doing. It’s still a car with four wheels and a steering wheel! I never have to clean my helmet, and I don’t get wet when it rains – so this is quite nice. Just to get in and out of the car is so hard!”

01’09’’ Do not talk

9

names – I was hyped so much last year, and then we didn’t win it so I don’t want to curse anyone. Let’s wait a few more races and see.”

08’45’’ ITW Winner Andrea PIZZITOLA In French

“It was a really difficult race – in the beginning, no problem, a good start and I tried to settle into a good rhythm immediately but my steering column became detached! I had to hold it up on the straights to stop it collapsing on my legs! In my head, I thought the race was over, impossible to keep my rhythm on. I just tried to drive clean because I had a small lead. I’ve told to myself: continue like that as long as you can. And I manage to hold on till the end of the race like that. I think I was lucky to make it to the end.”

PART 3

00’00’’ Jingle Feature: Chat Bingo

00’05’’ VOICE OVER The luck of the draw… Will Stevens pick out his own interview questions, and HAS to answer them – blue for “good” and pink for “bad”!

00’21” ITW Will Stevens #11 GBR – Strakka Racing IN ENGLISH “Any lucky charms or Rituals? – I always get in the car on the same side, I always put my gloves on last, which I’ll have on the right hand side in the cockpit. I keep it to the basics of what I know I can get the same every time. So that’s it – I always get in from the left, and gloves on last.”

00’42” (continues) “This is a bad one. It is a good one for me actually – “Are you a better golfer than a racing driver?” – I like to think I am as good at both, but I’m probably not quite as good at golf as I am at racing. I play off 10, and my favourite course is Wentworth, where I’m a member. We play there a lot, it is literally 20minutes from my house. So it’s very handy.”

01’08” (continues)

“Best career moment?” Winning the European Championship in Karting in 2007 was a massive highlight of my career. And now I’m with Caterham – that was a big step in the last year. Obviously now racing in World Series, just below Formula One, and that makes it easier to jump into it.”

01’30” (continues)

“Is it easier with girls as a racing driver?” Everyone in racing has a bad reputation, apparently! In terms of personal skills, and being able to talk to people, we have to be confident in front of the camera, which helps a lot. I don’t know! I’ve got a girlfriend at the moment so I have to be a good boy.

16

01’51” (continues) “I’ve got 2,800 followers on Twitter – Lewis Hamilton has 2 million. Can I get better than him?” He’s got probably the biggest profile in at the moment, so I’d like to hope someday I can rival him in Twitter terms. My twitter account is @willstevens_ so get following!

02’15” (continues)

“Describe the feeling on a flying lap” Sometimes, when you’re on a mega lap, it feels easy. The pole positions you get are the easy ones. When everything’s working, and you’re on that perfect lap, you finish and think “I could have gone so much faster.”

02’34” (continues)

“Something on track you’d like to apologise for?” Ha. Touch wood – we’ll touch the tree – I haven’t really had many bad situations on track. I always try and keep my nose clean, because consistency is massively important. In terms of rivalries, I’d have to go back to karting with someone called Scott Jenkins who we had a few tussles with, which ended in tears a few times. So Scott – if you’re watching – 2004 European qualifiers, I think, I’m sorry for the race!”

03’10” (continues)

“Worst career moment?” Probably my second race in car racing. Estoril, in the Portuguese Winter Series. The conditions were terrible, on the formation lap I was trying to get some heat into the rear tyres, so I lit the rears up and spun it on the formation lap! Probably my worst career moment, I did think “you probably shouldn’t tell anyone about that” but now I have so keep it quiet.

04’11’ #7 Pierre GASLY (FRA – Arden Motorsport) overtakes #5 Pietro FANTIN (BRA - International Draco Racing) into P3…

04’19” …then GASLY overtakes #11 Will STEVENS (GBR – Strakka Racing) for P2, but makes a mistake and drops back 2 places

04’27” #4 ROWLAND exits pits after mandatory tyre change – still leading by over 7sec, from STEVENS, SAINZ and GASLY

04’39” #8 William BULLER (GBR Arden Motorsport) battling with #15 Marlon STOCKINGER (CZE – Lotus) – heavy contact in Turn 6

04’46’’ #16 Matthieu VAXIVIERE (FRA – Lotus) nice move, overtakes #5 FANTIN for P8…

04’53’’ …followed by #17 Jazeman JAAFAR (MAS – ISR) overtaking #5 FANTIN for P9

18

05’09” GASLY overtakes STEVENS for P2

05’16” ROWLAND has stretched his lead to over 13sec… Chequered flag, ROWLAND wins

05’25” GASLY takes P2, SAINZ tries a final attack on STEVENS, goes wide… STEVENS holds on to P3, #20 Zoel AMBERG (SUI – AVF) behind in P5 - up 5 places from starting position.

05’33” Celebrations

05’41’’ GFX Race Classification

05’51’’ ITW Winner: Oliver ROWLAND In English “I knew it was important to get a good start, and we chose higher downforce which meant we had to be clever with DRS. Fortunately we had unbelievable pace throughout the race and it was just a case of controlling everything. It’s the first pit-stop I’ve ever done! So I was a bit nervous of that, but I had a gap so I was able to take it reasonably steady. The car was incredible – even at the end I could do lap after lap. For sure it’s easier to lead than to follow in these cars.”

06’20” GFX Drivers’ Championship Standings

06’27’’ Podium P1 Oliver ROWLAND – First rookie to win this season. P2 Pierre GASLY – great performance from the rookie, 2 nd podium of the season & 100% record of top 10 finishes so far.

19

P3 Will STEVENS – after his debut FR3.5 win in Monza, another welcome podium.
