FEB 13–14: CRUISING THE CHILEAN FJORDS Among the world’s most spectacular natural wonders are the Chilean Fjords, which stretch 800 miles between Cape Horn on the southern tip of South America and Chile. Snow-capped volcanoes, dense forests, thermal springs and enormous glaciers are part of the majestic scenery along the twisting channels and fjords. The land is teeming with wildlife, including condors, albatross and Magellanic penguins, and its waters are home to a wide variety of marine life. FEB 15: PUNTA ARENAS, CHILE Arrive 5AM–Depart 5PM Punta Arenas is a pleasant provincial town of colorful tin-roofed homes, whose affluent past is evident in its tree-lined Plaza Muñoz Gamero, graced with stately mansions and a bronze statue of . The town is also the gateway to Chilean Patagonia, a breathtaking region offering sweeping steppes, soaring mountains, dramatic glaciers and sapphire-blue fjords. FEB 16: USHUAIA, ARGENTINA Arrive 12PM–Depart 8PM Argentina’s intense natural beauty reaches a pinnacle in the southernmost city on Earth, Ushuaia.
