If the land trust assists in the preparation of the plan, it is solely to ensure compliance with the Conservation Easement. The land trust is not participating for other management objectives, such as maximizing income, yield, and the like. What are your Management Goals & Objectives for the Property? (Wildlife, Forestry, Agriculture, Term of , etc.)

Is the Property involved in any programs? Do you plan to enroll in any programs? (Examples: CRP, WHIP, EQIP, AWEP, Tree Farm, Treasure Forest, etc.)

The following questions are focusing on your current or planned land management activities. Do you perform regular maintenance on the Property? This includes the maintenance of food plots, roads, firebreaks, fences, irrigation systems, annual mowing, weed management, etc. and frequency.

Do you have any exotic/nuisance species that you are working to eliminate? If so, how? (Kudzu, privet, cogon grass, feral hogs, beaver, etc.)

What crops are planted during the various seasons on the cropland?

Do you have the soil tested on a regular basis?

How do you maintain the orchards of the Property?

How do you maintain the pastureland of the Property? (fertilizer, lime, haying, grazing rotations)

How do you manage your timberland and/or wildlife corridors? (burns, sprays, harvests)

How do you manage your food plots? (fertilizer, lime, plantings, etc., timing, frequency)

Do you conduct wildlife inventories, maintain harvest/call count records or release pen-raised birds? If yes, how frequently are they conducted? By whom? If birds are released, with what frequency and numbers? Goals?

Do you allow on your property? If so, do you have a hunting lease or a handshake? (Education opportunity for insurance info or for those entering property)

What are the conditions of the roads and trails on the Property? How do you maintain them?

Do you have any significant ecological features on the Property? (Springs, Creeks/Rivers, Species of Concern, Outcroppings, Caves, Relict timber, etc.)

If you have a pond, do you perform regular maintenance? If so, please describe. Additionally, if you have the right to expand the pond AND plan to do so, please describe below. Do you have nuisance species issues? Are any repairs needed?

Have you performed any management activities on the Property during the past 5 years? This would include timber thinnings, harvests, building construction, etc.
