1: Gingerbread Maple Cappuccino

This wonderful time of year leaves our senses on overload with amazing scents and tastes. We are transitioning from pumpkin and apple to gingerbread and eggnog among many other wonderful holiday treats.

Keurig has us covered when it comes to seasonal coffee flavors with the release of Gingerbread Kcup coffee! Of course I couldn't let this amazing flavor pass by without turning it into a delicious coffee house beverage (made in my own kitchen of course)!

Let's get to the recipe:

You will need:

1 Gingerbread Keurig Kcup coffee

2 T maple syrup

1 t cinnamon

1 cup milk

- Combine the milk, maple syrup and cinnamon in a blender.

- Blend on high for 1 minute.

- Pour into a microwave safe glass or large mug and heat for 45 seconds to 1 minute.

© www.crosscountrycafe.com Page 1

- Meanwhile, brew your Gingerbread Keurig Kcup coffee on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer.

- Pour the Gingerbread Kcup coffee into the warmed milk mixture.

- Top with cinnamon.

- Sip and enjoy!

I love that there is no need to own a fancy schmancy piece of equipment to make this delectable drink. Just us average joe's making a delicious cappuccino in our own kitchens for a fraction of the cost you would pay at a coffee shop : )

2: 60 Second Vanilla Eggnog Latte

This Keurig Kcup coffee recipe really could not be any easier. It requires two simple ingredients, one mug and can be prepared in less than 60 seconds with amazing results. This was my first Vanilla Eggnog Latte and it certainly will not be my last!

Let's get to the recipe...

You will need:

1 Spicy Eggnog Keurig Kcup coffee

1 Cafe Vanilla Keurig Kcup cool whip (optional)

-Start by brewing your Cafe Vanilla Kcup on the lowest water setting of your Keurig into a large mug.

-Next brew your Spicy Eggnog Kcup coffee on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer into the same mug that now contains the brewed Cafe Vanilla. If you are not sure that it will fit, brew into a separate mug and then combine.

-Top with cool whip.

-Grab a cozy blanket, park yourself in front of the fireplace and enjoy!

After my first sip of Vanilla Eggnog Latte I literally said "HOLY COW

THAT IS GOOD" out loud...it is a truly delicious, indulgent treat that I am quite certain you will love!

3: Blueberry White Chocolate Mocha

Stick with me on this one. I know it sounds slightly odd but, I promise you will not be disappointed. Blueberry White Chocolate Mocha is a unique concoction with amazing results. This isn't your standard mocha coffee, it is better. The flavors of the Blueberry Kcup are enhanced by the smooth sweetness of white chocolate. All coming together create a dessert beverage that is full of flavor and will leave your sweet tooth satisfied!

Let's get to the recipe...

!You will need:

1/2 C white chocolate chips (don't be cheap buy the good ones)

1 t vanilla extract

1/2 C milk

1/2 C half and half cream

1 Wild Mountain Blueberry Keurig Kcup

- Start by brewing the Wild Mountain Blueberry Kcup coffee on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer. As with almost all coffee recipes, you want to use a very concentrated coffee that will maintain its flavor when added to the recipe. Using less water when brewing Kcups helps to achieve this.

- Combine all ingredients into a medium size saucepan and heat on the stovetop, stirring constantly until the white chocolate dissolves.

- Pour into a very large mug or make 2 servings.

I chose not to top mine with any whipped cream or cinnamon...it simply doesn't need it. The flavor and sweetness is already so intense and quite frankly why mess with perfection?

I hope that you try this recipe; it is truly a modern day twist on a classic mocha that I think you will love!

4: Vanilla Chai Latte

This delicious little treat is so easy to make you can hardly call it a recipe. It requires only two simple ingredients and can be ready to sip in your favorite mug in under three minutes.

Without further ado I give you Keurig Kcup Vanilla Chai Latte...

You will need:

1 Vanilla Chai Keurig Kcup

1 C milk

- Start by brewing your Vanilla Chai Kcup tea on the lowest water setting of your Keurig.

- Heat the milk in the microwave or on the stove top to your desired temperature (do not boil).

- Froth the milk. This can be done in a variety of ways. I prefer a simple hand held milk frother such as this one that I picked up for .99! You can use a fancy schmancy frother as well or even a blender.

- Pour the milk into the brewed Vanilla Chai tea slowly.

- Top with cinnamon if you would like, sip and enjoy!

This is a nice alternative to a classic latte in fact I think it has a bit more

flavor! You can substitute the Vanilla Chai Keurig Kcup for any of the other chai varieties such as India Spice (my favorite), Pumpkin Spice and Spiced Apple.

Happy brewing!

5: Mexican Hot Cocoa

Cozy evenings by the fire are the new repertoire for a few months in chilly Ohio. We are making peace with the approaching frigid season by indulging in Netflix marathons while sipping creative treats that satisfy our sweet tooth’s and warm us from the inside out. My favorite concoction so far, hands down, is Mexican Hot Cocoa made with Cafe Escapes Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa. This isn't your mama's hot cocoa recipe...unexpected spices collide with rich chocolate and vanilla leaving your taste buds dancing with joy.

The best news is, you can make this little beauty in about three minutes using your Keurig brewer!

Let's get to the recipe...

1 Cafe Escapes Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Keurig Kcup

1t vanilla extract

1 pinch of nutmeg

1 pinch of cinnamon

1 pinch of cloves

1 pinch of chili or cayenne powder marshmallows or whipped cream for optional toppings

- Start by brewing your Cafe Escapes Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Kcup

on the highest water setting of your Keurig brewer. I have found that the Cafe Escapes do well with a higher amount of water.

- Add the vanilla and spices.

- Stir and top with marshmallows or whipped cream if you desire.

- Cuddle up by the fire, turn on your favorite show, sip and enjoy!

Next time I make this, I am going to try using Cafe Escapes Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa. I think that the dark chocolate will really enhance the spicy flavor. Perhaps perfection can be improved upon : )

Let's get to the recipe...

You will need:

1 pinch of cloves

1t orange zest

would recommend a dark roast to compliment the orange flavor.

7: Spicy Eggnog With a Kick

This was a holiday’ish sort of weekend in my household, the tree went up, the Christmas carols were playing and we watched It’s a Wonderful Life but the best part of course -eggnog! Thanks to the suggestion of one of our Facebook fans, this wasn’t any old eggnog; it was Keurig K-cup Spicy Eggnog Eggnog with a kick (I named it myself!). Get ready for this; I had never tried eggnog before until this weekend. I have no idea why and man oh man; I had no idea what I was missing! Especially with my doctored up version, ready for the recipe?

You will need:

-1 Spicy Eggnog Keurig Kcup

-Approximately 1 cup of eggnog

-1 shot of Crown Royal whiskey (optional of course)

-Whipped cream

-Red and green sugar sprinkles- this is not optional, everything is better with sprinkles ; )

-1 Candy cane to garnish

Heat the eggnog on the stovetop or in the microwave (I prefer the stove top, it just seems to heat more evenly). Meanwhile, brew the Spicy Eggnog Keurig Kcupon the lowest water setting of your brewer into a very large mug. Pour the warmed eggnog into the mug of brewed

coffee. Add 1 shot of Crown Royal whiskey. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Garnish with a candy cane.
