Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the adults MSK Physio service.

In response I am pleased to provide information below. This has been set out in a similar format to your request.

What is the current contract length for the MSK Physio service and when does it expire? The current contract is 3 years and due to expire in September 2014.

What is the current contract value of your MSK Physio service? £1.3M per annum.

What is the current performance of your MSK Physio service? KPI’s including any waiting times - what are they and what is the current compliance? Activity - what is the target and what is the current compliance? Current performances on KPIs - all KPIs are currently being met. The % of initial consultations booked in less than 4 weeks is 76%. Activity is 727 initial assessments a month. Activity each month is around this level and is to plan.

Is the MSK Physio service being operated within the contract value? If not could you please explain the reason for this? The service is being operated within the contract value.

What data capture systems do you use? Locally developed dashboard report derived from C&B data, provider's own data reporting system and SUS.

What buildings do you operate MSK Physio services from and which of these are the base of the operation? Sites are: Crystal Palace (main site), Berwick House, Knoll Rise, the Glades Bromley, Stock Hill Surgery and Bromley Park Surgery.

What are the future intentions for the MSK Physio Service? Plans about the future of the service are under consideration, with a final decision about whether to re-let the service to be made before the end of the calendar year.
