The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge of our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

BASIC SERVICE OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF $2,695.00 Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to: staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits; placement of obituaries and funeral notices; planning funeral arrangements and coordination of service with cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance, utility expenses, equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This service is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burial and forwarding or receiving remains.

EMBALMING OF DECEASED $695.00 Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

OTHER PREPARATION $350.00 Includes: cosmetics, hairdressing, restorative art, dressing and placing deceased in casket.

FORWARDING OF DECEASED TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $2,395.00 This charge includes the removal of deceased, basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming, obtaining necessary authorizations and permits, and local transportation to airport. This charge does not include visitation/viewing, funeral services in chapel prior to shipping deceased, airfare, or shipping container/combo/air tray.

FORWARDING OF DECEASED TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME INTERNATIONAL ADDITIONAL $500.00

RECEIVING DECEASED FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $1,895.00 This charge includes temporary shelter of deceased, basic services of funeral director and staff, transfer of deceased from airport, and transportation of deceased to cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include any visitation/viewing, funeral services, rites, or ceremonies.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES IMMEDIATE BURIAL $2,525.00 This charge for immediate burial includes removal of deceased, refrigeration, local transportation to the cemetery, obtaining necessary authorizations for burial, basic services of funeral director and staff. This charge does not include any visitations, viewing, ceremonies, prayer services, or a casket.

DISINTERMENT $1,000.00 Facilities and staff for disinterment. This service is required by Fairmount Cemetery in cases where a family wants to move their loved one from one resting place to another where handling of the casket is necessary. This charge includes obtaining necessary permits and authorizations, scheduling and arranging disinterment, attendance at the disinterment and re-interment, use of utility vehicle, and facilities and staff for re-casketing if necessary. This is in addition to any charges made by the cemetery.

CHAPEL RENTAL PACKAGE $1,800.00 This package applies when Fairmount is not involved with the care of the deceased. This charge includes; basic services of the funeral director and staff and service in The Quebec Place Chapel. Add reception, memorial stationary or other items as itemized on our General Price List.

This package includes basic service of the funeral director and staff, transfer to funeral home from place of death, embalming and other preparation, funeral coach, funeral ceremony in The Quebec Place Chapel. Standard Memorial Package including 100 Bi-Fold service folders, leather guest book, acknowledgement cards, 2 Tribute Videos, memorial candle and four bookmarks. Gathering includes up to two hours in Quebec Place, A/V System, set up, clean up and staff. If a gathering is not used, this package will be reduced by $1300.00

Gathering includes up to two hours in Quebec Place, A/V System, set up, clean up and staff. If a gathering is not used, this package will be reduced by $1300.00. Add an urn of your choice and also Funeral Coach if service is held away from Fairmount.

This discounted package includes basic service of funeral director and staff, transfer of deceased to funeral home, Memorial/Celebration of life Service located in the Quebec Place Chapel, basic memorial package including 100 folders, guest book and acknowledgement cards, and crematory charge. Add Alternative Container and urn of your choice. Gathering includes up to two hours in Quebec Place, A/V System, set up, clean up and staff. DIRECT CREMATION (NON-CEREMONIAL)

This charge for a direct cremation includes: transfer of deceased, local transportation to crematory, obtaining necessary authorizations, basic services of funeral director and staff and crematory fee. If you want to arrange a non-ceremonial cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like cardboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).
