22nd Latin ® Entering Tips

Review all resource documents available in the Resources Tab on the top right hand side of the home page to learn about new eligibility guidelines changes and see how these changes may affect your submissions for this year. It is strongly suggested that you PRINT these documents.

USE “TAB” or your MOUSE to move from one field to another; DO NOT USE the “ENTER” key.

Upper / Lower Case

Always use upper & lower case letters – NOT all caps. Example: The Cat And The Mouse NOT THE CAT AND THE MOUSE

SELECT LANGUAGE: English, Spanish or Portuguese on the top right corner.

Click on CREATE A NEW SUBMISION

CREATE A NAME for the entry you are submitting

SELECT RECORDING TYPE: Single, Track, or Video. The recording type will be restricted to the category requirements.

SELECT LANGUAGE TYPE This will help determine the categories you will be able to submit to

SELECT RECORDING TYPE: Single, Track, Album or Video. The recording type will be restricted to the category requirements.

SELECT ARTIST TYPE: Solo, Duo, Group or Various

ARTIST: Enter the name of the artist as it appears on the product (upper & lower case):

Examples: Tito El Bambino Rubén Blades y Seis Del Solar

ESTABLISHED GROUP MEMBERS: Enter the names of the group members. Please only enter those that are part of the established group, not invited musicians, etc.

TITLE: Enter the complete title of the entry as it appears on the product (upper & lower case).

RELEASE DATE: Provide a complete release date: MM/DD/YYYY. Please note that the calendar is based in our eligibility period.

UPC or ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) Number: Use the digits below the bar code on the product. Be sure to keep these numbers identical when entering the same product in various categories.

CREDITED : List the record company that released the recording.

SELECT FORMAT: Streaming, CD

SELECT FIELD/CATEGORY TYPE: Choose a specific category and carefully read the description.

Click ADD FILES TO SUBMISSIONS

INSTALL the Aspera Program

DOWNLOAD the one according to your computer:

• Click SAVE FILE • Click RUN • Click NEXT • Click FINISH

Click ADD FILES TO SUBMISSIONS

• Click the tab UPLOAD NEW FILES • Click STEP 1 – Select Files • Click STEP 2 – Upload Files • Close

For each category, click the arrow and ASSIGN THE FILE accordingly

PROVIDE STREAMING DISTRIBUTION LINKS: Spotify, , Apple, Tidal, Deezer, Bandcamp and/or YouTube Music.

Click NEXT SECTION

ADDITIONAL CREDITED INDIVIDUALS: (, producers, etc.) Enter full name of individual. For additional individuals, click “Add Another” for each individual.

PROVIDE Artist Contact Information

SAVE ENTRY OR CANCEL ENTRY: You may save your entry or, if you have changed your mind, you may cancel the entry.

Click NEXT SECTION

REVIEW

Click COMPLETE when you have reviewed the information provided.

You will be taken back to the DASHBOARD to continue submitting entries.

LOG OUT OF SESSION: If you wish to exit the system but are NOT yet ready to submit your saved entries to the Latin GRAMMYs, click on “Log Out.” Only saved entries will be accessible when you re-enter the system prior to the end of that round.

MODIFY/VIEW ENTRIES: Before submitting entries to The Latin Recording Academy, you may at any time MODIFY/VIEW your saved entries. While in the MODIFY mode, you may edit an existing entry (spelling corrections, adding additional artists, changing release date, etc.) or you may DELETE an entry.

NOTE: If you are editing an entry, and the same recording is entered in more than one category, please edit each entry consistently.

NOTE: If you want to change the category for an entry after it has been saved, you must DELETE the incorrect entry and begin again.

PROCEED TO FINAL SUBMIT: When you have completed ALL YOUR ENTRIES, click the “Final Submit” button. We ask that you do not wait until the deadline indicated on your timetable, but rather, that you submit your entries as early as possible.

If you have not finished submitting all your entries, do not click Final Submit until you are done making your entries; once you click it and you still have entries left to submit, the program won’t allow you back in.

NOTE: You will receive an e-mail confirming your submission to The Latin Recording Academy.

While in the SUBMIT TO LATIN GRAMMYs portion of the site, DO NOT FORGET to print a copy of your SUMMARY LIST to accompany the product (Package category). It is “step 3” of the final submit process.

SUBMISSION LIST/PRODUCT: You must generate a Submission List prior to submitting your entries. This list will print by UPC number and will indicate how many total pieces of each product are required for those categories, which require product.

Please send all required product immediately as your entries cannot be processed completely until all product is received.

A COPY OF THE SUBMISSION LIST MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR PRODUCT.
