Alejandro Fernandez, Joan Sebastian, and Marco Antonio Solis Announce Los Tres Tour ALEJANDRO FERNANDEZ, JOAN SEBASTIAN, AND MARCO ANTONIO SOLIS ANNOUNCE LOS TRES TOUR SUPERSTARS KICK‐OFF U.S. TOUR APRIL 10 AT THE HONDA CENTER (Los Angeles, CA – February 3rd, 2010) International superstars Marco Antonio Solis, Joan Sebastian and Alejandro Fernandez announced today that they will headline their first tour together this spring. LOS TRES TOUR is a mega star match up of Mexico’s most extraordinary and respected talent playing some of the most exciting and important music in the world. The Live Nation produced tour kicks off in southern California at the Honda Center on April 10th, making a multi‐city trek across the United States. (See below for full schedule) LOS TRES: THE ARTISTS Each of the artists on LOS TRES TOUR has a stellar recording and touring career of their own, so the tour is more than a concert, it’s a history making event; the biggest showcase of Regional Mexican Music and Mexican pop ever. Each show is an opportunity for fans to see individual performances by three of their favorite artists and also see them as they join each other on stage to perform some musical surprises. The artists share mutual admiration and respect, but this is the first time that all three have shared a headline tour. ALEJANDRO FERNANDEZ Mexican superstar Alejandro Fernandez is one of the few Latin singers that enjoys extraordinary success singing both ranchera and pop music. This week alone, he tops both the pop and regional charts with his most recent dual disc release, Dos Mundos. Fernandez has had innumerable Number One hits in the U.S. and throughout Latin America and Spain, and has sold more than 18 million albums along the way. With 20 studio albums recorded, many which have gone multi‐platinum, along with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and numerous Grammy and Latin Grammy awards and nominations, Fernandez is considered one of the most talented and successful Mexican singers ever. JOAN SEBASTIAN Producer, Singer songwriter Joan Sebastian is one of the most influential Mexican performers of all time.     La importancia de soñar y luchar. Joan Sebastian. Publicado originalmente en Agosto de 2008 No es fácil triunfar en la vida viniendo desde abajo y llegar a la cima sin perder el suelo, pero uno de los pocos que lo ha logrado es Joan Sebastian, cantante y compositor mexicano que a pesar de tener muchos obstáculos en el camino, los ha sabido sortear con habilidad, destreza y mucha fuerza de voluntad para mantenerse como un ídolo popular desde hace ya casi tres décadas. Infancia internada. Joan Sebastian nació en Juliantla, Guerrero, con el nombre de José Manuel Figueroa, el 8 de abril de 1951. A pesar de que buena parte de su niñez transcurrió en internados de Guerrero y Morelos, su sensibilidad artística no se vio inhibida, así que desde los ocho años de edad cambiaba las letras de canciones populares sustituyendo con las que él escribía, iniciando a los once años sus primeros trabajos en el área de la composición. A los catorce años ingresa al Seminario Conciliar de San José en Cuernavaca, esto debido a la admiración que sentía por un padre que conoció en el internado, David Salgado, aunque tres años después descubrió que su vocación musical superaba a la religiosa. De Oaxtepec a la capital. El primer trabajo que tuvo en ese tiempo fue como auxiliar de hospedaje en el Centro Vacacional de Oaxtepec, en donde le permitían cantar sus canciones en el sonido local durante sus ratos libres –y es que no lo hacía mal-. Su destino comenzó a marcarse en 1968, cuando a ese lugar llegó Angélica María a descansar y después de escucharlo, lo recomendó con el compositor Eduardo Magallanes, quien desgraciadamente no se encontraba en la capital del país cuando José Manuel fue a visitarlo; después de tres meses de tocar puertas y recibir rechazos, finalmente es aceptado en Discos Capitol, quienes lanzan su primer disco seis meses después, del cual se desprendió el sencillo Descartada, que funcionó muy bien en el norte del país, vendiendo doce mil copias en Sonora, algo muy bueno para un debutante.

    Barry Lather Since the late 1990s, Lather has directed many large productions adding another stage to his director/choreographer career, directing world tours & live television performances for Usher, P.Diddy, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Ciara, Pussycat Dolls, Sean Kingston, Ashlee Simpson, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani, and Seal. He also was creative consultant on Britney Spears’ “Dream within a Dream” world tour, working along with director Wade Robson. Lather was creative director for Usher’s Showtime special One Night, One Star, broadcast live from Puerto Rico; Usher’s “The Truth Tour” in 2005, and Usher & James Brown’s show stopping performance on the 2005 Grammy Awards. In 2010, Barry directed Usher’s performance on the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance”, Britain’s Got Talent, X Factor, 2010 BET Award performance, 2010 American Music Awards and the dynamic MTV Video Music Awards performance in Los Angeles.
