Born in Worlingworth, where her neice still lives, she moved to Redlingfield with husband Arthur, who was born in Hoxne, in the early 1950s when her R COLE house on the Knoll was built. Her husband passed away 19 years ago. Frances had been unwell for the past few years following a fall and a severe neck injury. Loved by her carers, she was an independent-minded woman who enjoyed gardening and her cats.
