Introduction This guide provides a summary of our popular and great value tickets and fares for Stagecoach services in the East of Scotland including bus routes across Angus, Clackmannanshire, , , , Forth Valley and Perthshire and into and .

What’s new • Single, return, dayrider, megarider and multi-journey ticket prices have been revised from 25 March 2018 • This guide now includes the full range of special day return tickets valid for adults and children on certain routes and services • The charge for a new smart card issued by the driver if you don’t already have one, is now £1 - don’t forget to keep, reuse and register your StagecoachSmart card to avoid the charge!

Our range of tickets • single tickets - designed for the occasional customer making one journey, our single fares start from 90p.

• return tickets - valid for a return trip where the return journey must be undertaken within 28 days. Not valid for 2 journeys in the same direction. Return tickets can offer around 20% saving on the price of two single tickets.

• day return tickets - valid on the day of purchase for a return trip, not valid for 2 journeys in the same direction or on night buses. Unless specified, day returns are off-peak tickets valid after 0900 Monday to Friday or anytime at the weekend.

• dayrider tickets - valid for 1 day’s unlimited travel within your selected zone.

• megarider tickets - available as 7 day and 4 week options (consecutive days/weeks) for unlimited travel within your selected zone. Megarider tickets are ideal for regular travel and can be passed to friends and family when you’re not using it.

• megariderXtra - a ticket based on the same zone boundaries as regular megarider tickets offering unlimited travel, but instead of a one-off payment a recurring payment means your ticket is valid for a calendar month and will be automatically added to your StagecoachSmart card to present to our driver when you board.

• flexirider tickets - ideal for someone who makes the same journey regularly, but not every day. You can buy 12 single journeys for the price of 10 and use whenever you like within 28 days.

Up to 5 years Up to 4 children under the age of 5 travel free when accompanied by a responsible passenger, provided that the children are seated in a buggy in an appropriate space on the vehicle and/or do not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare paying customer.

5 - 15 inclusive This age group qualify for a discounted fare of up to half the adult single fare, rounded up to the nearest 10p. On services in the Angus area, the concession is two-thirds of the relevant adult fare.

Young Scot Card A Scotland-wide travel scheme for young people. The Young Scot Card holder is entitled to a discount of one third off all adult single fares. You can apply for a Young Scot via your school or local authority, see youngscot.org for more info.

All tickets for under 19s can be bought from the driver, you may be asked for ID to prove your age.

Nightrider

A nightrider ticket is valid for unlimited travel on services across Fife, Dundee, Perthshire and Angus after 7pm. Not valid for journeys across the Forth to Edinburgh, Forth Valley, Cumbernauld or Glas- gow, Stirling or north of Montrose towards Aberdeen. Guide to tickets and fares page 5 of 7

StagecoachSmart When you buy a 7 day, 4 week or megarider Xtra ticket, it will be loaded onto a StagecoachSmart card. You can “top-up” your card by paying the driver for a new ticket, which will be valid straight away, or you can buy megarider tickets online in advance of your travel and they will be loaded onto your card in 2 days.

There is a £1 charge for a new card issued by the driver, so be smart with your card: • Register your card to protect your tickets if your card is lost or stolen • Reload your card by buying tickets online or on bus • Reuse your card and remember it for every journey There is no charge if you buy your ticket online, or top-up your existing StagecoachSmart card.

Multi-operator tickets

ABC ticket ABC day and week tickets are available within the Dundee area, valid for use on Moffat and Williamson, Stagecoach and Xplore Dundee services. Buy from the driver or Dundee bus station and use whenever you like across the city. Visit www.stagecoachbus.com/tickets for info.

One-Ticket One-ticket offers you unlimited travel on most operator’s services in East and Central Scotland. Simply choose the area you wish to travel within, then use any bus routes within your zone. One-ticket offers a bus only or a rail and bus option and you can now buy and use the bus version via an app. For more information visit www.one-ticket.co.uk.

Plusbus Plusbus tickets can be bought alongside a train ticket, giving you unlimited bus and tram travel across most operator’s services in the area. Buy plusbus tickets at your local rail station or online when purchasing a rail ticket. Find out more at www.plusbus.info.

Other terms & conditions

Refunds for longer period tickets will be considered upon written request and surrender/cancellation of the appropriate ticket. There is a £10 administration fee for refunds of paper tickets and a £5 fee for refunds on cancelled StagecoachSmart tickets.

If your StagecoachSmart card is lost or stolen, you must notify us immediately on 0345 810 1000. Replacement cards will not be issued unless the card has been registered at stagecoachbus.com. Please refer to the full terms and conditions for online sales for tickets bought on our website.

Replacement tickets due to loss or damage may be considered for unirider or paper 4 week tickets.

All customers need to have a valid ticket or pass for their journey. Customers who fail to show this when requested will be asked to pay a standard fare charge of £30 and may face prosecution.
