Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival in Nairobi( 5:00am), you will disembark your flight and enter the international arrivals area where you will be met by a Willis Concierge representative who will guide you through passport control, assist you with luggage collection and customs formalities. You will make your way to the arrivals hall where you will be met by a Bush & Beyond representative for your private transfer to the Nairobi Wilson Airport.
MEET AND GREET: If you cannot locate your meet and greet o the plane, please make your own way through customs to avoid long lines or delays. If you cannot locate your Bush & Beyond driver outside of the airport, please call Bush & Beyond at: 011 (254 723) 580-330. If you cannot reach a representative, please refer to the separate contact list.
KENYA VISAS: Visas may be purchased upon arrival for US $50 per person for a single-entry visa to be paid in USD cash (2008 bills or newer). Price is subject to change without notice.
YELLOW FEVER VACCINE: As first reported by the CDC, there is currently a nationwide shortage of the yellow fever vaccine. Please refer to the CDC website (www.cdc.gov/yellowfever/) for further information and speak to your travel doctor as soon as possible about receiving this vaccine. Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for all passengers when traveling to Kenya from an infected area within 90 days of arrival. If you do not have proof of vaccination or a letter of exemption from your doctor to present at customs, you will incur penalties or be denied entry into these countries. Vaccination is required at least 10 days before travel. Yellow fever requirements are subject to change without notice; please speak to your travel medical professional for more details.
PLASTIC BAG BAN: Kenya has implemented bans on the manufacture and use of plastic bags. We recommend that you do not bring any carrier (grocery/retail) or flat (garbage) bags in your luggage, or they may be confiscated at the airport.

LUGGAGE RESTRICTIONS: Luggage should be packed in soft-sided bags. The luggage allowance is one (1) checked bag and one (1) carry-on bag totaling 33lbs/15kg per person. Overweight or excess luggage will be allowed only if space permits and at additional cost to the traveler.

Upon arrival at the border, you will complete customs to exit Kenya and enter Tanzania.
TANZANIA VISAS: A valid passport and visa are required for entry into Tanzania. US passport holders may purchase a tourist visa upon arrival in Tanzania for US $100 per person multiple-entry. Be prepared to pay in both USD cash (2008 bills or newer) and by credit card (Visa or Master Card). Cash is strongly recommended as credit card processing is not always functional and is unreliable. All prices are subject to change without notice. At this time, Tanzania does not currently issue single-entry visas to US passport holders. You may also be required to present proof of vaccination against yellow fever, so be sure to carry your vaccination record with you.
