WORTHY AND WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE Junior forward Kendra Williams has been showing her dominance as of late. The Raleigh, North Carolina native is averaging a team-high 8.3 rebounds per contest and has been aggressive on in the paint, averaging 10.0 points per contest in 31.5 minutes.

Senior guard Kara Ayers is leading the Terriers this season in points per game, averaging 17.5, while pulling down close to 5.0 rebounds, and leading the team in steals with 12 total, averaging 3.0 per contest. Ayers has also showed extreme concentration at the free throw line, hitting 19 out of 23 attempted shots for a 82.6% free throw percentage.

KRISTIN’S LEIT-ING IT UP AND DOMINATING HER HOUSE Sophomore forward Kristin Leitheuser is showing that she is going to be a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball. This season, Kristin is the second leader scorer for the Terriers, averaging 11.8 points per game. Leitheuser is second only to Kendra Williams in the team’s leading rebounding category, averaging 7.5 a contest. Her tenacity and hard-work makes her a player the Terriers will focus around in her years to come.

WHO LET THE DAWG’S OUT The Terriers will open up the month of December with three consecutive road matchups. St. Francis travels for the first time ever, to Smithfield, Rhode Island, to square off against the . Bryant, who will become a full-time Northeast Conference member following the 2012 campaign, will also have a chance to see what basketball is about in Brooklyn Heights, as they will take on the Terriers in the Pope PE Center right after Valentine’s Day, on February 23rd at 7:00 pm.

TERRIERS HOPE EARLY SEASON NEC MATCHES WON’T BE THE PITTS The Northeast Conference schedule kicks off early for the Terriers. St. Francis will first see the Red Flash of St. Francis University (PA) on December 6th in Loretto, PA at 4:00 pm. Following that contest, the Terriers will travel to Moon Township, PA to square off against the on December 8th. This will be the first matchup of the season since these two schools meet in the opening round of the Northeast Conference Tournament game last March.
