ARN LANDS A HUGE 42 NOMINATIONS AS 2015 ACRA FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
Finalists for the 27th annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards have been announced, with ARN earning a huge haul of 42 nominations across 25 prestigious categories.
Two of ARN’s top on-air talent teams are again set to battle it out for honours in the prestigious Metropolitan Best On–Air category.
Can Jonesy & Amanda at WS FM101.7 follow up last year’s victory and make it back to back wins in the coveted Metropolitan Best On-Air Team FM?
Or will four-time winners and stablemates Kyle & Jackie O on KIIS 1065 take out the top honour?
ARN received three nominations in the Best Producer category, with last year’s winner Laura Viglino again a finalist for her work on WS FM101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda show, along with Nic McClure for The Kyle & Jackie O Show, KIIS 1065 and Joe Gleeson for Scotty & Nige on 104.7 FM, Canberra (JV with SCA).
ARN also has three nominations across two Best Newcomer categories with Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom on Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 nominated for Metro, and Adam Price on The Edge96.ONE and Katarina Slavich on Mix 106.3 Canberra (JV with SCA) nominated for the provincial category.
ARN landed a company record of 42 finalist nominations, across a range of categories showing the depth of talent across the company in marketing, campaigns, sales, digital and, of course, on-air talent.

Entries for the awards were received from 260 metropolitan and regional radio stations across Australia. Winners will be announced at a gala black tie event at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday,10 October.
