Brief Introduction: Odisha Gramya Bank was established on 7th January 2013 with the amalgamation of Neelachal Gramya Bank, Kalinga Gramya Bank and Baitarani Gramya Bank as per Notification No. F.1/1/2012- RRB dated 07.01.2013 issued under sub-section (1) of Section 23A of Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 (21 of 1976) by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, Government of India. The share capital of the Bank is contributed by Government of India, Sponsor Bank (Indian Overseas Bank) and Government of Odisha in the ratio of 50:35:15 respectively. Odisha Gramya Bank is a scheduled Bank and included in the Second schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 as per RBI circular No. RBI/2014-15/474 RPCD. CO. RRB. BC. No/81/ 03.05. 100 /2013-14 dated 29.01.2014 and Notification No RPCD. CO RRB. No. 46/03.05.100 / 2013-14 Dated 22nd October 2013 published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of India (Part III-Section 4) on 5th December 2013. -

DIRECTORS’ REPORT The Board of Directors of Odisha Gramya Bank have the pleasure in presenting the 9h Annual Report of the Bank along with the Audited Balance Sheet as on 31st March, 2021 and Profit & Loss Account for the Financial Year 2020-21, in terms of Section 20(1) of the Regional Rural Banks Act 1976. 1. Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) - CRP RRBs X Website: www.ibps.in In case of queries / complaints please log in to http://cgrs.ibps.in/ The online examinations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs X) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September/ October 2021. The interviews for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the same process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority tentatively in the month of November 2021. Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Regional Rural Banks listed at (A) as Group “A”-Officers (Scale- I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose), is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs- X). For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two tier i.e. the Online Examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. For the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose), candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination. They will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main Examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs. For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main Examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. -
Executive Summary
PLP 2016-17 Deogarh Executive Summary 1. District of Deogarh is situated in the Western region of the State having its Head Quarter at Deogarh. The district is located between 21o 11' -21 43" N Latitude and 84o 28'-85 15’ E Longitude. It is bounded by Sambalpur in the west, Sundargarh in the north and Angul in the south-east. The district has one sub-division, 3 blocks, 60 GPs and 711 inhabited villages and a municipal town. 2. The district is predominantly agriculture based having net sown area of around 66950 ha. About 34 % of the net sown area is irrigated. Despite continued fragmentation of land holdings, the core sector of the economy continues to be agriculture. The principal crops grown in the district are paddy, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables and water melon. The agro- climatic condition of the district is suitable for horticulture development. The district is famous for fruits like, Mango, Orange and litchi. 3. Sectors like goatery, dairy, fishery and agro-based and food processing industries have enough potential for development in the district. 4. The district has a network of 38 bank branches - 27 branches of Commercial Banks, 08 branches of Utkal Grameen Bank and 03 branches of Sambalpur District Central Cooperative Bank. 5. The ground level credit flow to Priority Sector increased from `9089.83 lakh in 2012-13 to `16346.21 lakh in 2014-15 registering a growth of 80% over last two years. The credit deployment to agriculture increased from `6830.25 lakh to `13029.39 lakh registering growth of 91 % during the same period. -

Proper utilization and mobili- zation of finance is necessary for the inclusive growth and it can be possible through financial inclusion. Financial inclusion is a bold step taken by government of India to include the financially excluded people in to the financial boundary of the economy. And this can be achievable only through the cooperation of all banking institutions like commercial banks, Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) etc. The RRBs plays a significant role in the development of the rural people through financial inclusion which helps for inclusive growth and sustainable development. Financial inclusion is a process of ensuring access to suitable financial products and services needed by sus- ceptible growth such as weaker sections and low income groups at an affordable cost in a fair and transparent manner by mainstream financial intuitional players. The study focus on the importance of financial inclusion in rural areas and through light on the steps taken by the Utkal Grameen Bank (UGB) and various strategies adopted to strengthen the financial inclusion. UGB has operates in 17 econom- ically backward districts all over the state having 57% of the total districts.
