2 EMGA Update 13 May 2014 Version 1 EMGA Junior Golf Support As many of you know the Eisenhower conducts two Junior Golf camps each year for the beginner, intermediate and advance players at the EGC. Many of you had your kids; grandkids as well as other relatives attend. As in the past we’ve had EMGA volunteer participation and again this year we are soliciting some help from our members. This year the camps are 2 - 6 June and 23 – 27 June. We need three folks from 0830 - 1230 for the 2 – 6 June week and three from 0730 - 1130 for the 23 to 27 June week. You can volunteer for just one day or more if you can, The duties involve mainly logistics support in getting the kids around to the putting, chipping and driving venues as well as sign ins on the first day. There is no previous experience necessary; just be there to provide support to the staff and the kids.

Phil Trujillo of the EGC who heads up the Junior Golf Program told me there are still openings for both sessions so it’s not too late to sign up a family member and make a family outing of it.

I’ll be the interface to the EGC so please respond to me, Marty Bunker, Vice President EMGA, [email protected], 719 598-1893. This is a positive credential for our EMGA, but more importantly, by our example, we show to the future generations the lifelong enjoyment of the game of golf.
