EDAG – 40 YEARS Company History 1969 – 2009 ”If you don‘t know where you come from, then you don‘t know who you are.“ 4 6 FOREWORD BY THE MANAGEMENT

This year, along with our staff and customers, we are able to look back on 40 years of EDAG history. In these four decades, the company has developed from a small design office with a staff of four into the largest independent partner to the international mobility industry. Today, we have over 5,600 employees working on complete developments for vehicles and production facilities, plant construction and low-volume production for the automotive, aerospace and rail industries, and for providers of regenerative energies. Worldwide, at over 35 locations, on five continents. An impressive performance, and one which is owed not just to enterprising foresight of the company‘s founders, but above all to the flexibility and commitment of our employees. A very big thank you to all of you for the work you have put in. You have taken to heart and put into practice the EDAG values of tradition, innovation, team spirit and a cooperative relationship with our customers, thus contributing to the success of the EDAG brand. „If you don‘t know where you come from, then you don‘t know who you are.“ True to this motto, our 40-year anniversary has prompted us to summarise some of the significant milestones of the last four decades, and issue this account of our development and achievements. The Management

Jörg Ohlsen, CEO Manfred Hahl, COO Rainer Bauer, CFO 1969 Eckard Design was founded by Horst Eckard in Groß-Zimmern near on 1st February 1969, at which time it was known as „Kon- struktionsbüro Horst Eckard“. The original members of staff were Egon Schnell, Jordi Arau and Karl-Heinz Pfuhl. On 1st July of the same year, Mr Ewald Vollmer, Spokesman of the Board of EDAG Engineering + Design AG until March 2002, joined the young company. Further partners joined in September, namely Dieter Hinz, Franz Frohnapfel and Peter Heil. The Ford works in were Eckard Design‘s first customer. True to the philosophy - still valid today - „always close to the customers, where- ver they are“, the first office was in Cologne. At the end of this first year, the second car manufacturer was acquired as a customer: BMW. At that time, the company employed 8 people. 4 5

1970 By now, the team in had grown to seven. Eckard Design opened our company‘s headquarters, an office at Stein- weg 26 in Fulda. The advantages to a German company working in the field of automotive development of having Fulda as its central office applied then, in the same way they still do now: none of the German car manufacturers is more than 300 km away from the head office. Sadly, this year saw the loss of two valued employees, Thomas Stickel and Klaus Möller, who died in a car accident on their way to work at the Cologne office on 22nd June 1970. We would like to take this opportunity to honour their memory.

1971 First body design order from Ford for our Cologne office. 1972 The new office in Steinau near Fulda was completed in February. Working at the weekends, Eckard Design renovated the old schoolhouse, to create the largest office space so far - 150 m². By the end of the year, there were already 20 employees working in Stei- nau. For the first time ever, total turnover exceeded DM 2 million.

1973 A new customer was acquired in the shape of . Turnover rose to above DM 3.3 million. On 1.9.1973, Mr Willi Schwarz, Eckard Design‘s first apprentice, started his career as an apprentice draughtsman. Mr Schwarz still works for our company, and is today a departmental manager in body design.

1974 This year, Eckard Design changed both its legal form and name, be- coming „Eckard Design GbR“. The partners were Horst Eckard, Ewald Vollmer, Franz Frohnapfel, Dieter Hinz and Peter Heil. Its constant expansion meant the company had to move from its premises in Steinau to new offices at Petersberger Str. 24-26 in Fulda (close to the Osthessen-Center). By now, the company had a workforce of over 50. 6 7

Eckard Design GbR acquired an interest in FFT, a manufacturing company located in Mücke.

1975 joined the ranks of our customers this year, placing an order for welding technology.

1976 Eckard Design GbR‘s Fulda office executed a major order for , Osnabrück - the first order to carry a penalty in the event of delayed de- livery. The staff applied themselves to the job with such enthusiasm that the order was completed well ahead of time, and Karmann sent a thank you letter in recognition. Back then, Eckard Design was already using a flexible working time model. Customers‘ orders and project deadlines were, and still are, given top priority and adhered to. A record is kept of any extra hours worked, and the employee can then decide whether to take time off in lieu, or have the overtime paid. A new office was established in Heidenheim.

1977 Another new customer was acquired, this time , and Eckard Design GbR began work at Audi‘s premises. Further customers at the time were Ford, BMW, VW, Roth-Electric, KUKA, Voith and FFT.

1978 Contact with Audi was intensified, making it necessary to move into a new 150 m² office in . Mr. G. Schäffer was the office manager. By the middle of August, 10 employees were already working there.

1979 At the beginning of the second quarter, Eckard Design GbR opened a new office in the „Schillerteichzentrum“ in . Mr Wolfgang Weidemann was the office manager. 8 9

Due to the fact that more and more communication problems were occurring, we decided to hold our first management seminar. This proved to be a good investment.

1980 As a result of the seminar held in 1979, Eckard Design GbR began to hold conferences in which all office managers and their deputies participated. On 1.1.1980, the company moved into the new 425 m² office in the building belonging to the Fulda company Flamme. It was here that, in February, the first body development order was executed for Daimler-Benz. Additional office space was rented in Cologne.

1981 For the first time ever, our turnover figures exceeded DM 20 million. As more space was needed in Munich, the company moved to premises close to today‘s FIZ (BMW‘s research and development centre). 1982 From April on, the Fulda office was enlarged by renting a further 300 m² from Flamme. In addition, a 3D measuring machine was purchased for the Ingolstadt branch. The entire building there was bought in August.

1983 As Audi had decided to use CADDS, the CV-Computervision CAD system, Eckard Design GbR bought its first CAD monitors with their own compu- ter for the Ingolstadt / Gaimersheim branch this year. On 1st April, construction work started on the new office in the Rees- bergstraße in Fulda-Lehnerz. The company had moved in by the end of December. „Eckard-Design-Entwicklungs GmbH“ was founded for our branches in Munich and Ingolstadt/Gaimersheim this year. E. Schnell, H. Linder, I. Lüers and Z. Piotrowski were all partners in this new company. 10 11

1984 The new building in the Reesbergstraße was officially opened by the Reverend Famula on 7.7.1984, and a document was walled in with the foundation stone. In the meantime, Eckard Design by now employed over 250 people. There were 69 new appointments this year alone. Due to a shortage of space in Cologne, larger offices were taken close to Ford. Federal President, Carl Carstens, conferred a distinction on Eckard Design for excellence in the field of professional training.

1985 This year saw the installation of the first CAD system in Fulda. Once the staff had been trained to use the system, Eckard Design GbR was awar- ded a major order by Ford. After 15 years, Eckard Design GbR received its first body design order from Opel. 76 new employees joined the company in 1985. The office in Ingolstadt was modified, and a new wing added. To ensure an international presence, an office was opened in Witham, England, and manned by a number of English colleagues from the Wolfsburg office. Adrian Pringle was the first office manager. 1986 The strong growth rate continued in 1986. With 79 new members of staff, the number of new appointments was at an all-time high. The esta- blishment of an experimental shop in Fulda heralded the start of proto- type construction activities. Our first employee in this field was Mr Adolf Hohmann. We would like to pay tribute to Mr Hohmann, who has since died. On 1.4.1986, Herrmann and Walter Göbel joined the company, and, together with Mr Hohmann formed the first prototype construction team. Further premises were rented in Munich. In the Fulda office, the new electrics department came into being, headed by Mr Thiesen.

1987 At the beginning of this year, the second section of the building in the Reesbergstraße in Fulda was completed, and the experimental shop inte- grated in the basement of the new building. Autolatina (Ford/VW) awarded the Ingolstadt office a major order, which was the first development order that we carried out completely in CAD. The new office in the Schweriner Straße in Wolfsburg was completed and moved into. This was the year in which Eckard Design GbR received its first major order from Opel. 12 13

A branch office was founded in Barcelona, , as a wholly owned subsidiary of Eckard Design. The subsidiary was managed by Mr Hans Neuhaus. The total workforce had now risen to over 500.

1988 Eckard-Design-Technik GmbH, today‘s business unit for our loading aid for wheelchairs, was founded to market the loading aid the company had developed. In Fulda, the third section of the building in the Reesbergstraße was completed. Also, a 5-axis MECOF milling machine was installed in Fulda‘s prototype construction section. This is popularly called „Big Ewald“. The Spanish office in Barcelona was ready for occupancy in the summer. Within a year, 70-strong team had been built up there. 1989 Having now been in business for 20 years, the company‘s turnover crossed the „magic“ DM 100 million threshold for the first time ever. This put Eckard Design GbR in a position to make investments amounting to some DM 8.3 million. There then followed the first order from Ferrari in .

1990 Eckard-Design Ltd. was founded in Witham, England, on 10.1.1990; a wholly owned subsidiary of Eckard Design, with share capital of GBP 250,000.00. Adrian Pringle was the office manager. For the first time in the history of the company, a two-figure investment sum (DM 25 million) was made available, to allow the growth potential in the international automotive market to be exploited to the full.

1991 Eckard Design GbR built a more than 4,500 m² factory workshop in the Steinauer Straße in Petersberg, for the construction of operable and testable prototypes. The building in Westhagen near Wolfsburg was extended for the MPV order awarded by VW/FORD. 14 15

In order to be able to provide on-site availability for Opel in Rüsselsheim, a 470 m² office building was rented at Eisenstraße 48. On 1.1.1991, 110 employees from AWE, the former car factory in , were taken on, and a branch office was founded there on 15.2.1991. To begin with, use was made of the AWE premises in Buchenau. Eckard Design GbR appointed its 1,000th employee in the first quarter of this year.

1992 On 15.2.1992, Eckard Design GmbH was transformed into EDAG Engineering + Design AG, with share capital of DM 10.5 million. The original shareholders were Ewald Vollmer, Horst Eckard, Franz Frohnapfel, Peter Heil, Dieter Hinz, Harald Linder, Ingolf Lüers, Zygmunt Piotrowski and Egon Schnell. To the Steinauer Straße premises were added a factory workshop and office building with a total surface area of over 11,500 m². Among other things, this building housed a design/styling studio and company restaurant. An 18,500 m² building plot was purchased at Weinbergstraße 1 in Eisenach Stedtfeld. Plans were drawn up for new buildings to provide 1,700 m² of office space and a 5,100 m² production area. In November, an 800-tonne press was purchased. The investment volume came to a total of some DM 30 million. On 11.9.1992, EDAG Engineering + Design AG founded a branch office in São Paulo-São Bernardo do Campo, . Its first customer was Auto- latina (Ford/VW). Today, this subsidiary is managed by Mr Martin Vollmer. EDAG Engineering + Design AG was awarded the GM Corporation‘s QSP award for the first time ever this year. These awards are made each year to GM‘s best suppliers. By this stage, turnover was just below the DM 200 million mark, meaning that it had almost doubled since to 1989.

1993 The new buildings in the Steinauer Straße, Petersberg, and in Eisenach were moved into at the beginning of the year. In Ingolstadt, EDAG Engineering + Design AG purchased real estate at Robert-Bosch-Str. 11 + 7a, with an office building and a factory workshop for model and prototype construction (total surface area: 4,800 m²). 16 17

EDAG S.A.R.L. was founded in Paris, France, on 23.12.1993; a wholly owned subsidiary of EDAG, with share capital of FF 250,000.00.

1994 In order to be represented in Detroit, the birthplace of automotive mass production and literally THE automobile city, EDAG Inc. was founded on 22.3.1994, with share capital of USD 60,000.00.

1995 This year, turnover stood at over DM 1/4 billion. EDAG Engineering + Design AG invested about DM 10 million of this CAD systems, and some DM 15 million in buildings and machinery (including one 630-tonne and one 1250-tonne press in Eisenach). Office space in Munich was increased by renting 2,000 m² in the building previously belonging to Schneider, the publishing house. In 1995, the workforce grew from approx. 1,200 to 1,450.

1996 On account of the positive business developments in Eisenach, EDAG Engineering + Design AG purchased a further 10,600 m² of land and a first CO2 laser for material processing. In Ingolstadt, too, lack of space led to a 2,560 m² extension of the plant‘s factory, to ensure that there was enough room for the 800-tonne press that had been purchased, as well as for a laser cutting system. As a result of the growing importance of the foreign markets for enginee- ring services, new activities were initiated in North and South America, (USA, , Brazil, Argentina), South Africa and Asia (). Turnover was just under DM 300 million. At the same time, some DM 25 million was invested in CAD systems, machines and plant, and in construction work on existing and new buildings.

1997 1997 can be described as the „Year of Expansion“. 350 new employees were acquired throughout the company. For the first time ever, the total number of employees rose to over 2,000. Compared to the previous year, turnover rose by over 16% to DM 350 million. In Fulda, the purchase of a laser sintering plant further expanded the range of rapid prototyping services offered by the model and prototype construction departments. On 7.2.1997, on account of the favourable order situation in Portugal, we founded another foreign subsidiary wholly owned by EDAG, the EDAG Portuguesa Lda. The branch was managed by Mr Achim Hauss. In England, a second office was opened in Warwick, in addition to the existing office in Witham, Essex. 18 19

1998 On 7.3.1998, EDAG Holding Sdn. Bhd. was founded in , Malaysia, another wholly owned subsidiary of EDAG. Mr Istvan Hegedüs was the office manager. In order to ensure that greater model and prototype construction capacities would be available for VW, a second production site, with a total area of approx. 2,500 m², was set up in Wolfsburg-Heinenkamp. This led to the creation of 50 new jobs. For the first time ever, as part of the newly created human resources development concept, EDAG ran a management training programme for 160 members of staff. At the end of the year, staff were given the opportunity to purchase partnership shares in EDAG, and thus become directly involved in the success of the company. With a turnover of more than DM 400 million, worldwide investments amounted to some DM 65 million. 1999 In Melbourne, Australia, the company FUTURE DESIGN (model construc- tion + body design) with a staff of approx. 90, was acquired on 1.1.1999. The Detroit branch was extended on 11.1.1999, to include a production site in Spartanburg. For the first time in the history of the company, EDAG presented a concept car, the „EDAG Scout“, at the prestigious , underscoring its reputation as an innovative engineering company. EDAG received the QSTP Award from the GM Corporation for the 7th time in a row. The IAA 1999 in Frankfurt saw the world premiere of the „EDAG Holospace“ a milestone in virtual reality. 20 21 A milling centre was established in Eisenach this year. In February, a new communications centre and factory workshop for the construction of prototypes was completed in the Steinauer Straße in Fulda. EDAG Kft., another foreign subsidiary wholly owned by EDAG, was founded in Györ, Hungary. The office is managed by Istvan Hegedüs. In August, EDAG acquired a controlling interest in WMU (Weser-Metall- Umformtechnik GmbH), adding the production of series tools and pressed parts to its range of products and services. EDAG opened its first branch office in New Delhi (), so the company was now present on the growth market of South East Asia. The EDAG Group celebrates 30 years of company history. This year, we welcomed EDAG‘s 2,000th employee.

2000 World premiere of the „EDAG 2000“ concept car at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle demonstrated how the „one box concept“ could be transferred to the classical saloon car segment. Just one year later, the number of employees passes the 3,000 mark. 22 23

2001 On 1.1.2001, business economist, Mr Rainer Gössmann, was appointed to the Board of Directors. He was in charge of the Production Equipment, Plant Engineering and Sales Division. In cooperation with the other directors, Ewald Vollmer and Helmut Weiser, he was instrumental in the success of EDAG – now with a workforce of over 3,400. The EDAG Group successfully completed its largest vehicle development project so far, the „S203“: between 1997 and 2001, EDAG took on full responsibility for the entire development of the Mercedes C-Class estate model for its customer, DaimlerChrysler. EDAG built a 10,500 m² production hall at the Fulda-West site. It was now possible to pre-assemble complete production plants and test them under realistic conditions. The exclusive sports car „Keinath GT/C“ was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The entire exterior, much admired for its effective combination of classical and modern elements, was created by the EDAG design team. 2002 Ewald Vollmer died on 15th March 2002, following a brief but serious illness. An outstanding engineer and businessman, for over 30 years he played a significant role in shaping eckard design/EDAG, assisting the company on its way to becoming the world‘s largest engineering service provider. In his capacity of Managing Director, he was respon- sible for EDAG‘s success from 1992 until his death. With the other principal shareholders, Franz Frohn- apfel and Peter Heil, he succeeded in turning EDAG into an internatio- nally acknowledged concern, while at the same time maintaining the relaxed atmosphere of a medium- sized firm. Among customers, too, his modesty and technical expertise earned Ewald Vollmer enormous acceptance and respect. We would like to take this oppor- tunity to honour his memory. 24 25

DaimlerChrysler commissioned the EDAG Group with the complete development of the Mercedes B-Class including prototype construction. Successfully completed in 2005, this project was to date the largest vehicle development project in the history of the company. The EDAG Tec-Center, a multi-disciplinary competence centre for product development, was founded at the head office in Fulda. At the Geneva Motor Show, EDAG presented its cabriolet study which was based on the Keinath GT/C.

2003 EDAG displayed foresight on the subject of lightweight construction, and became the principal sponsor in the HTO research project carried out by the Bavarian state government in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Ingolstadt. The result: the HTO concept car with a weight reduction of up to 25%, compared to a mass produced reference vehicle. Mr Matthias Topp (Dipl.-Ing.) was appointed to the Management as Ewald Vollmer‘s successor, in which position he took charge of Product Develop- ment, Model and Prototype Construction, IT and Corporate Development. The RedDot award was received for the „Cinema 7D“ concept car – an impressive acknowledgement of EDAG‘s great design competence.

2004 The Chinese company Changan Motors singled out EDAG, from all the European engineering companies, for a major vehicle development project. True to our motto „always close to our customers“, we then opened our first office in (). EDAG acquired a 100 % share in FFT (Flexible Fertigungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG). Founded in 1974, FFT is one of the leading plant construction com- panies for the . With this acquisition, EDAG is now in a position to offer not only engineering services, but also the implementation of complete production systems from one single source. EDAG acquired a (100%) controlling interest in SIGMA Concurrent Enginee- ring GmbH, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. The addition of SIGMA‘s core competencies such as concept development, design, strength calcula- tions, through to technical documentation and illustration for the aircraft structure and cabin enabled EDAG to continue its strategic expansion of its aerospace business unit. 26 27

The „genX“ concept car, a combination of sports car and conventional vehicle with an integral sleeping compartment, captivated visitors at the Geneva Motor Show. For the first time ever, the total number of employees rose to over 4,000.

2005 For the first time since the company was founded, EDAG was forced to undertake restructuring measures. The restructuring programme „EDAG 2010 – Fit for Future“ was introduced as a reaction to the declining economy. Sadly, we had to let some 375 employees go at this time. Dr. Klaus Blickle became the new CEO, taking over from Hemjö Klein, who had been holding the vacant position for just under six months until then. One of the first companies to supply the aerospace industry, ELAN – EDAG Lühmann Aeroengineering Network GmbH, the Aerospace business unit of EDAG Engineering + Design AG GmbH, was certified in accordance with the stringent requirements of the EN ISO 9100 standard. This was a central stipulation, without which we could not have become a category A strategic supplier. The 33rd branch office was opened in Fukuoka, , continuing the expansion of the EDAG Group in Asia. EDAG acquired its first development project in Russia. The cooperation with the Russian automotive supplier, Autokomponent Plant, which is based in Nizhyny Nowgorod, made EDAG one of the first western engineering partners to enter the Russian market. In , EDAG initiated the new apprenticed profession „technical product designer“, and took on 50 new apprentices. 28 29

The „Cinema 7D“ concept car presented to the public at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show received the red dot design award.

2006 For the first time ever, EDAG was present at two shows on two continents. The first time we participated in the Detroit Motor Show, two concept cars were presented to the public: a modified Pontiac Solstice and the „EDAG SUV 2005“, an impressive lifestyle-sports car, in cooperation with Rinspeed AG. Parallel to the Detroit Motor Show, EDAG was also attending its second Auto Expo in New Delhi, with yet another concept car, the „EDAG Show Car No. 8“. For the first Airbus plant outside of Europe, PCC (Prime Contactor Consortium), an association set up between Dürr AG and EDAG, was responsible for the complete Airbus A 320 assembly plant. EDAG gained a new, financially strong shareholder. ATON GmbH, Fulda, purchased 100% of the common stock from the families who founded EDAG Engineering + Design AG. In this way, EDAG acquired a financially sound shareholder geared to long-term considerations, who thinks and acts in an enterprising manner, and will closely follow and actively support the future development of the company. Having satisfied ‘s stringent quality, safety and environmental requirements, EDAG was consequently awarded the „Q1“ quality certificate. And then another honour: for the eleventh time, EDAG received the General Motors Supplier of the Year award. 30 31 EDAG was awarded a contract for the most unusual project in the company‘s history. The development and construction of six monumental sculptures to be displayed in Berlin as part of a nationwide image and regional campaign „Germany – Land of Ideas“ parallel to the FIFA World Cup. EDAG presented a new concept car, the EDAG Biwak, a vehicle derivative concept based on the Volkswagen New Beetle. EDAG received the „Top Automotive Employer 06/07“ award. Working and career conditions in the fields of innovation, pay, work-life balance, development opportunities, job security and corporate culture all came under close scrutiny.

2007 What about EDAG acquired the majority interest in the company AKTec Automobil- MŸhlenberg? und Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Hörselberg/Eisenach. The use of state- of-the-art production technologies such as long fibre injection (LFI) or 32 33

reaction injection moulding (RIM) technology in car interiors makes the company an in-demand partner for the European automotive industry, and rounds off to perfection EDAG‘s development and small-series competence for car bodies. At the start of the new school year, EDAG kicked off its new training campaign by doubling the number of apprenticeships available to 83, thus demonstrating the importance of training in the group. Dr. Jürgen Böhm became a member of the executive board of EDAG Engineering + Design AG, and, in his capacity as COO (Chief Operations Officer), took over the Production and IT Divisions. EDAG completed its first IT order in the aerospace industry, and supported DCA GmbH in the set-up and hosting of IT solutions. Following GHU GmbH (tyre wholesalers) and REFORM Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, DCA GmbH was the third company to use IT support provided by EDAG. There was a conspicuous change in the Fulda office. Following refur- bishing work, „Haus Kurfürst“ became the new head office and guest house of ATON GmbH and EDAG Engineering + Design AG. To the three existing EDAG divisions, Product Development and Production, Manufacturing Equipment and Aerospace, was added a fourth (HR Services), the newly established personnel service provider ED WORK GmbH & Co. KG. EDAG received the coveted „Innovative Company“ award. With its EDAG LUV concept car, EDAG defined a completely new concept, the luxury utility vehicle. EDAG received the „Top Innovator 2007“ award. EDAG continues to grow! Over 1,000 new jobs were created in 2007, increasing the number of EDAG Group employees to over 5,000 for the first time ever. 34 35

2008 The Executive Board was restructured. The previous directors, Dr. Klaus Blickle and Dr. Jürgen Böhm left the company, and the management of EDAG was taken over by Jörg Ohlsen, Manfred Hahl and Rainer Bauer. EDAG changed its legal form, to become an association limited by shares. This meant that the company‘s name changed to EDAG GmbH & Co. KGaA. EDAG acquired LÜHMAN Ingenieur AG, strengthening the position of the aerospace business unit, strategic engineering partner to the international aerospace industry. EDAG started a new initiative: „Family and Job“. This plan supplies child minders financed by EDAG to provide emergency child care, grants on the birth of a child, and supports part time work during and after parental leave. As part of the 2008 training campaign, 100 youngsters joined the EDAG Group to start their apprenticeships at the beginning of the new school year. 36 37

FFT EDAG Produktionssysteme was presented with the National Supplier Award by Mercedes Benz, South Africa, and, for the twelfth time, the General Motors QSP Supplier of the Year Award. The end of the year saw the successful completion of the full develop- ment project for the new Opel Meriva. For the first time in Opel‘s history, an external engineering partner was given complete charge of and responsibility for the development of a new vehicle type. For the second time, EDAG received the Top Automotive Employer award, this time for 2008/2009. 2009 In just 13 months, EDAG and Dürr designed, built and handed over a turn-key assembly line for the Airbus A 320 in Tianjin, China. At the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the EDAG Group presented the „EDAG Light Car – Open Source“, which received more attention than any other concept car at the show. What made the vehicle so impressive was the combination of a new, O(LED)-based lighting concept, the use of basalt fibre, a new, potential lightweight material, and a monovalent electric drive system. The EDAG Group is celebrating 40 years of existence with festivities for the staff and their families in Fulda and at other sites in Germany and abroad. With over 5,800 employees (in 2008) and an annual turnover (in 2008) of more than EURO 700 million, EDAG is the largest independent engineering company within the mobility industry. 4 6
