Objectives Registration of New voters for Assembly election 2018 as well as for parliament election in 2019. For enhanced electoral participation for the coming assembly and parliament election. To ensure informed and inducement free voting. Overall increase in turnout by at least 5-10% over the last assembly & parliament election. Awareness of EVM/VVPAT among all voters. Awareness in remote, slums and target areas. Increase in postal voting by facilitation. To remove the gender gap in turnout. To target on increase in voter turnout in the identified low turnout P.S. Facilitation of the voters. Accessible election for PWDs. B. Situation Analysis In AC 02 Manendragarh number of male voters had been reduced by 1242 due to shutting down of the coal mines of the area, specifically in Charcha and Chirmiri coal mine area. Third gender voters have also been reduced to 4 from 91 due to migration. Voter turnout percentage has been reduced from 77.05% in Assembly elections 2013 to 75.73% in Parliament elections 2014. In 84 polling stations the voter turnout percentage was way lesser as compared to the overall district average due to the distance which people had to cover to caste their votes. 18+ voter registration in bharatpur-sonhat, manendragarh and baikunthpur was 91.78%, 90.17% and 93.63% respectively. 20-29 age groups registration in bharatpur-sonhat, manendragarh and baikunthpur was 88.36, 94.49 and 87.51 respectively. The voter turnout ratio is lesser in either urban areas or remote hilly rural areas.
