Unlike other events, this race sees pilots racing directly against each other to be the first to cross the finish line after eight laps around a tight circuit. The 2017 World Cup of Air Racing will be held in Thailand on 17-19 November at the U-Tapao Airport, south of Bangkok. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Tourism & Sport of Thailand and is supported by the highest levels of government, including the Royal Thai Navy.
