St. Augusne is a city on the northeast coast of Florida. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlanc Ocean beaches.

Stuart is a city on Florida's Atlanc Coast. The House of Refuge at Gilbert's Bar is a restored home once used as a haven for shipwrecked sailors in the 1900s. Stuart Heritage Museum has local history displays, including furniture from early pioneer homes.

Vero Beach is a small Florida city, with Atlanc-facing beaches on a barrier island across the Indian River Lagoon. Park offers wide sands and volleyball courts. Downtown’s South Beach Park chronicles the local citrus industry. On the outskirts, McKee Botanical Garden has tropical plants and water lily–filled streams. Large, oceanfront Red Reef Park is home to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center with trails, a buerfly garden and a sea turtle sanctuary. Downtown, has modern and contemporary American and European collecons, and a sculpture garden. Nearby Amphitheater hosts concerts and events.

Fort Pierce is a city on the east coast of Florida. The oceanfront Naonal Navy SEAL Museum displays weapons, vehicles and other naval arfacts. Nearby, Fort Pierce Inlet State Park has a long beach, where swimming and surfing are popular.

Pompano Beach is a Florida city just north of Fort Lauderdale. It’s known for its beaches, marinas and offshore coral reef, plus numerous wrecks and other dive sites. The long Pompano Beach Pier stretches into the Atlanc Ocean. North, along the shore, the 1900s Hillsboro Lighthouse guards the Hillsboro Inlet, an entrance to the Intracoastal Waterway. Pompano Community Park has tennis courts and an amphitheater.

Gainesville is a city in northern Florida. It's known for the University of Florida. Set on the sprawling campus, the Florida Museum of Natural History houses fossils and ethnographic exhibits. It includes the Buerfly Rainforest, home to hundreds of free-flying buerflies and birds. Harn Museum of Art, the Matheson History Museum.

Lake City is the county seat of Columbia County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city's populaon was 12,046. It is the principal city of the Lake City Micropolitan Stascal Area, which is composed of Columbia County, and had a 2010 populaon of 67,531.

Ocala is a city in central Florida. East of downtown, Fort King Naonal Historic Park was an important Second Seminole War site. The waters of Silver Springs State Park are doed with kayaks and glass- boom boats. The park is also the gateway to the woods and lakes of the vast Ocala Naonal Forest to the east. DeLand is a city in the U.S. state of Florida. It is the county seat of Volusia County. The city sits approximately 34 miles north of the central business district of Orlando, and approximately 23 miles west of the central business district of Daytona Beach.

Winter Haven is a city in central Florida, known for its canal-linked Chain of Lakes. Several lakes have waterside parks and eateries, as well as boat ramps and water-sports rentals. On Lake Eloise, Legoland Florida Resort includes Cypress Gardens, a 1930s botanical garden, and Lego-brick aracons, rides and a water park. West of the city, Circle B Bar Reserve has forest trails and alligator-inhabited wetlands.

Busch Gardens is an African-themed amusement park with thrill rides and animal-viewing areas. The historic Ybor City neighborhood, developed by Cuban and Spanish cigar-factory workers at the turn of the 20th century, is a dining and nightlife desnaon.

Sarasota is a city south of Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast that was once the winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Today, it hosts several cultural instutes, notably the Ringling Museum of Art, which showcases old masters and modern art. It’s also the gateway to miles of beaches with fine sand and shallow waters, such as Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach.

Punta Gorda is a city in Charloe County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census the city had a populaon of 16,641. It is the county seat of Charloe County and the only incorporated municipality in the county.

The 1970s Capitol tower offers city views from its 22nd- floor observaon deck. Nearby, exhibits at the Museum of Florida History cover European colonizaon, the Civil War and WWII. The city's antebellum mansions include the 1843 Kno House Museum. Marathon is a city in the Florida Keys. It's set on 13 islands, known for their beaches and barrier reef. Loggerhead turtles’ nest at Coco Plum Beach and Sombrero Beach. Curry Hammock State Park has a sandy shoreline and mangrove creek. The Dolphin Research Center offers interacve demos in a shallow lagoon. Near the City Marina, Crane Point features a tropical forest, bird-rescue center and natural history museum.
