Minutes of the Planning Committee held remotely via the Zoom platform on 30 June 2020

The meeting started at 7:05pm

PRESENT: Councillors Ali, Baker, Beeston, Flores, Marbrow, Moore and Rowlinson and the Clerk. Councillor Hamblett attended as a non- Committee member.

20/23 Minutes of the previous meeting It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on the 18 May 2020, copies of which had been circulated to all Committee members.

20/24 Public Participation As there was no representation from members of the public present, the meeting continued to the next item without need for an adjournment.

20/25 Planning applications Consideration was given to the following applications for planning permission, which had been received from Oldham MBC. It was RESOLVED that the Council’s recommendation be:-

20/26 Training requirements Following consideration of a range of planning-related matters (standards, examples and protocols), it was agreed that the Clerk requests a good quality and complex planning application from OMBC for Committee to review in order to better understand the content and considerations made by Planning Officers when determining an application.
