Mr. Behrendt feels that there would be a significant price savings if they provided their own fuel. They would be an independent fuel provider and would consider selling fuel to third parties. - Skycare tried to get an account with Imperial Oil and were unsuccessful. Minutes: The minutes from the May 1, 2012 were adopted as amended. - Change the Bearskin Charity Golf date from June 12th to June 21St. Business Arising: Old Business: - We received new drawings from Keewatin Aski. A simpler design would consist of the problem drainage area be split and half would drain under the taxiway and the other half would drain under the access road and into the ditch. We are waiting for a cost estimate. - A total of 6 plow truck tenders were received. The Airport Manager is going through the bidding process with Transport Canada. - The strategic plan meeting date will be deferred to the August meeting. Celebrating our Centennial in 2012! Airport Managers Report Addition: - The Commission is pleased that the airport has their own certified welder which will be very beneficial to the airport. THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIOUX LOOKOUT BY-LAW NO. 07-07 BEING A BY-LAW TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMITTEES WHEREAS Section 8 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, grants a municipality the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority under this ()r any other Act; and n WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Sioux Lookout "-.--' deems it advisable to make appointments to various Boards and Committees; and WHEREAS making appointments to various Boards and Committees is deemed to be a natural person power; and WHEREAS Municipal Policy No. 1-3, Sec. 3.1.4 (b) states that appointments to Boards and Committees, shall be made no later than the regularly-scheduled meeting of January following an election year; and WHEREAS Subsection 5(3) of the Municipal Act requires that all municipal powers, including natural person powers, are exercised by by-law; NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIOUX LOOKOUT ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Treasury Metals Revised EIS Report Goliath Gold Project August 2017 APPENDIX T SOCIO-ECONOMIC TC160516 Treasury Metals Revised EIS Report Goliath Gold Project August 2017 NOTE TO READER APPENDIX T In April 2015, Treasury Metals submitted an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Goliath Gold Project (the Project) to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) for consideration under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA), 2012. The Agency reviewed the submission and informed Treasury Metals that the requirements of the EIS Guidelines for the Project were met and that the Agency would begin its technical review of the submission. In June 2015, the Agency issued a series of information requests to Treasury Metals regarding the EIS and supporting appendices (referred to herein as the Round 1 information requests). The Round 1 information requests included questions from the Agency, other federal and provincial reviewers, First Nations and other Aboriginal peoples, as well as interested stakeholders. As part of the Round 1 information request process, the Agency requested that Treasury Metals consolidate the responses to the information requests into a revised EIS for the Project. Appendix T to the revised EIS (Socio-Economic) presents the results of the study on current social and economic profiles of municipalities and First Nations in the study area, describing the baseline socio-economic conditions. The information presented in this appendix was used for describing the existing conditions for land use (Section 5.12.1 of the revised EIS), social factors (Section 5.12.2 of the revised EIS), economic factors (Section 5.12.3 of the revised EIS), and Aboriginal peoples (Section 5.12.5 of the revised EIS).
