Since 1980, when we were formally known as the Happy Humpers, Edinburgh ShowTec has been best known for supplying crew for live events. From stadium concerts to intimate venue gigs we have the crew with the know how to load in, operate and load out your show in the smoothest and safest way possible.

Over the past three decades we have regularly crewed concerts at Edinburgh Castle, Murrayfield Stadium, the Usher Hall, The Edinburgh Playhouse, The Picture House, the Queens Hall, the Liquid Rooms and The Corn Exchange, to name a few.

The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bon Jovi, U2, Oasis, One Direction, Beyoncé and Adele are just some of the big names in music that we have worked with. Edinburgh ShowTec also crew all of the stages at Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations and supplied all of the crew for the MTV Europe Music Awards when it was hosted in the capital and again when it was hosted in Malta. Every year we also supply crew to The Edinburgh International Festival.

We also service corporate and special events throughout the UK and globally. From small AV presentations to large multi venue conferences, we have done it all. For your corporate or social event we can supply lighting, AV, stage crew, set builders, onsite technicians, vehicle and plant hire. All of our crew are presentable, punctual and highly experienced so you can be confident that your event will be a success.

Concerts. Edinburgh ShowTec is the leading supplier of skilled crew to concerts in Edinburgh. We have been since 1980! Over 38 years we have developed an unrivalled wealth of experience crewing concerts and live events throughout Scotland, the UK and internationally.

Edinburgh ShowTec has been the cogs driving concerts at venues across the capital including the Usher Hall, The Playhouse, the Queens Hall, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Castle, the Liquid Rooms, The Corn Exchange and the Ross Bandstand. We've provided crew for some of the world's biggest bands and artists including The Rolling Stones, One Direction, Madonna, U2 and Beyoncé, to name just a few.

We have also developed excellent relationships with Scotland's classical music scene, frequently supplying crew to The Royal Scottish National Orchestra and also to The Scottish Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. We are always excited to work with The Edinburgh International Festival each August and supply crew to the many Internationally renowned orchestras they bring to the Usher Hall.

It's not just concerts, we specialise in all events no matter how big or small. From weddings to gala dinners to private parties, our team apply the same creative and technical skills to producing stunning ambience for your special event as we would for some of the world's biggest music acts!

Our talented team of technicians will work with you to create your perfect event. From theme lighting, staging, LED dance floors, sound and AV equipment, all of our special events are unique and individually tailored to your requirements.

We work with large blue chip clients to small businesses and individuals, so whatever your requirements are, we promise the same level of expertise, service and attention to detail. Whether it's a stately home, castle, marquee, hotel or your home, we are able to transform any venue, creating an immersive atmosphere for your guests to make your special event one to remember!

Corporate.

Edinburgh ShowTec supply crew, onsite technicians, lighting and AV for conferences, awards shows, product launches and exhibition installations. Working with both corporate clients and not for profit organisations we provide a professional service to meet all of your technical event requirements.

We can provide our lighting, sound, display and staging equipment on a dry hire or on a fully managed basis. No matter what the venue or your vision is, our passion is in transforming venues through creative use of light and sound.

As well as our team's wealth of knowledge, our crew are presentable, punctual and highly experienced at making your event a success.
