9 14 CREW BIOS JEN RYLE (Director) is OFT’s co-founder and Artistic Director. She works as the house manager and behind the scenes as the production manager for every show. For OFT Jen has directed; Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (2006, 2013, 2017), The Giver, Rapunzel, The BFG, Winnie the Pooh, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Phantom Tollbooth, Go, Dog. Go!, Lyle the Crocodile, Busytown, A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Year with Frog and Toad (2016), and Cinder Edna (2018). Jen is living her dream, watching OFT as it grows and fl ourishes. She feels so lucky to work with amazing people; actors, designers, technicians, business sponsors, and volunteers who are all passionate about sharing the magic of theater with our community.

DEANE SHELLMAN (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be stage managing again at OFT, adding Flora and Ulysses to her previous SM gigs: A Year with Frog and Toad; Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day; and Bunnicula. She also directed Goodnight Moon, Three Tales with Eight Tails, and Pinocchio. Elsewhere, she directed Silent Sky at Olympia Little Theater, Bicycle Noir: A Love Story at the Capitol Campus, and has been involved with the Northwest Playwright’s Alliance and various 24-hour play festivals, staged readings, and one-act showcases, over the years. But OFT feels like home - so happy to be back!

JILL CARTER (Lighting Design Mentor/Projections) is delighted to be OFT’s Resident Designer. She has years of experience in scenic, lighting, and projection designs, for a variety of theaters in the NW.
