Water cycles is controlled by pump in a closed loop between the upper and lower reservoirs, using surplus energy at times of low demand. During periods of high electrical demand, the stored water is released through turbines to produce electric power. The pumped-storage hydro power plant helps increase flexible dispatch, support Grid Modernization to maintain Energy security of the country. Status Under Operation Projects Capacity (MW) Trend 1.
