THE PARTNERS

Since its foundation in 1969, Collettivo di Urbanistica has been providing consultancy in the following areas: land and urban planning; socio-economic and environmental assessments; urban design and Geographic Information Systems. Architect Gianfranco Pagliettini and Architect Luca Pagliettini are its current partners.

Luca Pagliettini Born in in 1971; 1996 University Degree in Architecture at the Politecnico in ; 1993/94 Winner of the Erasmus scholarship. Certificate of attendance of the School of Architecture in Montpellier, ; 2000 Member of the Order of Landscape and Conservative Planning Architects of the ; Since 1996 he has been working for the Collettivo di Urbanistica . In charge of editing planning instruments for towns of different dimensions; 2002 attends in-depth course on Geographic Information Systems. The course involved data management and analysis, decision making, land and urban planning, spatial and environmental analysis, advanced use of ESRI software; Starts a partnership with Studio SIT (Biella 1995) and with Studio Omnigis (Perugia 2002) for the computerization of planning instruments and the realization of a GIS (Software ArcView, ArcGis, Mapinfo Professional); Member of the National Institute of Urbanism since 1996; 1996/98 member of the “Inu Alpi” National Committee. Takes part in the drafting of the report “ and sustainable development”; 2002/03 member of the INU National Committee for the Geographic Information Systems; 1999/01 member of the Building Committee of the Municipality of Colorno (Province of Parma); 1999/09 leads the project in Participatory Planning, promoted by several municipalities, called “Students plan their own town”; 1998 collaborates with Ervet, an institution for the economic enhancement of the territory, in the realization of a territorial multimedia information system of the industrial areas of the region ; Writes on magazines specialized in town and city planning

Gianfranco Pagliettini Born in Moneglia (Genova) in 1942. 1966 university degree in Architecture at the Politecnico in Milan. 1966/69 collaborates with Tekne Company in Milan. 1969 in charge of the professional studio Collettivo di Urbanistica in parma. 1971 member of the Chamber of Architects of Parma province 1971 enrolled in the national register of experts in territorial planning. 1980/88 member of the Advisory Committee in charge of the planning system of the region Emilia Romagna. 1985/93 chairman of Orbis, the Center for International Studies on Territorial Administration, and organizer of conferences and seminars. 1993 Appointed professor for the course “Relationship between geology and urban planning” 1985/04 Board member of the National Institute for Urbanism 1990/97 president of the national INU committee for the European Integration Member of the Scientific committee of Urbanistica magazine. 1997/08 CEO and then president of the publisher INU Edizioni. Lecturer of urban environment and land policies at conferences and seminars in Italy and abroad organized by universities, professional and cultural associations and public institutions. 1990/92 Scientific consultant for the Ministry of Community policies in occasion of the EEC conferences of the land planning ministers (CEMAT). 1996 founder of the PIWP (Permanent International Working Party). 1997 organizer, in , of the first edition of Rassegna Urbanistica Europea and of the Biennal of towns and planners in . 1999, 2001 and 2003: contributor to the realization of Biennal of towns and planners in Europe in Dusseldorf, Rotterdam, Barcelona. Member of the European Council of Urbanists since 1996. 1980/85 project leader in the revision of the law of urbanism for the region Emilia Romagna. 1993/94 project leader in the drafting of the new law of urbanism for Emilia Romagna. 1997/98 group leader of the task force in charge of reporting over the status of the land and urban planning in Emilia Romagna. 1992 partnership with Studio TAD in Paris for the survey “L’impact de l’Evolution des Pays Sud et Est Mèditerranéens sur l’Amenagement du Territoire Communautaire” committed by UE - D.G. XVI (Direction Generale des Politiques Regionales) 1990/91 partnership with Studio Ecodev Conseil in paris for the survey “Les Rèseaux de villes en Europe - diagnostic et èvaluation du fonctionnement d’expèriences italiennes” committed by DATAR.
