You can get help from different groups which support people to find, set up and keep living in suitable accommodation. They can help you avoid eviction or lose your accommodation as well as support people in temporary accommodation. If you live in the south-west of Edinburgh Including Colinton, Fairmilehead, Fountainbridge, Craiglockhart, Sighthill, Gorgie, Currie, Juniper Green, Craiglockhart You can get help from Four Square which is a partnership between Four Square and CHAI. If you are homeless, we will visit and help you with your situation. We also help if you are having or about to have difficulties with your housing but are not yet homeless. If you live in other areas of Edinburgh (for all areas in the north-west, north-east or south-east the city) If you are aged 16 years or over, you can get help from Your Home which is a partnership between Ypeople and Sacro. If you are homeless or in danger of losing your home, we’ll give help you with your situation. We can help you to find, set up and continue to live in accommodation which suits you. We will also help you to avoid being evicted or losing your accommodation as well as help you to prepare for accommodation and make sure you keep your tenancy. We also work with groups of people, mediate and give other kinds of support which help people avoid having difficulty with their housing. If you have complex needs If you are recovering from homelessness, living with the effects of trauma or facing other difficulties such as addictions or poor mental health, we can help you to recover and enjoy your home. Our specialist team which works with people who have complex needs like this and who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We will visit you and give both practical and emotional support. Our aim is to help you have more stability in your life and avoid having any difficulties with housing in future.
