Riding along the river Oglio bike path

Ride through the Franciacorta vineyard surrounded by the mountains that protect the area and make it famous for its wines, the green fields and the lines between Lake Iseo and the Sebino peat land. We will come across the “Gimondi Bike” track , going through villages, wine farms, castles and wine cellars, tasting the worldwide famous Franciacorta bubbly.

A certified MTB Guide and transfer by authorized van for non-scheduled public transport- NCC same as taxi for people and bikes will be at your disposal. Lunch at a restaurant or farmhouse if you wish, and Franciacorta Grappa tasting at the end of the tour.

Lenght and challenge:

One-day trip: easy route mostly on a dirt road and through vineyards; riding skills required.

Two or more days if matched with the trips along the river Oglio bike path “ From Camonica Valley to Franciacorta”. In this case, you will go on riding from your accommodation, joining the trips of the previous days- Along the lake and Montisola, Middle Camonica Valley, High Camonica Valley.

Period:

All year long unless it snows. Departure time to be agreed on according to pick-up points. Approximately at 9 am from Lovere and within 15 km. At about 8 am from your accommodation within 50 km.

What to know:

Two fares available according to pick- up and drop off points at the end of the day, in order to avoid parking problems. • Pick-up at the airport or your accommodation • Departure from Lovere and within 15 km (e.g.: Pisogne, Boario Terme, Solto Collina, Riva di Solto).

• Departure from Lovere and within 50 km (e.g. : Bergamo, Brescia, Val di Scalve or Val Seriana)

3. Trek X-Caliber 8 bikes and two E-bikes Trek included in the offer. For any further E-bike price will be provided on request.

4. Compulsory helmet.

For overnight stay, dinner and breakfast, if you add other trips from the Tour leaving “from Tonale Pass up to Franciacorta”, we will provide you with details about logistics according to your needs so that you will be able to book accommodation on your own or with of one of our trusted agencies.

The offer includes:

• Transfer by authorized van for non-scheduled public transport. NCC as taxi, people and bikes, all transfers as planned. • Certified MTB Guide. • Trek X-Caliber 8 bikes and two E-Bikes Trek Powerfly 5+. For E-Bikes exceeding the two already included in the offer price will be provided on request. • Helmet and lights. • Franciacorta Grappa tasting at the end of the tour, underage excluded. • Bike loading and unloading if you wish to take your own bikes.

The offer does not include:

• Lunch : we may stop at a typical Italian trattoria, farmhouse or restaurants and taste local dishes or at a rest area for a picnic along the way. • E-Bikes exceeding the two already included in the offer.

10% family discount only for children aged from 14 to 18 years old.
