Netjerkare Siptah (also Neitiqerty Siptah and possibly at the origin of the legendary figure Nitocris) was an Ancient Egyptian , the seventh and last ruler of the 6th Dynasty. Alternatively some scholars classify him as the first king of the combined 7th and 8th Dynasties.[2] As the last king of the 6th Dynasty, Netjerkare Siptah is considered by some Egyptologists to be the last king of the Old Kingdom period. Netjerkare Siptah (also Neitiqerty Siptah and possibly at the origin of the legendary figure Nitocris) was an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh, the seventh and last ruler of the Sixth Dynasty. Alternatively some scholars classify him as the first king of the Seventh or Eighth Dynasty. Netjerkare Siptah enjoyed a short reign in the early 22nd century BC, at a time when the Netjerkare Siptah was an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh, the seventh and last ruler of the 6th Dynasty.
