For best taste we suggest the pot is left to infuse for 4-5 minutes. Teas are served with a choice of milk (whole, skimmed or semi-skimmed)or sliced lemon English Breakfast A special blend of Golden Broken Orange Pekoe is used in the traditional ‘orthodox’ way where the leaves are rolled to release the flavour. The taste is full-bodied, rich and refreshing, with a bright inviting colour. Assam (India) The flavour is rich with a distinctive malty taste, grown in the Brahmaputra Valley in north-east India Darjeeling (India) Known as ‘the champagne of teas’, This tea is selected from the highest gardens in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains at the peak of the growing season when the tea is at its best. A rich aroma with hints of muscatel. Ceylon (Sir Lanka) The best highland tea gardens of the ‘Scented Isle’ yield mellow, golden teas with an aromatic bouquet. from estates in the Dimbula region, where in the cool clean air the tea bushes grow more slowly, producing a fine quality crop with a delicate flavour and rosy colour. Earl Grey Made with the finest quality black China Congou leaf blends with the essential oils of the bergamot fruit, which has a fresh, citrus flavour. This combination creates one of the worlds most elegant and well- known speciality teas Lapsong Souchong (China) A speciality of the Fujian Province of China. The leaves are rolled and dried, then placed into bamboo baskets and smoked over wood fires. This imparts the distinctive smoky aroma - often an acquired taste! Chameleon (China Green Tea) The best quality comes from Fujian Province where Flowery Orange Pekoe leaf tea is mixed with freshly opened jasmine flowers, and left overnight to allow the tea to absorb the scent of jasmine. The flavour is light and sweet with a subtle perfume. Peppermint (Tisane) The natural peppermint leaves have a delightful fresh, clean flavour that makes a soothing infusion at any time of the day. Chamomile (Tisane) Chamomile is appreciated by many for its comforting, soothing taste and delicate aroma.
