Conference Venue Palazzo Feltrinelli Via Castello 3 25084 Gargnano (Brescia), Italy Tel: +39 0365 72693 Fax: +39 0365 72832 Palazzo Feltrinelli is a beautiful historical Villa by Lake Garda, which is now owned by the University of Milan and dedicated to Workshop and Meeting activities. The Villa includes a main hall, two lecture halls, a restaurant, single/double rooms, as well as all facilities intended to make your stay pleasant. A photocopy machine and an overhead projector will be freely available at Palazzo Feltrinelli. Please note, instead, that PCs with emails, internet and printing facilities will not be available during the conference. Accommodation and meals from dinner on Sunday to lunch on Tuesday will be provided to all participants at the conference venue. Directions Foreign participants are advised to travel either to Milano or Brescia. Milano can be reached by plane from most countries or directly by train from European countries. People arriving by plane at Malpensa airport (http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/malpensa/), where most overseas flights land, can take the Malpensa Shuttle (http://www.malpensashuttle.it) to Milano Centrale Railway Station (50 minutes, € 5,50) or the Malpensa Express train (http://www.malpensaexpress.it) to Milano Cadorna (40 minutes, € 11) and then the underground to Milano Centrale Railway Station (green line, 5 stops, 20 minutes, € 1). People arriving by plane at Orio al Serio airport (Bergamo, http://www.sacbo.it), where most low-cost flights land, can reach either Milano Centrale Railway Station by bus (€ 6,90) or Brescia Railway Station (€ 10) in about one hour. Please be advised that the bus leaves Orio al Serio airport for Brescia only at 8:30, 11:15, 16:00, 8:30, 22:00 (http://www.sacbo.it/Editorial/newsCategoryViewProcess.jsp?editorialID=171). People arriving by plane at Linate Airport (http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/linate) can reach Milano Centrale Railway Station in about 20 minutes by bus (€ 3) or by taxi (€ 15/20). People arriving at Brescia Airport (http://www.aeroportobrescia.it/), where Ryanair flights land, can reach Brescia Railway Station by bus (€ 7,50) in about 30 minutes (http://www.cgabrescia.it/agg2909/Brescia/Brescia2008.pdf). The timetable of buses departing from all airports to Milano Centrale Railway Station can be downloaded from: http://www.autostradale.it/interna.aspx?gr=2&sez=60&sot=2. Gargnano can be reached from Milano Centrale Railway Station by train + bus, and from Brescia Railway Station by bus. A train should be taken from Milano Centrale to Brescia. A timetable of trains can be downloaded from: http://www.trenitalia.com. A bus should be taken from Brescia to Gargnano. The bus station in Brescia is just outside the Brescia Railway Station, on the left and there is a SIA sign. Buses leave Brescia for Gargnano about every hour. The timetable of buses departing from Brescia to Gargnano on Sunday is the following: 8:05, 8:45, 9.00, 10.00, 11:10, 12:10, 13:15, 14:10, 15:10, 16:10, 17:10, 18:10.
