Lt Cdr Hasanujjaman, (NO), BCGM, psc, BN was commissioned on 20 Dec 2001 in Executive Branch with Best in Academic Award OSMANI GOLD MEDAL. He has undergone number of courses. He attended Junior Staff Course (JSC) in and Staff Course from Defense Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC). He is a Navigation and Direction (ND) specialist. He did Principal Warfare Officer Course (PWO) from School of Maritime Warfare and Tactics (SMWT) and Air Defense Weapon Controller course (ADWC) from FCTU, , Indian Ocean Regional Exclusive Economic Zone Course (lOR EEZ) from Maritime Warfare School United Kingdom. Lt Cdr Hasan did UN Mission in MINURSO (Western Sahara as UNMO and appointed there as S02 OPS2 (ALO) in Joint Operation Centre (JOC). During that time, he attended Patrol Leader Qualification Course (PLQ), Air Terminal officer course (ATO) and 22 in numbers UN Courses from Peace Operation Training Institute; as Global Terrorism, International Humanitarian Law and the law of armed conflict, Civil Military Coordination (CIMIC), UNMO, Peacekeeping and International conflict Resolution, Gender Perspective in UN peacekeeping Operation, Ethics in Peacekeeping, Conduct of Humanitarian Relief Operations etc. He has been awarded with UN MEDAL from the Secretary General of United Nations in 2010. He did MBA (Marketing) from IBA of Khulna University and MDS from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He has commanded two Warship (Patrol Craft); BNS SHAHEED AKHT ARUDDIN and BNS DHANSHIRI. The officer has served in various appointments onboard different categories of Navy ships and Base. He served as Executive Officer onboard BNS SHANGU, BNS DAULAT and Navigating officer onboard BNS ABU BAKR, BNS MADHUMATI and BNS FARID. He has also served as Staff officer (operations) to COMBAN, Staff officer (operations) to Zonal Commander of Coast Guard West Zone, Commanding officer Coast Guard Base and Khulna BNCC (Naval Wing) and Instructor Navigation in Navigation Direction School. He has served as Executive Officer of Navy Base BNS Mongla and Coast Guard Base Chittagong. He has been awarded with Bangladesh Coast Guard Medal (BCGM) from Honorable Prime Minister and Letter of Appreciation from Director General Bangladesh Coast Guard. He has served as Officer In-Charge (OIC) Seamanship School of Bangl.adeshNavy. He has vast experience in ocean navigation as Navigator from China to Sri Lanka (Yellow Sea, South China Sea, North China Sea, Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean). He has undergone number of courses from National Academy for Planning and Development (NAPO), named as; Transparency, Accountability and Good Governance, Financial and Economic Appraisal of Project, E-Governance for Sustainable Oevelopment, Leadership and Strategic Planning. He did Project Management Short Course from BSMRMU. He has participated at Disaster Response and Exchange Exercise (OREE) Bangladesh 2009, where focus was Earthquake Disaster Management and Webinar of BIMRAD on the theme 'Climate Change Impacts in the Bay of Bengal: Vulnerabilities and Adaptation Options'. He has attended the course of UNODC on International Drug Policy Training and Policy development for Illegal migration. He has the experience of attending Maritime Domain Awareness Seminar of at SMWT number of times. He has two research papers in his credit. He has travelled Myanmar, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Singapore, China, Morocco, , UAE, Libya and Western Sahara. H~ is from Comilla. His father is Valliant Freedom fighter Abdul Ohid Khan (Lal Muktibarta Serial No 204020399). He is happily married with Dr. Farhana Rahman and blessed with two sons. He is an enthusiastic Golfer and Tennis player. ~
