Hun komst maakt deel uit van een Europese tournee. Het zal de kassa van de heren opnieuw doen rinkelen. De meeste mensen kennen Take That van Robbie Williams, maar die stapte in al uit de boyband om na een korte terugkeer in weg te blijven. Ook mede-bandlid Jason Orange gaf er een aantal jaar geleden de brui aan. De overige drie mannen staan in juni op het podium van Afas Live in Amsterdam. Met de populaire Williams in hun gelederen verdiende Take That veel geld tijdens hun Progress Tour in Forbes schatte de opbrengst van die comeback op omgerekend 58 miljoen euro. Kan dat wel, een Take That-tour zonder Williams? Toch denkt hij, 'hoewel het mijn muziek niet is', dat ook deze comeback een succes gaat worden. Daar gebruiken bands een slimme truc voor: altijd doen alsof je tour de allerlaatste tour ooit is. Hij trekt de vergelijking met de Rolling Stones. Als er één groep is waar om de zo veel jaar de revivalgeruchtenmachine van op hol slaat, dan is het wel de Spice Girls. De dames maakten eerder dit jaar bekend opnieuw op tournee te gaan. Alleen Victoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham doet niet mee. De andere vier krijgen naar verluidt ieder zo'n 13,5 miljoen euro. En dat voor slechts 13 concerten.
