Začetki povezovanja znanj in izkušenj

Osem let mineva, odkar sem pričela z odkrivanjem učinkov povezovanja in prenosa znanj. Prvi koraki so bili težki in med mnogimi sogovorniki ali stanovskimi kolegi ni bilo silnega navdušenja, saj so mi zagotavljali, da ti procesi potekajo že nekaj let in so stalna praksa. Informacije iz različnih virov so me res usmerjale k spoznanju, da poteka mnogo projektov in sodelovanj, vendar sem pozneje ugotovila, da so ta sodelovanja vzpostavljena zaradi različnih razpisov, ki so bili na voljo. Ko so se razpisi zaključili, je to zamrlo. Kakšna škoda! Nekaj, kar se je vzpostavilo in kjer so bili postavljeni bazični elementi, ki bi jim moral slediti razvoj, se je zaradi zaključka razpisa prenehalo?! Ostalo je napisano v obliki poročil in ta dokumentacija se je v skladu s pravili razpisov shranila ali objavila in to je to.

Pa vendar po drugi strani vsi ves čas ponavljamo, da so spremembe edina stalnica, gonilo razvoja, kreativnosti in poti k boljšemu življenju. Mar res ne moremo vzpostaviti trajnih programov, ki bi bili začrtani v strategiji, ki ni vzpostavljena za dve do štiri leta, temveč zagotavlja kontinuiteto in trajen razvoj? To je bilo vprašanje, ki sem si ga ves čas zastavljala. V nekem trenutku je prišlo do sprememb in preobratov. Pisalo se je leto 2012 in na enem od srečanj na mariborski univerzi sem imela priložnost, da navežem stik z nekaj direktorji. Večina je imela isti problem. Imeli so razvojne oddelke, vendar so ugotavljali, da ni bilo trajnih povezav med gospodarstvom in šolstvom. Vesela sem, da takrat niso dvomili vame, ko sem jim predstavila program Life Learning Academie, ki je v eni od aktivnosti »pokrival« ravno to vrzel. Prva sodelovanja so stekla in sledila so jim druga ter tudi novi projekti, ki so se kar odpirali in odpirali.

Zdaj smo globalna družina. Skupek organizacij in posameznikov, ki tlakujemo skupno pot. Ni vedno lahko, vendar smo skupaj močnejši, prodornejši in glasnejši. Stkale so se dobre poslovne vezi, ki nas navdihujejo takrat, ko omagujemo, ko mislimo, da bomo obstali. Ravno to je tisto, kar obravnavamo kot nov pristop in način sodelovanja. Želim si, da tako krepak tudi ostane, se širi in nadgrajuje. S hvaležnostjo za vse, kar se je zgradilo, preneslo in stkalo na novo, vas prijazno pozdravljam na tretjem Akademsko-gospodarskem kongresu (AEC), kjer bomo govorili ravno o tem, kakšni so učinki povezovanj.

The Beginnings of Knowledge and Experience Connection

It has been eight years since I first encountered the effects of knowledge connection and transfer. The first steps were anything but easy. Not many colleagues and others were enthusiastic about this, ensuring me that these processes had been going on for several years already and that this had already been common practice. Information from various sources led me to realize that these many projects and collaborations had actually been active, but I later realized that such collaborations had been established as an answer to various calls for tenders. Once the tenders were closed, the collaborations ended. What a shame! To end something that had been established and for which the basic elements had been laid down, and should have been followed by development?! The rest was written in the form of reports, and such documentation was either archived or published in accordance with the rules of the tenders. And that was all there was to it.

Yet, on the other hand, we are all emphasising that change is the only constant, the driving force of development, creativity and the way to a better life. Are we really unable to establish permanent programmes based not just on a two to four-year-long strategy but on a strategy that ensures continuity and permanent development? This was the question I was asking myself all the time.

But there was a certain moment when changes and turn-overs occurred. It was the year 2012. I received an opportunity to get into contact with some directors at a meeting at the University of . Most of them were facing the same problem. They had development departments, but were realizing that there were no permanent connections between business and the school system. I am really glad that they did not have any doubts about me when I presented the programme of the Life Learning Academia which covered this gap with one of its activities. The first collaborations started; they were followed by others and new projects began to open up.

We have become a global family. A group of organizations and individuals forming a common way. It is not always easy, but together we are strong, assertive and loud. We have made good business ties that inspire us when we start losing our strength, when we think we will stop. This is what we see as a new approach and method of collaboration. I hope it stays that strong, expands and upgrades also in the future.

Thankful for everything that has been built, transferred, newly formed, I am welcoming you to the third Academic Economic Congress (AEC) where we will talk about the effects of connections.

Vsak od vas je dragulj

Imam srečo, da na svojih poteh in med delom srečujem izjemne ljudi, tako izjemne, kot ste z vašim znanjem in izkušnjami tudi vi.

Srečanje z vsako osebo mi prinese v življenju nekaj novega. Prav od vsakega lahko nekaj izvem, se naučim, dobim nov pogled ali misel. Včasih se mogoče tega takoj niti ne zavedam. Imela sem srečo, da sem z uspešno poslovno žensko Thorayo Al Awadhi iz Dubaja sedela v krogu veličastnih žensk. Čeprav smo imele le klepet ob čaju, na katerem se nam je pridružila princesa, sicer v ožjem sorodu s šejkom, je bila v zraku energija, ki ti da krila, v besedah začutiš moč, ki rojeva nove ideje in projekte, ter v srcu raste želja, da želiš še več in novo. Zato je vsako srečanje – kot pravi sama beseda – sreča. Povezovanje med ljudmi, še več, povezovanje med državami pa ustvarja pretok bogastva znanj in izkušenj, ki so dosegljivi vsem, ki odprejo dlan.

Ker je vsak od vas dragulj, delite dragulje, jih ustvarjate in množite. To pomeni, da delamo naše okolje svetleče in cenjeno. Vse to je možno, ker imamo skupno smer in željo za razvoj ter izmenjavo znanja.

To pomeni, da ste vi del te zgodbe. Hvala, ker jo soustvarjate, podpirate, nesebično delite in si upate.

Each and every one of you is a gem

I am lucky to be able to meet exceptional people on my path of life and work. Exceptional, as you are, with your knowledge and experience.

Meeting new people always brings something special into my life. I can learn something, get a new perspective or thought from each and every one of them. Sometimes without even realizing. I was lucky enough to sit next to Thoraya Al Awadhi, a successful business woman from Dubai, at a gathering of spectacular women. Even though we only chatted over a cup of tea with the princess, who is related to the sheikh, you could feel a certain energy in the air. The words had a power, that can bring new ideas and projects to life. I always long for this feeling.

That is why every encounter is an opportunity you can – 'count' on. They bring people together and, moreover, channel wealth, knowledge and experience, that, by reaching many people, open doors to new opportunities.

Because each and every one of you is a gem, you also spread them, create and multiply them. This way we all make our world bright and precious. All of this is possible, because we have a joint goal, which is to develop and pass our knowledge to others.

You are also part of this story. Thank you for co-creating and supporting it. For unselfishly sharing and most of all daring.

AWESOMI – MREŽA TALENTOV ZA POVEZOVANJE PREKO ZNANJ IN DOSEŽKOV

Povzetek Awesomi je socialno omrežje, ki mladim omogoča boljši vstop na konkurenčni trg dela ob upoštevanju globalnih trendov na področju izobraževanja in zaposlovanja. Mladi se predstavijo s svojimi formalnimi in neformalnimi dosežki, sodelujejo v tematskih razpravah, delijo svoje znanje z uporabniki na globalni ravni ter zbirajo kompetenčne točke na podlagi medsebojnega ocenjevanja. Poudarek je na posameznikovih lastnih interpretacijah in argumentacijah, katere ostali uporabniki ocenjujejo in s tem pripoznajo kompetence pri posamezniku. V trikotniku uporabnikov omrežja Awesomi so poleg mladih talentov na eni strani še mentorji in na drugi potencialni zaposlovalci, ki si prizadevajo odkriti perspektivne kadre med mladimi.

Awesomi je bil zasnovan v okviru Start Up Chile, v enem izmed štirih vodilnih pospeševalnikov za startup podjetja na svetu. Po dveh letih tehničnega razvoja je Awesomi letos uspešno pričel s prvimi STEM izobraževalnimi projekti, ki jih izvaja v sodelovanju s slovenskim Zavodom 404, financira pa jih Conicyt - Komisija za znanost in tehnološki razvoj Ministrstva za izobraževanje v Čilu. S prvim projektom "Globo Inteligente" bodo dijaki v Čilu samostojno izdelali meteorološko sondo, ki bo potovala 35 kilometrov visoko, do roba sfere vesolja in merila vrsto karakteristik, specifično povezanih s podatki za opazovanje klimatskih sprememb. Awesomi pri tem zagotovi znanje in vodenje projekta, hkrati pa kot socialno omrežje omogoča sodelovanje in izmenjavo izkušenj na daljavo. Awesomi je tako edino izobraževalno-socialno omrežje, ki je s podpisom pogodbe postalo uradna komunikacijska platforma šolskega sistema v Čilu.

Awesomi - Talent Network for Thinkers and Makers

Abstract Awesomi is a social network that enables students to build a better online presence when entering a highly competitive labour market, whereas it acknowledges latest global trends in education and recruiting. Students showcase their formal and informal achievements, participate in a knowledge sharing discussions on a global scale and collect competence points based on mutual ratings. The emphasis is on one's personal interpretations and argumentations, whereas other users validate one's competencies. Young talents are able to connect with mentors and on the flip side with potential employers who are looking for perspective and knowledgeable students.

Awesomi has started in 2014 at Startup Chile, at the one of the top four startup accelerators globally. After two years of technical development, Awesomi has begun executing its first STEM education project in a partnership with Zavod 404, sponsored by Conicyt - Commision for science and technical development, Ministry of education in Chile. By participating in the "Globo Inteligente" project, students in Chile will develop a meteorological probe that goes up to 35 kilometeres in the air, to the last layer of the atmosphere before space. The device will measure different characteristics related to the climate change. During the project, Awesomi ensures the know-how and project management, and as a social network also enables participants to mutually share their experiences with a global community. Awesomi is the first educational-social network who entered into agreement with Conicyt and became the official communication platform for education system in Chile.

Povzetek Množično investiranje - Crowdfunding, še posebej v svoji aktualni obliki, se je izkazalo kot izvrstni način pospeševanja inovacijskih procesov in znižanje inovacijskih tveganj. Ta omogoča podjetnikom, da dobijo zgodnje povratne informacije in predložijo njihove prototipe ali koncepte storitev na odločilni tržni preizkus: pripravljenost strank za plačilo. Toda zakaj se ne bi obrnili na množico že v začetku inovacijskega procesa, zakaj ne bi množičnih virov vključili v proizvodnjo in izbor idej ter uporabili interne množice (zaposleni) podjetja za uspešni idejni management? Odgovor na to vprašanje je v konceptu "crowdbusiness", ki ga je razvil inovacijski strokovnjak dr. Reinhard Willfort. Abstract Crowdfunding, in particular in its presales form, has proven an excellent channel to accelerate the process of innovation and lower its risk. It enables entrepreneurs to get early feedback and submit their prototypes and service concepts to the ultimate market test: the customers’ willingness to pay. But why not appeal to the crowd even earlier in the innovation process, why not crowdsource idea generation and selection as well and use the internal crowd of a company for a successful ideamanagement? The answer to that question lies in the concept of “crowdbusiness” developed by innovation expert Dr. Reinhard Willfort. Reinhard is the CEO of Austria’s Innovation Service Network (ISN), and the creator of the crowdsourcing network Neurovation.net and the crowdfunding platform Tausend Mal Tausend.

Povzetek Mentorstvo in mentorski programi imajo v slovenskem prostoru dolgo tradicijo, ki pa je v zadnjih 20-30 letih doživela kar nekaj prekinitev. V zadnjih letih pa se tako posamezniki kot podjetja ponovno vračajo k obujanju mentorskih praks. S tem se mentorstvo ponovno utrjuje kot učinkovita kadrovska praksa, s čimer se priznavajo in (ponovno) odkrivajo pozitivni učinki mentorstva – tako za podjetja kot za posameznike. V duhu časa pa se tudi mentorstvo kot tako razvija naprej in ponuja nove odgovore na sodobne izzive časa.

The potential of mentorship in companies

Abstract Mentorship and mentorship programs have long tradition in Slovenian environment. Nevertheless, this tradition has encountered many interruptions in the last 20-30 years. Recently as well individuals as companies are returning to the revival of mentorship practices. This means mentorship can again be reinforced as efficient HR practice, meaning it is acknowledged and (re)discovered for its positive effects – for companies and individuals. In spirit of current times, mentorship is proving to be evolving as a practice and therefore can offer new solutions to current challenges.

Povzetek Vsekakor smo vsi posamezniki že začutili pritiske, ki nam jih prinašajo hitre spremembe, tehnološki razvoj in globalizacija. Obstaja veliko različnih teoretičnih pristopov kako naj bi se posamezniki razvijali in iskali ravnovesje med vsakodnevnimi izzivi. Da, tako je, vsakodnevni izzivi so namreč tisti, ki nas ženejo naprej in na katerih se lahko tudi največ naučimo. Nahajamo se v družbi znanja, ki pred posameznika postavlja pomembno zahtevo: da se zna učiti in uporabiti to znanje na praktičnih dogodkih v življenju. Pri tem je pomembna posameznikova fleksibilnost, aktivnost, prožnost ter zmožnost naučiti se drugačnega razmišljanja in vsako načrtovano in ali nenačrtovano aktivnost pretvoriti v učni izziv.

Lifelong learning and integration through personal experience abstract

Abstract Every day we feel the pressures brought to us by rapid change, technological development and globalization. There are many different theoretical approaches on how to help individuals develop and search for balance between the everyday challenges. Everyday challenges are in fact the ones who drive us on and with them we can upgrade our lifelong learning process. Our society becomes a society of knowledge in which each individual plays an important role: to be able to learn and apply this knowledge into practical events in life. Important elements are the individual's flexibility, activity, and the ability to expand thinking for any planned and unplanned activity and to cover it to a learning process.

Abstract In this paper Dušana Findeisen focuses on active ageing, film, intergenerational learning and relationships. She further discusses intergenerational transmission and construction of knowledge within the project CINAGE, European Cinema for Active Ageing. Supported by European Commission, the project was about active ageing, visual culture and production of featured short films by those who know what ageing is all about: older people and much younger film makers. The author argues that art; creative processes and cooperation with younger generations are essential for fostering and maintaining active ageing, as they are essential for intergenerational relationships, transmission and construction of knowledge.

PREDSTAVITVE DOBRIH PRAKS POVEZOVANJA ZNANJA NA ZVEZI ŠTUDENTSKIH KLUBOV SLOVENIJE (ZVEZA ŠKIS)

Patricija Premrov Zveza ŠKIS Povzetek Odbor za izobraževanje Zveze ŠKIS je najmlajši odbor Zveze, ustanovljen leta 2012. Njegov osrednji namen je pomoč in izobraževanje študentskih klubov z internim bazenom trenerjev, ki izvajajo treninge in izobražujejo aktiviste slovenskih študentskih klubov ter aktiviste Zveze ŠKIS. Neformalno izobraževanje predstavlja velik del vizije in misije Zveze ŠKIS. S kvalitetnim sistemom treningov se trudimo doseči učinkovita in donosna izobraževanja z osrednjim ciljem delovanja za klube. V letu 2015 smo v odboru organizirali preko 200 ur treningov in delavnic za dijake ter študente – v 2016 stremimo k temu, da številko 200 ur še presežemo.

Posebnost bazena trenerjev Zveze ŠKIS je odlično poznavanje problematike študentskih klubov in študentskega organiziranja, saj je bazen skoraj v celoti sestavljen iz dolgoletnih aktivistov študentskih klubov ter Zveze. Vsi trenerji so opravili trening za trenerje Zveze ŠKIS in so za izvajanje izobraževalnih aktivnosti visoko usposobljeni, hkrati pa so bili pri svojem delovanju kot bodisi klubovci ali aktivisti s številnimi izzivi in ovirami, ki pestijo študentske klube, tudi sami soočeni. Odbor za izobraževanje že od svojih začetkov razvija lasten sistem izobraževanja. Trajnostni razvoj, podpora, pomoč in izobraževanje študentskih klubov so osrednja vprašanja ob najpomembnejši nalogi oblikovanja sistema izobraževanj, ki bodo relevantna, zanimiva in prijetna za udeležence. Teme treningov in delavnic so v prvi vrsti povezane z delom v lokalnih študentskih organizacijah z namenom pomoči razvijanja kompetenc, ki so potrebne za uspešno upravljanje in vodenje lokalnih skupnosti in razvijanju osebnih kompetenc ter kompetenc za boljšo zaposljivost aktivistov študentskih klubov in Zveze ŠKIS.

Presentation of good practice of integration of knowledge at student clubs assocation of Slovenia (Zveza ŠKIS)

Abstract Student Clubs Association of Slovenia (Zveza ŠKIS) has an Educational Board and a pool of trainers that was established three years ago (2012). Its main purpose is having internal pool of trainers who deliver trainings and educate activists from all local Student Clubs in Slovenia (this is 56 Student Clubs). Educational Board has been developing its own educational system since its establishment. Sustainable development, support, help and education of Student Clubs have been our primary issues as our foremost important and challenging task was to change educational system at Zveza ŠKIS, making it relevant, interesting and appealing for participant.

Non-formal education is a great part of our organizational vision and mission and the quality assurance of our service is highly valued and prioritized. With high quality training system we aspire to highly beneficial learning that participants can take a full advantage of. Just in 2015 we have organized more than 200 hours of different trainings and workshops for students aged 15 to 30; in the following year (2016) we intend to increase this number. Training topics are related to work in local student organizations in order to help them develop competences needed for successful management and leadership promoting development of local communities together with developing personal competences, and key competences helping participants’ future employability.

Povzetek Razvojni center Srca Slovenije je nosilec povezovanja območja okoli geometričnega središča Slovenije. Pri projektih integralno povezuje podjetništvo, turizem in lokalno samooskrbo. V preteklih letih je aktivno sodeloval v 26 evropskih projektih iz 14 različnih transnacionalnih in medregionalnih evropskih programov.

Vzpostavila se je kreativna interdisciplinarna proaktivna skupina mladih projektnih menedžerjev z novimi kompetencami za integralni teritorialni razvoj. Učinki našega novega znanja in sposobnosti so: proaktivno delovanje v transnacionalnem in medregionalnem projektnem okolju, nova znanja, dobre prakse, izkušnje ter modele učinkovito in uspešno prenašajo v lokalno okolje (v občine, med podjetnike, turistične ponudnike, rokodelce, šole in vrtce, kmetije in mlade), ki se lažje in hitreje razvija ter raste, nov sistem izobraževanj in usposabljanj na različnih tematskih področjih širimo tudi v druga območja Slovenije (Mreža rokodelskih centrov Srca Slovenije) in Evrope (Partnerski sporazum z razvojnimi institucijami JV Evrope), ki se ga je udeležilo že več kot 13 tisoč ljudi. Skupaj z mednarodnimi deležniki in svojimi člani smo se organizirali kot odprto inovacijsko okolje, kjer je pridobivanje in prenašanje znanja ključna vrednota.

Connected we know more in the heart of Slovenia area

Abstract Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia is the carrier of area integration around Geometric Centre of Slovenia and through projects connects entrepreneurship, tourism and local self-sufficiency. In recent years we actively participated in 26 European projects from 14 different European transnational and interregional programs.

Creative interdisciplinary proactive group of young project managers with new competencies for integrated territorial development was established. The effects of our knowledge and skills are: being proactive in the transnational and interregional project environment, new knowledge, good practices, experiences, and models are effectively and efficiently transferred to the local environment (municipalities, entrepreneurs, tourism operators, craftsmen, schools and kindergartens, farms, young people), which develop and grow easier and faster, a new system of education and training in the various thematic areas also spread to other areas of Slovenia (Network of handicraft Centres of the Heart of Slovenia), Europe (Partnership agreements with development institutions of South Eastern Europe) which was attended by over 13 thousand people.

Together with international stakeholders and its members we are organized as an open innovation environment, where the acquisition and transfer of knowledge is the key value.

Povzetek: Kultura naroda v najširšem pomenu besede označuje njegov značaj, njegovo prepoznavnost med tisoči narodov na naši obli. Umetnost je tisti del kulture, brez katere tega značaja in prepoznavnosti ne bi bilo. Umetnost je brezčasovna, ne glede na to, da nastaja v točno določenem času in se odziva na vzgibe sočasne stopnje svetovne človekove zavesti. Kar nastaja v ustvarjalnih procesih danes, je najmočnejše orodje, s katerim lahko branimo narodno in državno prepoznavnost.

Glasba je kraljica umetnosti. Univerzalna: hkrati označuje duhovni in genetsko teritorialni izvor svojega umetniškega sporočila, hkrati pa govori v jeziku, ki ga lahko razume sleherno zemeljsko bitje. To spoznanje in seveda odraščanje ob vrhunskem umetniku me je pripeljalo do spoznanja, da moram svoje poslanstvo nameniti ustvarjalnosti in poustvarjalnosti mladih glasbenih talentov.

Veliko je poklicanih, a malo izbranih. Ne oziraje se na splošno uradno strokovno mnenje - izbirati in izbrati najboljše med najboljšimi po svoji lastni vesti, izkušnjah in intuiciji, je naloga »art managerja«, ki stremi k prepoznavanju potencialov vrhunske umetniške ustvarjalnosti in poustvarjalnosti: vzpodbujati mlade, jim svetovati, jih usmerjati, voditi, tolažiti, priporočati, jim omogočati pridobivanje pomembnih in potrebnih referenc in jih spoznavati s ključnimi osebami za umetniški razvoj in napredovanje v tehnični podlagi za ustvarjanje. "Art managment" to young musical talents

Abstract The nation’s culture in the broadest sense of the word indicates his character, his visibility among the thousands of nations on our globe. Art is that part of the culture, without which this character and visibility would not exist. Art is timeless, no matter that is generated in a specific time, and is responsive to the impulses of the concomitant degree of global human consciousness. What is produced in the creative processes today is the most powerful tool with which we can defend the national and state recognition.

Music is the queen of art. Universal: it denotes spiritual and genetic-territorial origins of its artistic message, while speaking in a language that they can understand every human being. This realization and of course growing up with a top artist led me to realize that I should dedicate my mission to the creativity and interpretation of young musical talents.

Many are being called, but few chosen. Irrespective of the general official expert opinion - to choose and select the best of the best according to their own conscience, experience and intuition, the role of "art manager", who aims to identify potential outstanding artistic creativity and interpretation: to encourage young people, advise them, guide them, lead, comfort, encourage, enable them to obtain important and necessary references and learn about key subjects for artistic development and advancement in the technical basis for the creation. 25 years experience of exceptional challenges.

STRATEŠKI FORUM BLED ZA MLADE - GENERACIJA GLOBALNIH DRŽAVLJANOV

Povzetek Ministrstvo za zunanje zadeve Republike Slovenije skupaj s partnerji, že enajsto leto zapored organizira Strateški forum Bled (BSF), mednarodno geopolitično konferenco na visoki ravni. Pred šestimi leti se je Ministrstvo odločili, da je potrebno v razpravo vključiti mlade voditelje iz Evrope in sveta, kar je privedlo do nastanka Strateškega foruma Bled za mlade (YBSF), ki poteka tik pred BSF. Tako se YBSF vsako leto osredotoča na sodobne izzive in poskuša najti rešitve zanje. YBSF predstavlja forum za reševanje najbolj perečih vprašanj današnje družbe, na bolj neobičajen način in skozi oči mlajše generacije. Zaradi lanskoletne begunsko/migrantske krize, je postalo vprašanje v zvezi z migracijami zelo pomembno. Za mlade je na primer mobilnost postala način življenja, razvoj sodobne tehnologije in globalizacija pa sta povzročili še večjo medsebojno povezanost sveta. Migracij mladih ne bi smeli razumeti kot breme, ampak kot priložnost. Kako pa lahko v to vključimo tudi medgeneracijski dialog in politično participacijo, pa sta zgolj dve vprašanji, na kateri bomo skušali odgovoriti, med tem ko bomo ustvarjali pametno mesto prihodnosti, kjer bodo dobrodošli državljani sveta.

Young Bled Strategic Forum – Generation of Global Citizens

Abstract Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia with its partners annually organizes Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), a high level international geo-political conference. 6 years ago Ministry decided to emphasize also youth dimension and therefore invited young leaders from Europe and beyond to attend an event, which took place right before the BSF. Young Bled Strategic Forum was born. Every year since, we have been hosting a new event, focusing on contemporary challenges, and trying to find solutions for them. We take advantage of being part of BSF (an unofficial opening event) and thus attracting many in international relations and politics interested young individuals, while at the same time using yBSF’s slightly more flexible framework for tackling most pressing issues of today in a more unconventional way. This year round we will be focusing on migration, more concretely youth mobility. In the wake of last year’s refugee crisis we have become increasingly more aware of issues concerning migration. For youth, mobility per se became a way of life. Modern technology and globalisation have made world more interconnected then ever. With EU’s demographics migration issues shouldn’t be seen as a burden, but more of an opportunity. How can we include intergenerational dialogue and political participation into the equation? These are some of the questions we’ll be trying to answer, while building a smart city of tomorrow, welcoming to everyone.

1. Anja Oman Področje dela: Magistrska naloga - Celovita obravnava javnih uslužbencev

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja:

Anja Oman je diplomantka upravnih ved na Fakulteti za upravo in zaključuje magistrski program Uprava. Vpis na Fakulteto za upravo se ji je sprva zdel slučaj, kateremu smisel je dala ravno posvetitev v meditacijo. Meditacija daje notranji vpogled v življenje posameznika in posledično omogoča boljše razumevanje sveta. Naloga temelji na celoviti obravnavi javnih uslužbencev in je namenjena izboljšanju kvaliteti življenja in dela, ter javne uprave na splošno. Njeno mnenje je, da uspešna javna uprava leži v rokah zadovoljnih in zdravih javnih uslužbencih.

Anja Oman is a graduate of administration studies at the Faculty of Administration and is finishing its Masters study programme in Administration. Her enrolment at the Faculty of Administration at first seemed a coincidence, and it was the focus on meditation that gave it purpose. Mediation enables an inner insight into the life of an individual and consequently enables a better understanding of the world. The Master's thesis is based on a comprehensive approach of public employees and its goal is to improve the quality of life and work and of public administration in general. The author believes that the key to a successful public administration lies in the hands of satisfied and healthy public employees.

2. Vili Korošec Področje dela: Praktično delo - Maturant opservatorija za glasbo

Opis prejemnika Referenca:

Harmonikar Vili Korošec se je rodil leta 1997 v Slovenj Gradcu. Harmoniko je začel igrati pri sedmih letih v Glasbeni šoli Radlje ob Dravi, kjer je uspešno zaključil pet razredov nižje glasbene šole, šesti razred in s tem nižjo glasbeno šolo pa je z odliko dokončal v Mariboru pri profesorici Marjetki Minič.

Ob tem se je zadnje leto pripravljal tudi na sprejemni izpit za Konservatorij za glasbo in balet Ljubljana, ki ga je uspešno opravil. V šolskem letu 2015/2016 pod mentorstvom profesorja Klemna Lebna uspešno zaključuje četrti letnik Konservatorija. Kot solist ter komorni glasbenik redno koncertira, izvaja samostojne recitale in se uveljavlja v različnih zasedbah pri nas in drugod po Evropi. V letu 2014 je nastopil kot solist na 50. jubilejnem koncertu kitarskega orkestra Ljudmila Rusa v Slovenski filharmoniji, igral pa je tudi z različnimi orkestri, med njimi tudi z orkestrom Konservatorija za glasbo in balet Ljubljana ter s simfoničnim orkestrom RTV. Izpopolnjeval se je pri mojstrih, kot so Stefan Hussong, Geir Draugsvoll, Mie Miki, Lars Holm, Jürgen Wunn, Vincent Lhermet, Klemen Leben, Simone Zanchini, Ivano Battiston, Veli Kuajal, Mika Väyrynen, itd.

Vili Korošec se je udeležil številnih državnih in mednarodnih tekmovanj, kjer je praviloma posegal po najvišjih mestih. Leta 2015 se je udeležil mednarodnega tekmovanja Svirel, kjer je postal zmagovalec v kategoriji solo harmonika po odločitvi priznane mednarodne komisije, v letu 2016 je postal finalist evrovizijskega tekmovanja mladih glasbenikov Slovenije. Njegovi posnetki bogatijo razne arhive radijskih in televizijskih hiš (RTV Slovenija, Radio ARS, Radio Koper ter mnogih drugih).

Predstavitev prejemnika priznanja:

Aljaž Malek je končal študij agronomije na Biotehniški fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Do sedaj je deloval na različnih področjih preučevanja okolja - od agronomije in gozdarstva do morske biologije.

Trenutno deluje kot prostovoljec v nizozemski nevladni organizaciji Plastic Soup Foundation, kjer preučuje onesnaževanje s plastiko in vpliv plastike na zdravje.

Aljaž Malek holds a degree in agronomy. He has experience in different fields of environmental science - from agronomy and forestry to marine biology. He currently works as an intern at the Dutch NGO Plastic Soup Foundation, where he investigates street littering and the health impacts of plastic.

Lea je že v začetku pokazala in čez čas tudi dokazala svojo pripravljenost za delo, močno voljo in odločnost. Zna sprejemati premišljene odločitve, ki so v korist tako podjetju kot posameznikom. Najbolj ji odgovarja delo z ljudmi, zato je delo v logistiki pravo zanjo. Razgibano delo ji omogoča osebnostno rast in zadovoljstvo, kar se odraža z nasmehom na obrazu od jutranje kave dalje. Delovne naloge opravlja hitro, do dogovorjenega datuma in brez napak. Nikoli ji ni težko narediti, kar ne sodi v njen osnovni delovni proces ali pomagati drugemu.

Lea’s willingness to work, strong will and determination was demonstrated from the very beginning. She knows how to make wise decisions in the benefit of both the company and individuals. She has a good sense for work with people, so the work in logistics is perfect for her. The dynamic work environment enables her personal growth and satisfaction, which is reflected with a smile on her face from the morning coffee onwards. Work tasks are performed quickly, by the agreed date and error- free. She is also always prepared to do things that are not a part of her core work process and to help others.

Gaj Neubauer je star 27 let in prihaja iz Ljubljane. Trenutno zaključuje študij na BIC Ljubljana, Višji strokovni šoli, program Gostinstvo in turizem, poleg tega je diplomiral tudi že na Fakulteti za podjetništvo Gea College. Po srednješolski izobrazbi je sicer Gimnazijski maturant, a ker je bila želja po znanju o kulinariki, gastronomiji, strežbi, skratka po gostinstvu pri njem tako močna, se je po zaključeni diplomi na področju podjetništva vpisal še v višješolski program Gostinstvo in turizem. V času svojega študija na BIC Ljubljana, Višji strokovni šoli je opravil veliko praktičnih vaj in sodeloval na številnih gostinskih dogodkih, prav tako pa je opravil 800 ur praktičnega izobraževanja v podjetjih.Praktično izobraževanje je opravil v restavraciji Strelec na Ljubljanskem gradu (Kaval Group) ter v restavraciji JB, Janez Bratovž s. p., Ljubljana, kjer je pridobil veliko praktičnega znanja in razvil določene spretnosti, pridobil nove izkušnje v svoji stroki, poleg tega so te izkušnje zelo dobro vplivale na njegovo osebno rast in njegovo ustvarjalnost. Pridobil je znanja o novih tehnikah in veščinah na področju visoke kulinarike, znanja o timskem delu ter spoznal način dela v restavracijah na višjem nivoju. Ima zelo izraženo željo po znanju in se hitro uči ter nenehno išče izboljšave, nove izzive, znajde se v kriznih situacijah v kuhinji in je zanesljiv. Poleg praktičnih izkušenj na področju visoke kulinarike, si je kasneje pridobil še praktično znanje v institucionalni kuhinji in tako lahko primerjal področji.

Gaj Neubauer is a 27-year-old-student from Ljubljana. He is currently completing his studies at BIC Ljubljana, Vocational College, in a programme of Hospitality and Tourism. He has finished a Grammar school programme and has graduated from the Faculty of Entrepreneurship - GEA College in Ljubljana. Due to his strong desire for knowledge of cooking, gastronomy, serving (in short – knowledge in the field of hospitality), he enrolled in higher/post-secondary vocational education and he became a student of Hospitality and Tourism. During his studies at BIC Ljubljana, Vocational College he did lots of practical exercises and was actively involved in numerous catering events. He also performed 800 hours of obligatory practical training in Strelec restaurant at Ljubljana Castle (Kaval Group) and in JB restaurant, Janez Bratovž in Ljubljana, where he gained a lot of practical knowledge and developed certain skills and new experience in his field of work, which has visibly contributed to his personal growth and has stimulated his creativity. He has gained knowledge of new techniques and skills in the field of high gastronomy, knowledge about teamwork and he has learnt about working methods in high-end restaurants. Gaj’s thirst for knowledge makes him a fast learner, constantly seeking for improvements and new challenges. He managed to stay calm and rational even when responding to crisis in the kitchen. Most importantly, he is very reliable. In addition to his practical experience in the field of high-end cuisine, he has also acquired practical knowledge in institutional food service, so he can compare work in both areas.

8. Daniel Rodić Področje dela: Projektno delo

I work for Domel Company since 2014 in Electrical R&D Department.

I have finished high school of Electrical electronic where I obtained my first knowledge in the field of electricity. This knowledge I wanted to upgrade, therefore I continued my studies at the Faculty for Electrical engineering in Ljubljana.

During my study I got the scholarship at Domel Company, which also made my study easier. I also have done my practice work at Domel, where I obtained a lot of practical experience in the field of electrical motors.

My theme for graduation thesis came from an industry problem, and was theoretically challenging as well. I am glad that my thesis under mentorship of dr. Boris Benedičič gave some insights in the topic of effect of production tolerances on motor cogging. The title of my work was: ''Influence of rotor production tolerances on cogging torque in permanent magnet motor''.

After my graduation I have been employed in Domel. The results and findings that I got from my thesis helps me a lot in my daily tasks, which are design and testing of electrical machines. In Domel we are developing a lot of different kinds of motors, so I still have a lot to learn. I have found out that an electrical motor is a complex product, so a project team has many members from various departments, and teamwork is crucial for a successful project

Tadej Grešovnik je študent 3. letnika Fakultete za družbene vede v Ljubljani, smer novinarstvo. Konec leta 2014 je v uredništvu informativne oddaje 24 ur začel delati kot raziskovalec in se s prodornostjo ter zavzetim delom hitro izkazal. Danes samostojno pripravlja novinarske prispevke za osrednjo informativno oddajo POP TV. Pokriva vsa področja, med drugim je poročal o begunski krizi in protestih zaradi žice ter spremljal zgodbo malega Jakoba, dečka, ki je tudi s pomočjo medijskih objav, prišel do potrebne operacije v tujini. Kljub mladosti, ima Tadej zelo profesionalen odnos do novinarskega dela, je izjemno kooperativen in vedno pripravljen pomagati.

Tadej Grešovnik is a junior at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences, where he majors journalism. He began working in the news departmet at POP TV in 2014, working as a researcher and junior producer at the 24ur news show. He thrived because of his excellent work ethics and dedication. Today he independently produces stories for the main news program at POP TV. He covers a broad array of topics, including coverage of the recent migrant crisis, protests relating to the erection of barb wire borders between EU conutries and most recently followed the story of young Jacob, whose complex medical condition required him surgery abroad.

Despite his young age, Tadej has a very professional attitude towards his journalistic work, is extremely cooperative and always willing to help.

Nino Horvat je dijak zaključnega letnika programa srednjega strokovnega izobraževanja - ekonomski tehnik na Ekonomski šoli Murska Sobota. Kot dijak je bil vedno samostojen, ambiciozen, samoiniciativen in inovativen. To je dokazal skozi vodenje oddelčne skupnosti kot tudi skozi številne projekte, v katerih je skupaj z drugimi dijaki v skupini vedno dosegal najvišja mesta. Aktivno je sodeloval tudi pri promociji šole v javnosti.

V šolskem letu 2014/15 je skupaj z drugimi dijaki v timu sodeloval na 9. mednarodnem sejmu učnih podjetij s projektom Up Pasji hotel d. o. o.. S svojo kreativnostjo, inovativnostjo in podjetnostjo so zasedli prvo mesto. Hkrati so zasedli prvo mesto za razstavni prostor in 3. mesto za osebje na državnem nivoju.

V šolskem letu 2015/16 je sodeloval v dveh raziskovalnih projektih. S projektom "Načik kak ovačik" (drugače kot običajno), je na mednarodni turistični tržnici 13. festivala Več znanja za več turizma prejel zlato priznanje. V sodelovanju s Pomurskim tehnološkim parkom je v skupini dijakov reševal izziv, ki ga je postavilo podjetje KMG Panorganic iz Ljutomera in predlagal ustrezne rešitve optimizacije komuniciranja v tem podjetju.V šolskem letu 2015/16 je bil na tritedenskem izobraževanju v tujini v okviru projekta Erasmus+. Za večletno prizadevno delo in doseganje rezultatov pri šolskem in izvenšolskem delu je prejel številna priznanja.

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja

Sara Štirn končuje 3.letnik štiriletne gostinske šole v Radovljici. Že v soli je sodelovala pri projektu Montignacova zdrava prehrana v kuhinji. Potem je sodelovala pri projektu v Gostilni Krištof v Predosljah - dnevni restavracij v Sloveniji - lani v oktobru in letos v marcu mesecu, v kateri krog sodijo najboljše restavracije z najmanj 4 sončki po oceni gostov.

Sodelovala je pri projektu - priprava spomladanskega jedilnika v Gostilni Krištof. Ker je izbor za jedilnik v omenjeni restavraciji zelo poseben vsaj vsebuje od modernih novih jedi (vegetarjanskih in vegi jedi), s privdihom domačega zdravega okolja in izbranih certificiranih bio jedi.

17. Teja Vavtar Področje dela: Raziskovalno delo - Znamčenje prostora na primeru tržne znamke Srce Slovenije

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja:

Teja Vavtar je študentka magistrskega programa Komunikologije na Fakulteti za družbene vede v Ljubljani. Ker je marketing njena strast, je leta 2014 je postala članica Študentske sekcije Društva za marketing Slovenije, v kateri sodeluje pri številnih projektih. Diplomirala je leta 2015 iz Komunikologije na temo reprezentacije ženskosti v medijih. Pri predmetu »Upravljanje tržnih znamk«, katerega nosilec je dr. Mihel Kline, je zelo uspešno opravila seminarsko nalogo z naslovom »Znamčenje prostora na primeru tržne znamke Srce Slovenije«, kar bo tudi tema njene magistrske naloge.

Teja Vavtar is a student of Master's programme »Communicology« on Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. Marketing is her passion and that is the reason that she became a member of Student Section of Marketing Association of Slovenia in 2014, where she participates in various projects. She graduated in 2015 from Communicology on representation of women in media. In the course »Strategic brand management« operated by Mihael Kline, she successfully prepared term paper »Placebranding on example of »Srce Slovenije« brand, which will also be the theme of her Master's thesis.

Luka Ažman je magister inženir strojništva na področju proizvodnih sistemov in tehnologij ter trenutno zaposlen v podjetju Magneti Ljubljana, d.d. kot tehnolog v avtomatizaciji. Ukvarja se s konstrukcijo in razvojem avtomatskih strežnih sistemov ter inženirsko podporo proizvodnji. V čusu študija je bil štipendist v podjetju Magneti Ljubljana, d.d. V tem času je v podjetju opravljal tudi študentsko delo.

20. Zala Müller Področje dela: Delo na projektih

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja:

Zala Müller je študentka magistrskega študija na Ekonomski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Na Združenju Manager je delala med februarjem 2015 in marcem 2016 in je izjemno spretno opravljala svoje naloge ter pripomogla k uspehom projektov in združenja kot takega. Zala je opravljala administrativna dela povezana s financami (izdajanje računov, obračun potnih stroškov …), vodenjem pisarne (prevzem telefonskih klicev, priprava gradiv za sestanke …), izdajanjem revije MQ (priprava člankov in zbiranje gradiv), vsebinsko pa je največ pripomogla pri organizaciji dogodkov in evidenci članstva. Še posebej velja izpostaviti njeno sodelovanje pri projektih:

Samit100 Poslovnih voditeljev JV Evrope (1. – 2. junij 2015, Grand hotel Bernardin, kjer je imela vlogo vodje spremljajočega dogodka Pre-event for Young Manager in koordinacijo s člani društva Management Groupa) Managerski kongres 2015 (24. – 25. september 2015, Grand hotel Bernardin, kjer je imela vlogo vodje registracije) Projekt: prenova baze Združenja Manager (november 2015 – marec 2016, kjer je imela vlogo raziskovalke in implementatorke; skupaj s strokovno sodelavko Združenja Manager sta raziskali, pripravili in izpeljali prenovo CRM baze Združenja Manager) Zala je na Združenje Manager prišla z izkušnjami na področju organizacije, marketinga in administracije, ki jih je pridobivala kot članica in aktivna funkcionarka Management Group, kar je nedvomno doprineslo k njeni hitrosti in spretnosti pri opravljanju zadolžitev.

Zala Müller is a student of master studies at the Faculty of Economics in University of Ljubljana. She worked at Managers' Association of Slovenia (MAS) between February 2015 and March 2016, and was extremely skilful at carrying out her tasks. She very much contributed to the success of projects and association as such. Zala performed administrative work related to finance, office management tasks, prepared articles for MQ Magazine, helped with the organization of the events and other. Project that as especially worth mentioning are:

• The Conference Beauty and the Beast: Don't Underestimate the Power of Talents (4th – 5th March 2015, Grand hotel Union, where she was a head of the registration) • Samit100 Business Leaders of SEE (1st – 2nd June 2015, Grand Hotel Bernardin, where she coordinated the organization of the Pre-event for Young Managers and coordination with members of the Management Group) • Management Congress 2015 (24th – 25th September 2015, Grand Hotel Bernardin, where she was head of the registration) • Project: renovation of the CRM platform of MAS (November 2015 - March 2016, where she had the role of researcher and implementer) Zala came to MAS with experiences in the field of organization, marketing and administration, which she acquired as an active member of Management Group, which has undoubtedly contributed to her speed and performance skills.

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja:

Katarina Lavtar je absolventka Univerze v Ljubljani na Fakulteti za gradbeništvo in geodezijo, smer vodarstvo in komunalni inženiring. Katarina je zelo lep primer tega, da se da usklajevati zelo zahteven študij z vrhunskim športom, saj je stalna članica slovenske ženske članske reprezentance v alpskem smučanju. Je dokaz, da trdo delo, volja, radovednost in želja po razvoju tako na športnem kot študijskem in drugih področjih vedno obrodi sadove. Na podlagi športnih rezultatov se je udeležila olimpijskih iger v Sočiju 2014, kjer je zasedla dvajseto mesto v veleslalomu, prav tako je redna dobitnica točk na tekmovanjih svetovnega prvenstva. Na študijskem področju bo v kratkem postala diplomantka, vendar pa si želi svoje znanje razširi še z nadaljnjim študijem, svoje znanje pa preizkusiti ter nadgraditi na različnih področjih. Po končani karieri vrhunske športnice želi svojo pot nadaljevati na področju pridobljenega strokovnega naziva.

Katarina Lavtar is a graduate of the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, Water Science and Environmental Engineering. Katarina represent a very nice example how to combine a study of great pretension with top-level sport, as she is a member of National Women’s Alpine Ski Team, as well. She is a prove that a hard work, will power, inquisitiveness and passion desire for development in both fields, sport and study always bring the desired results. Based on her sports result she participated in the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games where she took 20th place in giant slalom, she is a regular winner of FIS points in the World Cup. Within short time, she will graduate from her study, but she wants to expand her knowledges with further study and to test them and upgrade them in different fields. After conclusion of her professional sport career she wants to continue with work in the field if her professional education.

Predstavitev prejemnice priznanja:

Nomi Hrast iz Maribora je od nekdaj bila aktivna na veliko področjih. Trenutno obiskuje drugi letnik II. gimnazije v Mariboru (2014-), pred tem je obiskovala osnovno šolo Ludvika Pliberška Maribor (2005- 2014). V času osnovnega šolanja je aktivno trenirala karate in se učila nemščino.

Aprila 2014 je postala predsednica Nacionalnega otroškega parlamenta, kjer sem je prvič srečala s politiko in mladinsko politično participacijo. Ker je v tem videla velik potencial, je po predaji funkcije aprila 2015 postala tudi članica upravnega odbora Mestnega mladinskega sveta Maribor (oktober 2015-). V enakem času je postala tudi članica ekipe Dijaške skupnosti Maribor, kjer organizirajo razne poučne, zabavne in športne dogodke za dijake. V oktobru 2015 je prav tako postala junior ambasadorka UNICEF-a. Piše tudi za šolski časopis Borec in dijaški časopis Dijaški Spekter.

V šoli aktivno obiskuje tudi klub za razmišljanje, kjer se učijo kreativnega razmišljanja ter kako ga uporabiti v vsakdanjem življenju. V sklopu Kluba za razmišljanje je decembra 2015 obiskala tudi Malto, kjer je spoznala Edwarda de Bona in obiskala Inštitut za kreativno razmišljanje in inovacije na Univerzi na Malti. Prav tako sodeluje na raznih izmenjavah, kjer spoznava nove kulture in njihovo življenje. V prostem času že 5 let piše raziskovalne naloge, v zadnjem času pa se osredotoča predvsem na šolstvo ter kako bi ga lahko izboljšali in s tem zagotovili boljšo prihodnost za mlade. Raziskuje že pet let, v lanskem letu je pripravila inovacijski predlog, kjer je inovirala nov predmet Poslovne in življenjske strategije za slovenske gimnazije. Letos je pripravila model spremembe sistema gimnazijskega izobraževanja v Sloveniji, ki ga želi v nadaljnjih letih še izpopolniti. V preteklih letih je bila soavtorica znanstvenih člankov na mednarodnih IRDO konferencah (Družbena odgovornost v osnovnošolskem izobraževanju – 2013, Epigenetika, kako jo razumejo osnovnošolci) - 2014), leta 2015 pa je bila samostojna avtorica znanstvenega članka Poslovne in življenjske strategije mladih gimnazijcev.

Nomi Hrast from Maribor has always been a girl with many interests. Currently she is attending her second year of high school of II. gimnazija Maribor (2014-), before she was attending Osnovna šola Ludvika Pliberška Maribor (2005-2014). In her time of elementary school, she was practising karate and learning German. In April 2014, she became the president of the National Childrens Parliament, where she first met politics and youth participation. She saw a big potential in participation, therefore she became a member of the board at Youth City Council of Maribor and a member of Student Community of Maribor, where they organize different sport, education and entertainment events for students all around Maribor. In October 2015, she became also the Junior Ambassador of UNICEF. She also writes for the school newspaper Borec and the local student newspaper Dijaški Spekter. In school she activly attends the Creative thinking Club, where they learn new methods of creative thinking, and how to use it in practice. With the Creative thinking Club she visited Malta in December 2015, where she met Dr. Edward de Bono and visited the Institute of Creative thinking and Innovation at University of Malta. She also attends many student exchanges, where she meets many different cultures and people. For five years, she writes research assignments in her free time and in last two years, she is focusing on innovation assignments, in which she has innovated a new subject for high schools and a new model of high school education in Slovenia. In the past years she was the author of many scienfitic papers on international IRDO conferences (Social Responsibility in elemantary education – 2013, Epigenetics, how do students understand it -2014), in 2015 she was an independent author of a scientific paper Business and life strategies of young students.

Mentor je oseba, ki s svojim strokovnim znanjem, vzpodbudami in usmeritvami pomaga mladim, jih vodi, usmerja, navdušuje. Z dobrimi mentorji, ki premorejo praktična znanja in veščine na podlagi preteklega dela, vzpostavljamo ravnoteţje in zapolnjujemo vrzel v pomanjkljivosti praktičnih znanj, ki jih posamezniki potrebujejo.

A mentor is “a trusted counselor or guide.” A mentor is an individual, always more experienced, who helps and guides another individuals development. With good mentors, we will reduce structural imbalances, because the new graduates will be better qualified for work in practice.

1. Matjaž Rupert

Opis prejemnika priznanja

Je direktor in soustanovitelj podjetja P.E.C.A. INTERNATIONAL d.o.o., sicer pa strokovni svetovalec in strokovnjak s področja komplementarne medicine, ki proučuje energijski ustroj prostora in oseb, ki so povezani z obravnavanim prostorom. Je avtor simbola P.E.C.A.®, ki je bil znanstveno raziskovan in mednarodno potrjen. Na osnovi kreacije simbola P.E.C.A. je na mednarodni Univerzi za 55 Komplementarno medicino na Šrilanki (Faculty of Medical Studies - Medicina Alternativa Institute affiliated to The Open International University for Complimentary Medicines, Alma Ata 1962) prejel mednarodno priznanje za svoje ţivljenjsko delo in naziv Ph.D. ali Doktor Filozofije s področja komplementarne medicine.

Leta 2009 mu je ista univerza podelila še diplomo, s katero potruje, da je član kraljevega registra praktikantov komplementarne medicine (The Fellowship of Royal Complementary Practitioners). Matjaž si je s tem prislužil tudi strokovni naziv F.R.C.P. (M.A.), ki mu uradno omogoča praktično delo na tem področju.

Leta 2009 mu je ista univerza podelila še diplomo, s katero potruje, da je član kraljevega registra praktikantov komplementarne medicine (The Fellowship of Royal Complementary Practitioners). Matjaž si je s tem prisluţil tudi strokovni naziv F.R.C.P. (M.A.), ki mu uradno omogoča praktično delo na tem področju.

Matjaž is a CEO and a co-founder of P.E.C.A. International as well as a professional consultant and a complementary medicine expert, researching the energy structure of space and people connected to it. He is the author of P.E.C.A. symbol® which was scientifically researched and internationally acknowledged. After creating the P.E.C.A. symbol the International University for Complementary Medicine in Sri Lanka (Faculty of Medical Studies - Medicina Alternativa Institute affiliated to The Open International University for Complementary Medicines, Alma Ata 1962) acknowledged him for his life work and awarded him with the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.)* degree in the field of complementary medicine.

In 2009, he received a diploma from the same university, which certified that Matjaž became a member of The Fellowship Register of Royal Complementary Practitioners. Earning the professional F.R.C.P. (M.A.) degree, he was allowed to practice work in this area.

Opis prejemnice priznanja

Martina Ocepek graduated in law from the University of Maribor. After her first job in the business sector she has been a public employee since 1994. In 2001 she became an adviser to the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia in matters concerning the environment, spatial planning, activities affecting the environment, administrative affairs and procedures, property issues, denationalisation and taxes. Since 2013 she has headed the Ombudsman’s expert service.

She is also the author of numerous papers on state administration, environmental protection and public health. She mentors trainees in the Ombudsman’s expert service, and senior year students and graduation candidates as part of the Legal Clinic for Refugees and Foreigners at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She has presented her expert contributions at international conferences in Slovenia and abroad, and completed training for mediators.

Marko Bahor je 45 let star magister strojništva in magister organizacije in poslovodenja. Več let je delal na komercialnem področju v industriji kabelskih snopov za avtomobilsko industrijo in industrijo bele tehnike. Zadnjih pet let je zaposlen v podjetju RIKO d.o.o. kot projektni vodja na področju ekološkega inženiringa.

Marko Bahor is 45-year-old Master of Science in mechanical engineering and Master of business administration. He has been working several years as commercial manager in the field of wire harness for automotive and home appliance industry. Last five years he is working as project manager in company RIKO d.o.o. in the field of ecology engineering.

6. Dr. Boris Benedičič

Head of Motor Development, Domel d.o.o. I have finished bachelor studies at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Ljubljana in 1996 in the field of synchronous reluctance motor design. Then I continued his studies in the same Faculty, the topic of the first level of postgraduate studies was construction of switched reluctance motor and optimization of control parameters for this motor. After finishing master’s studies in 1999 I have been working in Domel in the field of analysis and optimization of universal motors. Between years 2001 and 2004 I have been working on commutation of universal motor. The goal of this project was to improve the lifetime of universal motor. In the frame of the project I have uncovered some new findings and I was able to defend a Ph. D. thesis with the title Model of Commutation of Universal Motor.

Since 2006 I am working in the position of Head of Motor Development, therefore I am responsible for a department that does motor calculations and project coordination. I am still active in the field of motor calculations and motor optimization. With this expertise I am helping my company to grow in the field of new and challenging motor designs.

Borut s svojo samoiniciativnostjo ter željo po odkrivanju novih rešitev in znanj tudi izven osnovnega delovnega procesa izraža veselje do svojega dela. Pod svoje okrilje rad sprejema študente in študentke, jim daje jasna navodila in potrebno podporo pri opravljanju njihovega dela. V svojem timu in celem kolektivu ustvarja pozitivno klimo ter spodbuja ostale za ustvarjalnost in inovativnost. Je oseba z jasnimi cilji in vizijo za prihodnost, kar se odraža pri soustvarjanju lastnih blagovnih znamk podjetja LOTRIČ Meroslovje QTree in Exactum.

Borut with his personal initiative and desire for new knowledge and solutions beyond his basic work process expresses the passion for his work. He likes to work with students, giving them clear guidance and support that is needed to perform their work. In his team and the entire working collective, he is creating a positive atmosphere. He also encourages other to creativity and innovation. Nataša Šiplič Šiftar, po izobrazbi univerzitetna diplomirana ekonomistka, je dolgoletna učiteljica strokovnih modulov in praktičnega pouka na Ekonomski šoli Murska Sobota. Bila je mentorica dijakom, ki so na 9. mednarodnem sejmu učnih podjetij s projektom Up Pasji hotel d.o.o., s svojo kreativnostjo, inovativnostjo in podjetnostjo zasedli prvo mesto. Hkrati so zasedli prvo mesto za razstavni prostor in 3. mesto za osebje na državnem nivoju.

Prav tako so dijaki pod njenim mentorstvom na mednarodni turistični tržnici 13. festivala Več znanja za več turizma, s projektom "Načik kak ovačik" (drugače kot običajno), prejeli zlato priznanje.

Svoje mentorske izkušnje je prenašala tudi na dijake v okviru projekta "Izzivi za mlade" Pomurskega tehnološkega parka, z raziskovalno nalogo "Optimizacija komuniciranja v podjetju Panorganic. S svojim znanjem, veščinami in predanostjo pedagoškemu poklicu prispeva k večjemu sodelovanju šole s podjetji v lokalnem okolju. Veliko časa posveča delu z mladimi, s tem pa prispeva k razvijanju njihovih potencialov in strokovni ter osebnostni rasti.

Boštjan Humski je svoje delovne izkušnje vrsto let pridobival v gospodarstvu, na področju gostinstva, hotelirstva, in sicer na različnih področjih dela, vključno s področjem managementa. V času svojega dela je veliko časa namenil lastnemu izobraževanju in usposabljanju, kar je bila tudi dobra podlaga, da je lahko svoja znanja pogosto predajal ostalim zaposlenim v svojem delovnem okolju. Tako je bil vodja internih izobraževanj o protokolu, osnovah barmanstva, trendih v kulinariki, bil je razvijalec novih produktov v Termah Ptuj, v Thermani d. d., Terme Tuhelj, v Termah Olimia d. d. Bil je vodja organizacije različnih dogodkov ... Je soavtor knjige Prisrčno dobrodošli – Gostoljubnost in prisrčnost v turizmu in storitvenih dejavnostih. Ker pa ga že nekaj let spremlja želja po prenašanju znanja na mlade, se je leta 2014 zaposlil na BIC Ljubljana in od tedaj dalje kot pedagog izobražuje študente Višje strokovne šole programa Gostinstvo in turizem o področju strežbe, poslovanja hotelov. V kratkem času dela v šolstvu je tudi mentor študentom na tekmovanjih nacionalnega in mednarodnega nivoja, v okviru katerih so študenti prejeli številne nagrade. Je tudi član strokovnih komisij na nacionalnih in mednarodnih tekmovanjih s področja gostinstva (GTZ …).

Boštjan Humski has worked in the field of hospitality and hotel management business for many years, and he has worked and acquired a lot of experience in the field of management. During his time of work in hospitality and hotel management business, he dedicated a lot of time to his professional development and training, which has provided a good basis to share knowledge with other employees in his working environment. He was in charge of internal training in protocol, the basics of bartending, and trends in culinary art. He has developed new products in Terme Ptuj, in Thermana d. d., Terme Tuhelj, and Terme Olimia. He was in charge for organization of different events (in the field of hospitality). He is a co-author of the book A Warm Welcome - Hospitality and Cordiality in a Tourism and Service Industries. Boštjan Humski has had a long-life desire to teach young people, to share his own knowledge with them and in 2014; he started his new career as a teacher. He has been working at BIC Ljubljana since 2014. He is a teacher, at Vocational College of BIC Ljubljana in the programme Hospitality and Tourism. He has been teaching service and hotel management. In his very short time of working in education, he has also been a mentor to students in competitions at national and international levels. His students have received numerous awards. He is also a member of expert committees at national and international competitions in the field of hospitality.

12. Marjeta Cevc

Marjeta Cevc je od leta 2010 dalje zaposlena na BIC Ljubljana, v okviru katerega deluje tudi Višja strokovna šola in Marjeta Cevc tako že vrsto let na študente Gostinstva in turizma prenaša svoje bogato znanje gostinstva. Pred tem je daljše obdobje poučevala tudi dijake in odrasle udeležence izobraževanj na Srednji šoli za gostinstvo in turizem v Ljubljani. Tako je na področju šolstva opravljala in opravlja različna področja dela, od strokovne učiteljice za področje kuharstva, predavateljice, inštruktorice, organizatorice praktičnega izobraževanja za študente. V času dela na pedagoškem področju je bila mentorica številnim dijakom in študentom na tekmovanjih nacionalnega in mednarodnega nivoja, v okviru katerih so študenti prejeli številne nagrade. Je tudi mentorica in so- mentorica številnim diplomskim, seminarskim in projektnim nalogam. Je avtorica strokovnih člankov in članica strokovnih komisij na nacionalnih in mednarodnih tekmovanjih s področja gostinstva (Gostinsko turistični zbor Slovenije, tekmovanja v okviru Evropskega združenja hotelirskih in turističnih šol (AEHT), Euroskills …).

Svoje delovne izkušnje pa ni pridobivala le v šolstvu, pridobivala jih je tudi v neposrednem delovnem okolju, v Univerzitetnem kliničnem centru v Ljubljani na različnih delovnih mestih v OE Bolniška prehrana in dietoterapija.

Marjeta Cevc has been working at BIC Ljubljana since 2010. She is an expert in the field of gastronomy and culinary art. She has been teaching students of Hospitality and Tourism at Vocational College of BIC Ljubljana. Before coming to BIC Ljubljana, she had been a teacher for a long period at the Secondary School for Catering and Tourism in Ljubljana, where she had taught students at secondary level of education as well as adult learners. In the field of education, she has been very active in various areas of work. She has been a teacher in the field of cooking, culinary art at secondary and tertiary levels of education, a lecturer, an instructor and an organizer of practical training for students. She has been a mentor to many secondary and tertiary level students in competitions at national and international levels.

Her students have received numerous awards. She has also been a mentor and co-mentor to numerous students working on their thesis diplomas, seminar papers and project work. Marjeta Cevc is also the author of professional articles and is a member of expert committees at national and international competitions in the field of cooking (Hospitality and Tourism Assembly of Slovenia, competition within the European Association of Hotel and Tourism Schools (AEHT), Euroskills ...). She has not gained her work experience only in the field of education; she was employed at the Faculty of Medicine UL, holding various positions within the Department of Hospital Diet and Dietotherapy.

Poleg področja avtomatizacije in vodenja procesov je aktiven tudi na drugih področjih, kot sta energetika in kakovost. Je notranji presojevalec sistemov vodenja kakovosti v podjetju. Je tudi avtor strokovnih člankov na temo računalniškega vodenja strojev, ki smo jih razvili in izdelali v podjetju Magneti Ljubljana d.d. Vodi projekte v podjetju s področja izdelave ali nabave nove opreme in infrastrukture. V svoji dosedanji strokovni karieri je bil mentor dijakom, študentom ali novo zaposlenim sodelavcem.

Mitja Pregelj holds degree in electrical engineering, he works in the company Magneti Ljubljana d.d. as Head of automation departmant. He is a specialist in the field of computer process and machine control and supervisory, control and data acquisition systems. In addition to the areas of automation and process control he is also active in other areas, such as energy and quality. He is also internal auditor of quality management systems in the company. He is author of scientific articles on the subject of computer control of machines, we have developed and manufactured in the company Magneti Ljubljana d.d. He manages projects in the company in the field of construction or purchase of new equipment and infrastructure. In his previous professional career, he has been a mentor to students or newly employed colleagues.

Ana Savšek je z aktivnim delovanjem v Razvojnem centru Srca Slovenije pridobila izkušnje iz vodenja projektov, oblikovanja komunikacijskih strategij, izvajanja promocijskih aktivnosti ter izvajanja delavnic in predavanj.

Sodeluje pri evropskih projektih, ukvarja se z odnosi z javnostmi ter dela na promociji znamke Srce Slovenije. Posebej jo veseli sodelovanje pri kreativnem timskem delu in soustvarjanju razvojnih zgodb. Je univerzitetna diplomirana etnologinja in kulturna antropologinja, po naravi je organizator, odlikuje pa jo občutek za natančnost in sistematičnost.

With an active involvement in the Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia, Ana Savšek gained experiences in project management, communication strategies designs, and the implementation of promotional activities, workshops and lectures.

She participates in European projects and is responsible for public relations matters as well as management, development and promotion of the Heart of Slovenia trademark.

She is especially keen on participating in a creative teamwork and co-creating new development stories. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. She has strong sense of precision, organizing skills and is overall systematic in nature.

16. Valentin Koblar

G. Valentin Koblar je praktično 10 let vodil študentsko skupino iDRIUM, ki kot oddelek Kolektor Group deluje v Ljubljani z namenom angažiranja štipendistov koncerna Kolektor in drugih študentov na praktičnih projektih s področja strojništva, elektrotehnike in mehatronike. Skupina stalno angažira v povprečju 10 študentov. V obdobju, ko je skupino vodil g. Koblar so bili izvedeni številni praktični projekti od konstrukcij specialnih naprav in strojev do razvoja specialnih kontrolnih postopkov. V povezavi s temi projekti je nastalo veliko diplomskih in magistrskih del pri katerih je kot mentor s strani koncerna sodeloval g. Koblar. Številni člani skupine iDRIUM so se po končani diplomi brez problema zaposlili v koncernu. Na prvi stik z delom v industriji in na mentorja pa se še vedno radi spomnijo, kar dokazujejo vsakoletna srečanja aktualnih in bivših članov skupine.

Končala je II. gimnazijo Maribor, kjer danes poučuje biologijo. Po končani gimnaziji je nadaljevala šolanje na oddelku za biologijo (molekularno – biološka smer) na Biotehniški fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, kjer je diplomirala s področja biokemije. Po študiju se je zaposlila v farmacevtskem podjetju Medis, kjer je delala kot strokovni sodelavec in kasneje kot produktni vodja za področje trženja zdravil. Po rojstvu otroka je opravila dodatne pedagoško – andragoške izpite na Pedagoški fakulteti Univerze v Mariboru in se zaposlila na II. gimnaziji Maribor, kjer še danes dela kot profesorica biologije. Biologijo poučuje v nacionalnih oddelkih, poleg tega pa tudi v programu mednarodne mature, ki ga poleg bežigrajske in kranjske gimnazije izvaja tudi II. gimnazija Maribor. Pri svojem delu ima že vse od prve zaposlitve naprej stik z ljudmi, kar je tisto, kar v največji meri botruje dejstvu, da se je odločila za poučevanje in da to še zmeraj rada počne. Poučevanje jemlje kot življenjsko poslanstvo, delo z mladimi pa kot svoj prispevek k oblikovanju solidarne in odgovorne družbe prihodnosti. V času poučevanja je mentorirala že več dijaških raziskovalnih nalog, se ob tem in preko različnih drugih projektov povezovala z različnimi znanstvenimi ustanovami, prav tako pa za biologijo v zadnjih letih navdušuje tudi osnovnošolce, ki II. gimnazijo Maribor obiskujejo poleti, v času tako imenovanih Počitnic na Drugi, ki so skupaj z ostalimi sodelavci nastale tudi na njeno idejo in pobudo. Svoj prosti čas namenja branju leposlovja, slikanju, hoji v hribe ter teku.

She finished II. gimnazija Maribor, where she is currently working as a biology teacher. After that she studied biology (molecular biology direction) at Biotechnical faculty University of Ljubljana, where she graduated from biochemistry. After graduation she started to work at the pharmaceutical company Medis, where she was working as a sales representative and later as a product manager for the medicines marketing. After the birth of her son she passed extra exams for pedagogical andragogical education at the Faculty of education University of Maribor and she started to work as a biology teacher at II. gimnazija Maribor. She teaches biology in national programs, as well as in the International Baccalaureate program, later being also performed at II. gimnazija Maribor beside Gimnazija Bežigrad and Gimnazija Kranj. Since her first employment she is having a constant contact with people, which is the main reason for her to teach and for still loving being a teacher. She considers teaching as her life mission, and working with young people as her contribution to the creation of cohesive and responsible society of the future. During her teaching period she was a mentor of a few high school research papers and while doing that and through various other projects, she connected with various scientific institutions. In the recent years, she has been raising the interest for biology even for primary school children, which attend II. gimnazija Maribor during the summer workshops as part of the project Holidays on II. gimnazija, that was established by her as one of the initiators. She devotes her free time reading literature, painting, hiking and running.

Senior Mentorji so predlagani s strani svojih kolegov ali drugih strokovnih sodelavcev.

Senior Mentor is an honorable function that belongs to the individuals who work with participants for over 15 years and are still active on the specific field. Senior mentor supports young people and mentors with some practical advice, contribute the roundtables, events. Mentors seniors are proposed by their colleagues to take an honorary position.

Vlado Dimovski is a full professor of management at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and holds degrees in economics (BA, MA), philosophy (BA), and in management and finance (PhD), the dissertation topic was one of the first in the world on organizational learning and learning organizations. Employed at the Faculty of Economics since 1984, and also served as the State Secretary for Industry (1995-1997), Minister for Labor, Family and Social Affairs (2000-2004), and as the President of the Center for International Competitiveness, (1997-2000).

As professor he published various articles and books (i.e. on Authentic Leadership, Advanced Management), supervised almost 300 undergraduate theses, more than 200 masters theses, and almost 20 doctoral theses. He has been visiting professor or researcher at many renowned institutions and is a member or a leader of numerous research projects and programs, and the member of various international associations.

He is also active in sports (was president of the Swimming Federation in Slovenia), and in charity work and humanitarian activities (member of Clinton Global Initiative, Lions International). He was awarded with many distinguished honors and awards: Youth Leader Award, Best Master Thesis Award, Beta Gamma Sigma, Slovenian Management Award, Who is Who Statesmen, Harvard Directory of Scholars, many Best Paper Awards.

He is a judge at the Constitutional Court of Slovenia and its former President. HE is professor at International Law at the European Law Faculty, University of Ljubljana. He is a member of UN International Law Commission and its former Chairman. HE was ambassador to USA, India, Austria, Brasil, Mexico, Nepal, and to UN (New York), OSCE (Vienna), IAEA, UNIDO. He was a member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IAEA. In 1978 he was decorated for excellency in his research work. He is author of 9 books and numerous articles. He holds a PhD and was decorated by SLovenia, Austria, Spain, Hungary and USA.

1. Angelo Xuereb, Chairman and CEO at AX Holdings group, Malta

Angelo Xuereb is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the AX Holdings group of companies (www.axholdings.com.mt), one of Malta’s leading entrepreneurial organisations.

Born in Naxxar on 15 June 1952 Angelo initially started as a sole trader carrying out minor construction jobs. By 1977 he established Angelo Xuereb Ltd. (www.axconstruct.com), which developed into a leading local construction and civil engineering company.

During 1982, Mr. Xuereb took his first step towards diversification and invested substantially in the tourism sector, opening the Sunny Coast Holiday Complex in Qawra (www.sunnycoast.com.mt). That same year Mr. Xuereb formed another company Hardrocks Ltd, providing top quality sand and gravel to the building industry. Following the success of the Sunny Coast Holiday Complex, Mr. Xuereb decided to invest further in the tourism industry, and developed the 458 room Suncrest Hotel, Malta’s largest four-star hotel. Zoran Živković, nekdanji premier Republike Srbije, poslanec v Narodni Skupščini Srbije in predsednik Nove stranke (NOVA).

Zoran Živković, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, took part in the process of democratic changes in Serbia. His political work in the 90’s of last century was marked by taking part in the opposition in Đinđić's Democratic Party (DS) and the Democratic Opposition of Serbia (DOS). After the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić he successfully continued his work as a Prime Minister. Recently he founded new political party called "New Party", he is it’s president.

4. Dragana Jevtić, Project Manager at Creative Mentoring, Serbia

Because of curiosity and hunger for knowledge and experience, Dragana lived, studied and worked in United States (NY State, California and Florida), France and Cyprus. After 10 years of living abroad, Dragana decided to come back to Belgrade in 2000. She holds Bachelor of Science degree, International Business option, from California State University (summa cum laude). Currently she is completing Master studies in Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Arts, Belgrade. She worked, internationally and in Serbia, for several companies/organizations doing business development and international cooperation. After several years in the business world, she has decided to transfer to something she loves the most: the world of arts and culture. She is very much interested in combining arts and business, getting the best of the both worlds; in project management and running of cultural projects and organizations; in international cooperation within the field of culture; and in life-long learning. Her last post was Market Manager for France and Benelux markets for Tourist Organization of Serbia. Currently she is running Creative Mentorship project as its Project Manager and is putting in it all her great energy, enthusiasm and expertise.

5. Ivica Krizmanić, General Director hotel Esplanade, Croatia

Ivica Max Krizmanic is the General Manager at the Esplanade Zagreb hotel in Croatia. In 2012 he has been entrusted to supervise the operations of the most prestigious 5-star deluxe property in Zagreb and to oversee the quality of the services that his team provides. His success story started almost 24 years ago when he came to the Hotel as a fill-in for a doorman and it was then that he "fell in love with the hotel".

During 24 years of experience at this hotel Max worked in almost every department and progressed steadily. He perfected his skills and knowledge which helped him determine his interests, abilities and values, and steered him in the right direction.

As a GM at the Esplanade, for the last four years Max is a member of EHMA - European Hotel Managers Association, at the National Tourist Board he is Zagreb Tourist Board Representative, he is also a Member of the Supervisory Board at the Zagreb Tourist Board, he is a Member of Tourism Committee at AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce) and for the last couple of years he is a member of SKÅL - International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals and a member of FIJET - The International Federation for Journalists and travel Writers.

It is interesting to mention that Max never in his working life at the Esplanade applied for a job, but his experience and knowledge were always recognized by the management, so the positions were offered to him.

Prof. dr. Danica Purg je predsednica Dekanja in predsednica IEDC-Poslovne šole Bled, ki se je pod njenim vodstvom razvila v prepoznano, mednarodno uveljavljeno šolo, ki se enakovredno postavlja ob bok vrhunskim poslovnim šolam. Doslej jo je obiskalo več kot 73.000 slušateljev iz 78-tih različnih držav. V letu 2015 ji je Združenje Manager podelilo tudi priznanje za življenjsko delo na področju managementa. Professor Danica Purg is the President of the IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia, and the President of CEEMAN, the international association for management development in dynamic societies, which brings together 210 management development institutions from 54 countries. She is also leading the European Leadership Centre (ELC).

Prof.Purg is professor of leadership and effective management at the IEDC-Bled School of Management. Her special field of interest is looking for inspirations for managers from art and other professions. In 2010 prof. Purg received the 2010 International Educator of the Year Award by the Academy of International Business (AIB) for her outstanding achievements in international business education. In 2013 Prof. Danica Purg was nominated Chair of PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education) Steering Committee, the initiative started by UN Global Compact. Prof. Purg is also member of several international advisory boards of well-known business schools, member of European Cultural Parliament (ECP) and President of UN Global Compact Slovenia.

She authored and co-authored several books and numerous articles on leadership issues. 16. Andrej Šifrer, Slovenian singer and Composer

Glasbeno kariero je začel leta 1971 s skupino Tektiti (čeprav je bila njegova prva skupina že prej - Ajvar & Co.). Leta 1975 je posnel svojo prvo skladbo, medijsko pozornost pa je dosegel s skladbo Zoboblues (1976). Leta 1977 (30. 6.) je diplomiral na Pravni fakulteti v Ljubljani. Šifrer je nanizal mnogo glasbenih uspešnic, kot so Vse manj je dobrih gostiln, Moj oče, Bil sem mlad, Debeluhi, Martinov lulček, leta 1998 je tudi prejel nagrado na tekmovanju slovenska popevka za skladbo Za prijatelje. Šifrer je tudi avtor glasbene opreme za eno najbolj gledanih slovenskih TV-nadaljevank, Naša krajevna skupnost.

He is a Slovenian singer and composer. With music career he started in 1971 with music band Tektiti. In 1975 he recorded his first song, after that he became well known with his song (Ajvar & Co.). During his career he graduated in 1977 at Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. He also appeared in many TV- series and received many awards.

17. Igor Marentič, Mayor of Postojna Municipality

Igor Marentič je župan občine Postojne. Na osebnem področju je Igor v prvi vrsti družinski človek, za tem športnik in glasbenik. Skoraj črtet stoletja se je ukvarjal z jadralnim padalstvom, v tem času je v paramotornem letenju osvojil štiri zaporedne naslove državnega prvaka in svetovni rekord v dvosmernem hitrostnem preletu na 20 kilometrov. Šest let je v vlogi zunanjega sodelavca v mesečniku Prestop pomagal pri nastajanju rubrike “Naši kraji iz zraka.”

He has been the mayor of Postojna for two years now. He strives for Postojna to become the business, tourist, cultural, sport and educational centre of the region. Last year they carried out 8 million euros worth of investments into different projects. They finished the renovation and expansion of the central cleaning plant and started an extensive project of renovating the water system. Amongst more important proejcts are also the renovation of the primary school and kindergarten in Planine, the start of the renovation of the intergenerational centre, the renovation of the roads after sleet and the opening of the public kitchen with subsidized meales for the socially disadvantaged. Before that he worked in the wood industry for 24 years – he found his first employment in a local company. He has a bachelor degree in economics and has had numerous leadership functions in his career path, amongst others he was the head of purchasing management and CEO.

All these years he successfully worked in the business and music world. With persistence, strong will and self-discipline, he made it as an athlete, as well – he won four consecutive titles as a national champion in motor gliding. He also set two world records in speed flying. In his personal life, he is a family man first, and an athlete and musician second.

18. Prof. ddr. Marija Ovsenik, Faculty of Organisation Studies, Novo Mesto

Je dvakratna doktorica znanosti, predavateljica na Fakulteti za organizacijske študije v Novem mestu, na Alma mater Europaea – Evropskem centru Maribor in na Fakulteti za socialno delo, Univerze v Ljubljani. Avtorica je številnih izvirnih in preglednih znanstvenih ter strokovnih in poljudnih člankov, objavljenih znanstvenih in strokovnih prispevkov in konferencah, znanstvenih in strokovnih monografij.

Prof. ddr. Marija Ovsenik je tudi občasna predavateljica na tujih univerzah, kot npr. na Göteburgs Universitet, Institutionen för socialt arbete in Cleveland State University.

Marija Ovsenik, Ph.D., is a professor and leading Slovenian expert in the field of social gerontology. She received a doctoral degree from the Faculty of political sciences in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and from the Faculty of organization studies in Novo mesto, Slovenia and completed a specialist program in Human resources management in non-profit organizations at the University of Ljubljana. In 1996 Marija Ovsenik received an award from the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Affairs for exceptional achievements in the field of social protection. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and research publications and Head of the Social Gerontology department at Alma Mater Europaea – ECM.

20. Drago Bahun, Member of Board Directors at Gorenje Group

Zaključil je študij sociologije (kadrovsko-izobraževalna usmeritev) na Fakulteti za sociologijo, politične vede in novinarstvo Univerze v Ljubljani (1979) in nato še podiplomski študij na področju kadrologije na Fakulteti za družbene vede Univerze v Ljubljani. Kariero je začel v Rudarsko-elektroenergetskem kombinatu v Velenju leta 1979, kjer je do konca leta 1984 opravljal delo vodje službe za organizacijo poslovnega sistema.

V Gorenju je zaposlen od leta 1985, ko je nastopil funkcijo podpredsednika poslovodnega odbora sestavljene organizacije za področje družbeno-ekonomskih odnosov. Od leta 1987 do leta 1990 je bil kot član poslovodnega odbora Gorenje Gospodinjski aparati zadolžen za področje kadrov, od leta 1990 do leta 1997 pa je opravljal funkcijo direktorja kadrovsko-splošnega področja. Po preoblikovanju družbe v delniško družbo leta 1997 je postal član začasne uprave in leta 1998 član uprave, odgovoren za kadre in delavski direktor. Od leta 2003 do konca leta 2011 je opravljal funkcijo člana uprave za kadre in organizacijo ter delavskega direktorja. Od 1. 1. 2012 dalje je član uprave – delavski direktor. Aktiven je v različnih institucijah in strokovnih združenjih (Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije, Ministrstvo za delo, Združenje delodajalcev). Je član Smučarske zveze Slovenije ter predsednik organizacijskega komiteja Planica.

Mr. Drago Bahun has served as Member of the Management Board and Labour Director in Gorenje dd since 2003. He is responsible for Organization and Human resources and is Labor Director. In January 1979 he started working for the Mining and Energy Engineering State Combine in Velenje, where he was Head of the Department of Business System Organisation until the end of 1984. At the beginning of Gorenje's rehabilitation, he was invited to join the Management Board of the Gorenje business system. He has been employed at Gorenje since the beginning of 1985 in the following positions: from 1985 to 1987 as Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of the Composite Organisation for the field of Socio-Economic Relations, from 1987 to 1990 as Member of the Management Board of Gorenje

Gospodinjski Aparati responsible for staffing, and from 1990 to 1997 as Director of Human Resources and General Affairs. He was Member of the temporary Management Board after the restructuring of the company into a public limited company in 1997, Member of the Management Board in charge of personnel and simultaneously Work Director for the 1998-2003 term. He is active in several institutions and professional organizations (Chamber of Economy, Ministry of Labour, Slovenian Association of Employers). He was second time elected councillor in the National Council of the RS, where he represents the interests of nine municipalities of the Savinjsko-Saleska region. Mr. Bahun completed the study of sociology, majoring in Human Resources at the Faculty of Sociology, Political Sciences and Journalism at Univerza v Ljubljani in 1979. He also finished postgraduate studies in staffing at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana.

21. Mitja Sojer, Hairdresser and Director at Mič Styling

Najbolj znani slovenski frizer Mitja Sojer oziroma bolj znan kot Mič je v zadnjih letih zgradil pravi frizerski imperij. Po Sloveniji je razpredel mrežo desetih frizerskih in dveh kozmetičnih salonov (v Kranju, Mariboru, Novem mestu, Gorici). Svojo frizersko dejavnost širi tudi v Zagrebu in Beogradu. Njegovo ekipo sestavljajo mladi, nadarjeni in ambiciozni frizerji, ki imajo željo po strokovnem napredovanju in neodvisnostjo. Kljub vsemu delu kot direktor še vedno uči svoje varovance in se tudi sam uči od mladih. S tem je zabrisal meje med generacijami. Filozofija, ki velja v njegovih salonih je, da je potrebno premagovati miselne omejitve.

The well known slovenian hairdresser (alias Mič), has built the Empire of Hair Salon. He has more than ten hairdressing salons and two cosmetic salons spreaded in Slovenia. His team consist full of young, talented and enthusiastic people.

22. Maja Pak, Director at Slovenian Tourist Board

Avgusta 2015 je vlada RS Slovenije ponovno vzpostavila samostojno nacionalno turistično organizacijo, potem ko jo je leta 2012 združila z agencijo Spirit Slovenija. Za vršilko dolžnosti je takrat postavila mag. Majo Pak, ki je Slovensko turistično organizacijo (STO) pred ukinitvijo vodila dve leti in pol. Na položaj direktorice jo je imenovala vlada 3. 3. 2016 na podlagi javnega natečaja. »Zahvaljujoč mojim sodelavcem in vsem partnerjem smo v preteklih mesecih realizirali vse aktivnosti, ki smo si jih postavili kot prioriteto ob nastanku STO,« je ob imenovanju povedala mag. As Director General of the Slovenian Tourist Board, Maja Pak is in charge of the management of business and human resources policy. She prepares the STB's annual programme of work, the annual report and the medium-term marketing plan for Slovenian tourism.

Ms Pak has over 20 years' experience in tourism. Between 1996 and 2006 she was responsible, as STB general secretary, for organising the work of the STB, the strategic planning of marketing, branding, designing a system for measuring efficiency at the STB using the Business Scorecard methodology, etc. Since October 2006 she has headed the STB's research and development department, where among other things she has been responsible for the European Destination of Excellence (EDEN) project and promoting the development and marketing of green (sustainable) tourism. Before joining the STB she worked at the Zdravilišče Rogaška spa and health resort in Rogaška Slatina (1992–1996). In 2003 Maja Pak received a master's degree in entrepreneurship from Ljubljana University (Faculty of Economics). Her thesis was on the use of Business Scorecard at the STB.

Ivo Boscarol is a producer of ultralight and light aircraft, based in Ajdovščina, Slovenia. at Pipistrel Aircraft. He is responsible for central company guidelines and sales trends. Boscarol is most known as an aircraft designer and entrepreneur. In the eighties of the past century the era of hang gliding and powered hang gliding arrived and Boscarol, though flying private aircraft of any kind was not legal, started an own private business, Boscarol studio, a small-scale production of motorized hang gliders, mainly for customers in the neighboring Italy. He had to test his prototypes, first hang gliders, later ultra-light airplanes, and to avoid too much attention he flew between dusk and darkness. The flying times and shape of the wings earned the aircraft the nickname "pipistrel", a word locals use in dialect for bat. It is derived from Latin Pipistrellus, the locals got it from the Italian pipistrello.

After a struggling first decade the markets began to open up following the exhibition of Pipistrel Sinus ultra-light aircraft at the 1995 AERO Friedrichshafen European general aviation trade show. Commitment to light designs and fuel efficiency, possible especially in the category of motor gliders paved the way to wide recognition of the company and his ideas.

Most visible was the successful participation at several NASA Centennial Challenges, prize contests aimed at engaging the public at large to help advance the aeronautic and space technologies. It all began with the 2007 NASA Personal Air Vehicle (PAV) Challenge competition (Pipistrel Virus) and was followed in 2008, when the event was renamed to NASA General Aviation Technology Challenge (GAT). The most important of all was the participation at the Google-sponsored 2011 NASA Green Flight Challenge (GFC) competition with a $1,350.000 main prize, the largest in aviation history.

Competition rules asked for an aviation breakthrough. The competing aircraft were required to fly 200 miles in less than two hours; reach an average speed of at least 100 mph; take off at a distance of less than 2,000 feet to clear a 50-foot obstacle; deliver a decibel rating of less than 78 dBA at full-power takeoff while using less than one gallon of gasoline per occupant. 10 planes entered the competition, 3 of them actually flew and only 2 met the above requirements. The contest-winning Taurus G4 electric plane was of an unconventional design, with two fuselages and a large (200 horsepower) motor in between. Such a design was required to accommodate the over 75 kilowatt-hours of lithium-ion polymer batteries, nearly half the weight of a 2,350 pound plane.

The development of this aircraft, led by Boscarol, 5 months from concept to production was achieved using high performance computing (HPC) technologies including computational fluid dynamics. It won the 2014 HPC Innovation Excellence Award.

24. Mag. Silvana Šonc, Director at Hospital Sežana

Graduated as Master in Social Welfare at the University of Maribor (1997), and is employed at the Hospital of Sežana since 1998. She has been a lecturer in Management and Social Welfare, and most recently a senior lecturer at the University of Primorska. Currently, she is working on project management and research in the field of quality of life for patients involved in rehabilitation programs at the hospital. She is also active in the researching - reha bilitation and diseases of Chronic Pulmonary patients. She is managing and actively participating in cross-border cooperation projects and leading a group to prepare the project for geriatric rehabilitation.

26. Prof. ddr. Matjaž Mulej, Professor of Systems and Innovation Theory at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Honorary Member

Prof. ddr. Matjaž MULEJ, 1941, je doktor ekonomskih znanosti (s področja teorije sistemov) in doktor menedžmentskih znanosti (s področja inovacijskega menedžmenta), zaslužni profesor teorije sistemov in inovacij. Deluje na Ekonomsko-poslovni fakulteti Univerze v Mariboru. Je avtor dialektične teorije sistemov in teorije inovativnega poslovanja (za tranzicijske razmere).

Objavljal je v več kot 40 deželah in služboval v šestih. Objavil in uredil je preko 60 knjig in zbornikov. Petnajst semestrov bil je gostujoči profesor in raziskovalec na univerzah v tujini, med drugim na Cornell U., ZDA. Je član treh mednarodnih akademij znanosti in umetnosti (Salzburg, Pariz, Dunaj), v eni od njih je predsednik (za sistemske in kibernetske znanosti). Do aprila 2010 je bil predsednik IFSR.

Prof. ddr. Matjaž Mulej, 1941, has a PhD in economic sciences (system theory) and management sciences (innovation management). Through his research he earned the title professor emeritus for system theory and inovation. Ddr. Mulej now works at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Maribor. He's the author of the dialectic theory of systems and inovative business theory (for an economy in transition). He has published in more than 40 countries and conducted research in six. Ddr. Mulej published and edited more than 60 books and journals. He worked as a visiting scholar and researcher at universities abroad, including Cornell U., USA. Ddr. Mulej is a member of three international science and art academies (Salzburg, Paris, Vienna). Up till 2010 he was the president of IFSR.

Zgodba Mariborskega vodovoda se začenja leta 1901, ko je bil zgrajen prvi vodnjak, 38 kilometrov dolgo omrežje pa je omogočalo dostop do pitne vode 38.000 prebivalcem. Omrežje se je postopno podaljševalo, v povojnem obdobju pa je potekala predvsem sanacija poškodovanih vodovodnih naprav. Pred pol stoletja je bil zgrajen prvi vodnjak, na še danes največjem črpališču v severovzhodni Sloveniji, Vrbanski plato. Zadnjih deset let poteka intenzivna obnova vodovodnega omrežja, postopno pa se je opustila tudi dezinfekcija s klorom na območju mesta Maribor. Dolžina vodovodnega omrežja, ki je v opravljanju Mariborskega vodovoda, danes presega 1.567 kilometrov, s pitno vodo iz tega omrežja se oskrbuje dobra desetina prebivalstva Slovenije.

Mariborski vodovod, javno podjetje d.d.

Story of the Mariborski vodovod begins in year 1901, when the first fountain was built. 3.809 meters long water network offered access to drinking water of 38.000 inhabitants. The network has gradually prolong, in the postwar period remediation of damaged water supply system took place. Half a century ago the first fountain on today’s largest pumping station in northeastern Slovenia, Vrbanski plato was built. Over the past ten years an intensive renovation of the water supply network takes place and the disinfection with chloride in the City of Maribor was gradually abandoned. The length of water supply network today is 1,567 kilometers and supplies a good tenth of the Slovenia’s population.

The effort of the management and other employees in recent years was rewarded with several awards. Občina Šentrupert kot samostojna občina deluje od 1. januarja 2007. Razteza se na površini 49 km2, okoli 2800 prebivalcev pa živi v 25 naseljih.

13. Obrtno-podjetniška Zbornica Slovenije

Obrtno-podjetniška zbornica Slovenije (OZS) je krovna organizacija, ki skupaj z 62 območnimi obrtno- podjetniškimi zbornicami (OOZ), tvori obrtno-podjetniški zbornični sistem. OZS in vse OOZ so samostojne pravne osebe, vodijo pa jih obrtniki-funkcionarji prostovoljno.

Obrtno-podjetniška zbornica Slovenije s svojim delovanjem in komuniciranjem z javnostmi podpira in promovira tradicionalne vrednote svojega članstva: delavnost, marljivost, vztrajnost, poštenost, čast, etičnost, kakovost in odličnost, znanje in inovativnost. Zavzema se za ohranjanje tradicije in posebnosti obrti. Skrbi za enakovredno vlogo območnih obrtno-podjetniških zbornic in tako kot članom, tudi njim nudi vso strokovno pomoč in podporo. Ključno vlogo v OZS imajo strokovne sekcije, saj predstavljajo temelj povezovanja obrtnikov. Doma in v Evropski uniji se bori za boljše razmere za gospodarjenje v obrti, mikro, malih in srednjih podjetjih. Obrtniki so s svojo zbornico postali enakovreden partner v dialogu z državo in sindikati.

Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia

The Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (the Chamber) is an umbrella organisation comprising the craft and small business chamber system jointly with 62 regional chambers of craft and small business (regional chambers). The Chamber and the regional chambers are independent legal entities managed on a voluntary basis by craftsmen – officials (functionaries). The Chamber acts according to its mission - it supports and promotes the traditional values of its members: hard work, diligence, preservation of tradition, honesty, honour, ethics, quality and excellence, knowledge and innovation. The Chamber advocates preserving the tradition and features of small business. It provides for an equal role of the regional chambers and offers full expert support and assistance to its members. The key role in the Chamber is played by professional sections because they represent the foundation for linking craftsmen.

The Chamber uses its efforts in Slovenia and Europe to improve the conditions for doing business in craft, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Craftsmen and their chamber have become an equal partner in the dialogue with the government and trade unions.

Realizing the power of knowledge and information for the development and for achieving one´s goals, the Chamber organizes the transfer of knowledge and information from those members and employees that already possess them to other members, students and apprentices, by mentorship, lecture, discussion and practical training. It also provides for informal knowledge, important for craftsmen and small entrepreneurs as well, by organizing lectures, fairs and business meetings.

The Chamber exercises certain powers conferred by public law in the field of the craft sector and is thus involved in the field of professional education, master-craftman exams, national qualification system etc.

14. Razvojni center Srca Slovenije, d. o. o.

Razvojni center Srca Slovenije je organizacija, ki že od leta 2000 vodi, koordinira in povezuje razvojne projekte območja Srce Slovenije. Z zanesljivostjo, strokovnostjo in izkušnjami. Ekipa Razvojnega centra Srca Slovenije d. o. o. v sodelovanju s številnimi lokalnimi, regionalnimi, nacionalnimi in evropskimi partnerji uresničuje projekte, ki povečujejo kakovost življenja ljudi v regiji. Člani ekipe so mlajši, a izkušeni in med seboj odlično povezani strokovnjaki za posamezna področja razvoja. Vpeti so v mednarodno partnersko mrežo s skoraj 200 organizacijami iz več kot 30 držav ter sodelovali v 23 mednarodnih projektih.

Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia

Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia is an organisation which has been leading, co-ordinating and connecting development projects of the area since 2000. By its reliability, professionalism and experiences! The team of the Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia, in cooperation with numerous local, regional, national and European partners, realizes projects to enhance the life quality of people in the region. The members of the team are younger but experienced and excellently interconnected professionals for individual fields of development. They are included into international partnership network with almost 200 organisations from more than 30 countries and has so far participated at 23 international projects.

The team of the Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia at its work considers the needs of the local environment all the time. To realize this, it organizes, leads and coordinates networks, like the network of communities and municipalities, the network of tourist bidders, network of kindergartens and schools, the network of farmers, the network of craftsmen, the network of entrepreneurs.

15. Srednja prometna šola Maribor

Je sodobna šola s kakovostnim izobraževalnim programom in strokovnim kadrom. V okviru zavoda Prometna šola delujeta dve organizacijski enoti, in sicer Srednja prometna šola z dijaškim (študentskim) domom in Višja prometna šola. V srednji šoli so leta 2008 začeli izobraževati tudi po prenovljenem programu Logistični tehnik in novem programu Tehnik varovanja.

16. Tax-Fin-Lex, d. o. o.

Podjetje Tax-Fin-Lex je bilo ustanovljeno pred 11 leti (2004) in ima svoj portal Tax-Fin-Lex. Z informacijami na njem pokriva in povezuje tri segmente vsebin: davčno, finančno in pravno področje. So edini, ki imajo na enem mestu zbrano vso ta trenutek veljavno zakonodajo (prečiščena besedila), ki je povezana z davčnimi, finančnimi in pravnimi informacijami. Na portalu so na voljo tudi lastni e- mediji: e-dnevnik Lex-Novice, e-tednik TFL Glasnik in e-mesečnik Zakonodajni Supervizor, ki o novostih obveščajo več kot 30.000 registriranih uporabnikov. Družba Tax-Fin-Lex je lansko leto v celoti prenovila portal, letos pa nadaljuje z dodajanjem vsebin in ustvarjanjem novih rešitev. Najnovejši dosežek tako predstavljajo E-paketi, ki so zasnovani z namenom, da lahko kadarkoli dostopate do čistopisa zakona in čistopisa njegovega komentarja v on- line obliki. Obsegajo tudi bogat nabor drugih ažurnih pravnih informacij iz posameznega področja delovanja vsake organizacije/podjetja, njihov osrednji del pa predstavlja e-komentar zakona, ki bo ob vsaki spremembi sproti ažuriran.

Tax-Fin-Lex, d. o. o.

The company Tax-Fin-Lex was founded 11 years ago (2004), with the eponymous portal following in 2005. The portal Tax-Fin-Lex covers various information from three different segments of content: tax, finance and law. It is the only portal in Slovenia that has all current legislation gathered in one place, linked to relevant information on taxes, finances and law. They also provide their own e-media for over 30.000 registered users: daily Lex-Novice, weekly TFL Glasnik and monthly Zakonodajni Supervizor.

Last year the company completely renovated it's portal and this year they are continuing it's development by adding content and creating new solutions. The most recent one being e-packages (E-paketi), that offer consolidated legislation and comment of the corresponding act in an on-line form. They also include a rich set of other updated legal information from various spheres of operation of each organization/company, it's central part is the e-comment of the Act, which will be updated regularly.

17. Televizija Novo mesto, d. o .o.

Televizija Novo mesto d.o.o, izdajateljica medija Televizija Vaš kanal je televizija dobrih zgodb. Leta 2015 je, kot najstarejša lokalna in regionalna televizija v Slovenji, zapisala v svojo arhivsko zakladnico že četrt stoletja njenega delovanja in je danes osrednja regionalna televizija v Sloveniji. Njeno temeljno poslanstvo je, skozi regionalni televizijski program, ki mu je podeljen status posebnega pomena, delovati v javnem in kulturnem interesu.

18. Višja strokovna šola za gostinstvo in turizem Maribor

Višja strokovna šola za gostinstvo in turizem Maribor (VSGT) v 2016 praznuje že 18 let delovanja. Naše poslanstvo je kakovostno izobraževanje in usposabljanje kadrov v gostinsko-turistični dejavnosti, pri čemer zasledujemo filozofijo prijazne šole, ki spodbuja kreativen in inovativen odnos s turističnim gospodarstvom, mednarodno mobilnost zaposlenih in študentov ter dodatno razvijanje kompetenc, skladno s potrebami in razvojnimi tendencami gospodarstva. V začetku leta 2015 smo se preselili v nove sodobno opremljene prostore MIC – Akademije kulinarike in turizma, kjer izvajamo različne delavnice za splošno in strokovno javnost, mojstrske izpite, potrjevanja nacionalnih poklicnih kvalifikacij, dogodke in projekte ter tako postajamo središče vseživljenjskega učenja gostinsko- turistične in velneške dejavnosti, v šolski Restavraciji Sedem, ki deluje v okviru Akademije, pa študentom omogočamo praktično izobraževanje. Posebnost VSGT je tradicionalna prireditev Ambasador gostoljubja, kjer vsako leto izberemo študenta, ki je v času študija pokazal izjemno kreativnost in predanost stroki in s svojim strokovnim delom prispeval k promociji gostoljubja doma in v tujini. Svojo kreativnost in znanje pa študenti redno preizkušajo tudi na številnih nacionalnih in mednarodnih tekmovanjih najboljših šol iz stroke, kjer smo osvojili že 35 zlatih, 45 srebrnih, 23 bronastih medalj in 2 medalji odličnosti.

In 2016 Vocational College for Catering and Tourism Maribor (VSGT) celebrates 18 years of operation. Its mission has always been the excellence in education and training of hospitality business personnel, while pursuing the philosophy of friendly school that encourages creative and innovative approach towards the tourist economy and the international mobility of students and staff. They have been developing further competences in accordance with the needs and tendencies of development of the economy. In early 2015 they moved to the city centre into new and modern premises of Bussines to Bussines Education Centre, MIC Academy of Culinary Arts and Tourism, which is considered as an outstanding achievement. Since then they have been conducting a great number of workshops for the public and experts, master craftsman exams, national vocational qualifications certification, events and projects, thus becoming the centre of lifelong learning, hospitality and wellness activities of the area. College has also been providing students with highly professional practical training in the school Restaurant 7. The specialty of College is a traditional event called “Ambassador of hospitality”, where at the end of every year a student with the greatest study achievements, creativity, and dedication to the profession is promoted. IFIMES – the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies

IFIMES, based in Ljubljana – Slovenia, gathers and selects various policy information and sources on key conflict areas in the world. The Institute analyses mutual relations with an aim to promote the importance of reconciliation, early prevention/preventive diplomacy and disarmament/confidence building measures in regional or global conflicts, resolution of existing conflicts and the role of preventive actions against new global disputes.

The area of research and work of the IFIMES Institute encompasses the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), and the Balkans – South Eastern Europe as well as certain regions of Asia, where relations among different entities are additionally puzzled by religious, ethnic, national and racial conflicts.

4. Občina Ljutomer

Malokje sta lepota in prisrčnost narave tako lepo združeni s prijaznostjo in gostoljubnostjo ljudi, kot je to na območju Prlekije. Klopotec, to staro štajersko kolo na veter, edinstveno strašilo za ptice, vam bo pokazal pot.

Mestno jedro sestavljajo trije trgi s svojimi znamenji. V župnijski cerkvi sv. Janeza Krstnika, ki stoji na Miklošičevem trgu se prepleta gotski in bogat baročni stil. Na Glavnem trgu stoji prenovljena Mestna hiša, nekdanji stari trški Rotovž iz leta 1833.

Konkurenčnost podjetja je v veliki meri odvisna od usposobljenosti zaposlenih. Zavedajo se, da je konkurenca na trgu vedno močnejša in usposobljeni zaposleni lahko pripomorejo, da pri kupcu postanejo številka ena. Tega dejstva se v podjetju Plastika Skaza zavedajo, zato so leta 2013 začeli s uvajanjem Vitke organizacije. Implementacija je posegla tudi v organizacijsko strukturo podjetja. Naredili so 12 mini družb, kjer se področja dela medsebojno prepletajo. Začeli so graditi sistem prenosa internih znanj. Ta pristop se jim zdi najboljši, saj imajo v podjetju specifična znanja na področjih, kjer poslujejo. Hkrati pa je ta način dostopnejši večjemu številu zaposlenih in organizacijsko lažje in hitrejše izvedljivo. Spodbujajo prenos znanja med mini družbami, saj na tak način gradijo ekipno delo in zaupanje med sodelavci.

Sestavili so katalog znanj iz področji, kjer lahko sodelavcem ponudijo znanja, ki povečajo njihovo usposobljenost na delovnem mestu.

The competitiveness of companies is largely dependent on the skills of employees. They are aware that competition in the market is stronger every day and trained employees can contribute to the buyer to become number one. In the company Plastika Skaza have started in 2013 with the introduction of Lean organization. Implementation changed the organizational structure of the company. They have 12 mini-companies, where the scope of work intertwined. They started to build a system of internal knowledge transfer. This approach seems to them the best, because they have in the company specific knowledge in the areas where they operate. At the same time, this method accessible to a larger number of employees and organization is easier and faster. They encourage knowledge transfer between mini - companies, as a way to build teamwork and trust among co - workers.

They have compiled a catalog of knowledge from areas where employees can offer skills that increase their skills in the workplace.

7. RIC Bela krajina

Razvojno informacijski center Bela krajina je javni zavod, ki skrbi za promocijo in pospeševanje turizma in podjetništva v Beli krajini.

RIC Bela krajina deluje na področju spodbujanja dodatnih razvojnih nalog v razvojni regiji JV Slovenija - Bela krajina, spodbujanja razvoja gospodarstva, promocije, informiranja in svetovanja na področju podjetništva ter Programu spodbujanja konkurenčnosti in ukrepov razvojne podpore.

Šola je bila ustanovljena leta 1962, z imenom Center strokovnih šol. Od začetka leta 2000 šola deluje pod novim imenom: Srednja poklicna in strokovna šola Bežigrad – Ljubljana.

9. Srednja zdravstvena šola Ljubljana

Po pestri zgodovinski preteklosti, je vodstvo šole prevzela Marija Verbič in šola uspešno nadaljuje svoje temeljno poslanstvo: vzgojiti in izobraziti sposobne in odgovorne zdravstvene delavce. Poslanstvo zavoda je, da izobrazi in vzgoji zdravstvenega delavca, ki je pripravljen za poklic in nadaljnje izobraževanje, ki je ustvarjalen, ima razvite spodobnosti, spretnosti in druge osebnostne lastnosti, potrebne za svojo razvojno pot. Ima lasten pogled na svet kot samostojen, samozavesten, kritičen in odgovoren posameznik.

After years of the school’s eventful history, its leadership was taken over by Marija Verbič. The school has successfully continued to fulfill its main mission which is educating capable and responsible healthcare workers. They are committed to raising and educating healthcare workers who are equipped to enter the profession and are prepared to further their education. As well-rounded individuals with their own world view, they are capable of critical thinking. They have acquired the requisite skills and competences, are creative, independent, self-confident, accountable, and have other personal characteristics necessary to pursue their career.

Steklarna Hrastnik je inovativna in dinamična poslovna skupina z več kot 150 letno tradicijo. Izdelavo stekla je v zadnjih letih dopolnila sodobna tehnologija, s katero izdelujejo unikatne, inovativne in tehnološko zelo zahtevne steklarske izdelke v embalažnem, namiznem in razsvetljavnem steklu. Z nenehnim razvojem, posluhom za oblikovanje, skrbno izbranimi surovinami, prilagodljivostjo željam strank in izjemno znanje zaposlenih – zagotavljajo kupcu tehnološko in kakovostno dovršen izdelek iz enega najčistejših stekel na svetu. Ob tem pa tudi ne pozabljajo na okolje - z izbiro najsodobnejše tehnologije in z uvedbo vrste okoljskih izboljšav, ki temeljijo na lastnem znanju dosegajo nižjo rabo energije in vode ob povečanih proizvodnih kapacitetah.

Kakovost je na prvem mestu Z vlaganji v zaposlene, sodobno tehnologijo, in razvoj dosegajo kakovost končnih izdelkov. Vedno iščejo nove načine za izboljšanje lastnosti steklarskih izdelkov, povečanje trdnosti in sijaja stekla ter izboljšanje obstojnosti končnega izdelka. Njihovi kozarci iz namiznega programa tako, na primer, zdržijo tudi do 3.000 pranj v pomivalnem stroju brez ene same praske.

1. Turistično društvo Bohinj

Turistično društvo Bohinj pod tem imenom deluje že od leta 1946, kot naslednik podobnih organizacij v preteklosti. Njihovi člani so v veliki meri ljudje, ki se ukvarjajo s turizmom. Društvo danes šteje 411 članov različnih starosti.

Namen in cilji društva so spodbujanje razvoja turizma, krepitev turistične kulture in uresničevanje skupnih ciljev turističnega razvoja v občini Bohinj. Ohranjanje kulturnega etnološkega izročila, pospeševanje turistične promocije, čisto in urejeno okolje so glavni cilji.

Društvo je dejavno na področju posredovanje pri oddajanju privatnih turističnih kapacitet; gospodarjenje in upravljanje z objekti in napravami pri slapu Savica, ki so v lasti društva; upravljanje s kapacitetami lastnega kampa in gostilne Danica; prodaja turističnih spominkov, organizacija prireditev v Bohinju, izletov in potovanj.

Namene in cilje uresničuje 12 redno zaposlenih v društvu, ki se redno izobražuje in usposablja tako področju stroke kot tudi osebne rasti. Temu delu je namenjanja posebna pozornost. Poleti se jim pridruži najmanj 30 oseb. Prevladujejo študenti in sezonsko zaposlene osebe.

Društvo sodeluje s srednjimi šolami ter fakultetami. Zaposleni, dijaki in študenti med seboj z zanimanjem izmenjujejo nova znanja in dolgoletne izkušnje. Predvsem spoznajo, da so turizem ljudje. Dobro usposobljen ter zadovoljen posameznik je ključ do kakovostne storitve.

Bohinj Tourist Association

Bohinj Tourist Association under this name has been operating since 1946 as a successor to similar organizations in the past. Its members are people who live with tourism. Today has 411 members of different ages.

The purpose and objectives of the Association are to promote the development of tourism, strengthening the tourism culture and their visio of tourism development in the municipality of Bohinj. Ethnological preservation of cultural heritage, more of tourism promotion, clean and tidy environment are the main goals.

The Association offer activies and services of private tourist rooms and apartments, Savica Waterfall, camp and restaurant Danica, souvenirs shops, organization of events in Bohinj, excursions and trips. The purpose and goals realizes 12 employees in the society which are regularly trained in both; in the area of expertise as well as personal growth with special attention. In summer, join them at least 30 people. Dominated by students and seasonal employees.

The Association collaborates with secondary schools and universities. Employees and students share with each other interest, new knowledge and years of experience. They find out that tourism grows by people. Well trained and happy person is the key to high-quality services.

2. Restavracija "JB" Janez Bratovž, s. p.

JB restavracija v centru Ljubljane – ena izmed 100 najboljših restavracij na svetu – je zatočišče za ljubitelje prefinjenega okusa. V njej boste tisti, ki razumete okus popolnosti, uživali v kulinarični umetnosti chefa Janeza Bratovža.

Jedi temeljijo na odnosu med štirimi osnovnimi elementi: zemlja, voda, zrak in ogenj. Voda je znamenje slanega, ogenj grenkobe, zrak kislega in zemlja sladkega okusa.

Njihovo poslanstvo je: Zdravljenje in rehabilitacija bolnikov, podaljšano bolnišnično zdravljenje, izvajanje programa dialize, opravljanje zdravstvenih storitev v skladu s strokovno doktrino, kakovost storitev, visoka stopnja zadovoljstva bolnikov ter njihovih svojcev in zaposlenih.

Čeprav je Toyota tudi za japonske razmere mlada (ustanovljena leta 1937), je danes največja japonska tovarna in prva po velikosti na svetu. Na domačem trgu dosega okrog 50-odstotni delež prodanih avtomobilov. V prodajni paleti ima skoraj 30 modelov osebnih in terenskih avtomobilov in limuzinskih kombijev. Večina modelov je na voljo v več karoserijskih različicah, z različnimi motorji, v zadnjem času pa je poseben poudarek na hibridni tehnologiji pogona, saj ima Toyota vodilno vlogo pri razvoju in izdelavi okolju prijaznih vozil.
