  • Cerro Blanco
Cerro Blanco (02°10'S 80°02'W) is a protected aid of various fieldguides3,5,8,9 and were made dry tropical forest approximately 15 km west 15 to 45 days apart throughout the 10 month of Guayaquil, Guayas province, south-west period. Trails surveyed were Quebrada Canoa, Ecuador. The 2000 ha forest is at the south Buenavista, the road between the Mirador de ern end of the Cordillera de la Costa that runs los Monos and Quebrada de los Papagayos (see from the Gulf of Guayaquil, north to the prov Map).

  • Altitudinal Distribution and Conservation of Raptors in Southwestern Colombia
THE JOIYRNAL OF RAPTOR RESEARCH A QUARTERLY PUBLICATION OF THE RAPTOR RESEARCH FOUNDATION, INC. VOL. 25 SPRING 1991 NO. 1 J. RaptorRes. 25(1):1-8 ¸ 1991 The Raptor ResearchFoundation, Inc. ALTITUDINAL DISTRIBUTION AND CONSERVATION OF RAPTORS IN SOUTHWESTERN COLOMBIA JEAN-MARC THIOLLAY Laboratoired'Ecologie, Ecole Normale Supgrieure, 46 rue d'Ulm, 75230Paris, Cedex05, France ABSTP•CT.--Diurnal raptors were surveyedduring four weeks along a gradient from sea level to 4000 m on the Pacific slopesof the Andes in southwesternColombia. However, most of the work on habitat selection, density estimates and conservationproblems was donewithin the subtropicallevel (1200-2400 m) in the 3200-haforest reserve of La Planadaand its surroundingmosaic of pastures, cultivated fields and disturbedforest. Twenty-two raptor specieswere recorded.Forest species richness does not change noticeablyat successivelevels between 0 and 1000 m, but this richnessdecreases rapidly above1500 m. The numberof opengrassland species tends to increasewith elevation.Extensive deforestation is a major threat to the survivalof severalforest raptors, including endemics from the humid westernslope of the Andes. Some sufficiently large areasof relativelyundisturbed forest, suitable for raptor conservation, still remain between500 and 2000 m but very few can be found aboveor below this level.

  • 1000 CHAPTER 6 the Creation Of
1000 CHAPTER 6 The creation of man: creation, not macroevolution – mind the gap. a] Human Anatomy: the generally united creationist school. b] Spotting the wood from the trees - the similarities of homology in promisians, simians, satyr beasts, & men; & the generally united creationist school. c] Soul-talk: i] Distinguishing man from animals - the soul gives man a god focus & capacity for religious belief in the supernatural, and conscience morality seen in a moral code. ii] A revised taxonomy for primates must replace the erroneous twofold taxonomy used for primates. iii] Distinguishing satyr beasts & Man, the Apers & Adamites: A clean cut – like putting a knife through butter. A] Men have souls, animals do not: the APER (African Pre-Edenic Race). B] An Aper Case Study: Australia. C] People “going ape” over the Apers. iv] Where creationists do differ: Subspeciation with respect to man. A] Where are the Adamites in the fossil record? B] Did God create diverse human races? A short preliminary discussion. d] The illusive search for Mitochondrial Adam & Eve: “I know that my genes have ancestors back to Adam: whereas paleontologists can only speculate that fossils they find had descendants.” e] Perforated bones: “Blowing the bone whistle” on “anthropologists” playing loony tunes on “bone flutes.” f] Frustrated Darwinian Macroevolutionists use fraudulent “transitional fossils” against the generally United Creationist School. (Chapter 6) a] Human Anatomy: the generally united creationist school. In 1802, creationist Paley used as a teleological argument of the human body, saying, “For my part, I take my stand in human anatomy 1.” This validly looks to the complexities of human biology to see a design pointing to a Divine Designer.
