3.0 CERTIFICATES OF IDENTITY (ATTESTATION)

A witness must sign the attestation on the Admission Form he/she should also certify both sides of the photographs of the applicant without obliterating the candidates identity. Care should be taken not to write on the candidates face. The witness must be one of the following persons.

a) A clergyman or an Imam b) A Senior Public Officer c) A Registered Medical Officer d) A solicitor e) The Head of a recognized Training College or Secondary School. Applicants who are still in School should have their current Principal‟s witness and attest them.

3.1 ACKNOWLEDGMENT CARD The Applicants name, address, and Form Number must be written on the Acknowledgment Card.

3.2 COURSES Applicants who restrict their choices to only one course should note that they would put themselves at a disadvantage during the admissions exercise.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS

Completed application forms together with two (2) photocopies each of any certificate or result slips, birth certificate/baptismal card and RMU official receipt/ Post Office receipt/Pay-in-slip issued on purchase of the application form should reach the Office of the Registrar not later than FRIDAY, MAY 18, 2012

These notes are provided so that applicants can complete the forms provided along with this BRIEF HISTORY OF REGIONAL MARITIME UNIVERSITY booklet without much difficulty. Candidates are therefore expected to read through this booklet very carefully before completing the Application Forms. BACKGROUND
