I want to know if there is a certain standard a movie has to meet to become a cult movie and find out if the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show meets that standard. This movie tells the story of two “ordinary” people who happen to knock on the door of Frank-N-Furter, an alien who wants to create the perfect man. This movie has become one of the best known cult movies of all time and can even be called “the ultimate cult movie.” It has one of the steadiest fan bases ever known and the fans have created their own mini-society based on the movie and a ritual has evolved around watching it at the cinema. By reviewing the behaviour of cult fans I will find out what sets them apart from “normal” fans and why they are often frowned upon by those outside of the cult society. I will look into the cult elements that can be found in this movie and find out if it is justifiable to call the movie one of the best known cult films today.

July 5, 2017 The Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo Governor of New York State New York State State Capitol Building Albany, New York 12224 RE: Veto of A5036B/S4845B Dear Governor Cuomo: We are a diverse group of adoptees, organizations, birthparents, adoptive parents, professionals, and allies who support equal civil and human rights for all adoptees. Many of us also work on behalf of millions of adult adoptees in the United States, including more than 600,000 in New York, who seek to restore the right of adult adoptees to obtain their own original birth certificates (OBC), without restriction or condition. We are united in requesting: 1. Your veto of A5036B/S4845B (“A5036B”), which if enacted will continue to abrogate the rights of New York adoptees; 2. Your return of A5036B to the New York State Assembly with a note to move forward on a different, better, and fiscally responsible bill that provides actual and genuine equality for adult adoptees; and 3. Your support of currently active adoptee rights companion bills in the New York State Assembly and Senate (S5169A/A6821A). Unlike A5036B, these bills unequivocally restore the right of New York adult adoptees to access their own original birth certificates. They recognize that New York’s outdated 1930s-era adoption policies do not promote anyone’s rights, particularly in the age of DNA tests, genetic genealogy, social media, and other technological advances that have made adoption secrecy obsolete. What A5036B Does A5036B is not an adoptee rights bill. If enacted, it will not restore an adult adoptee’s right to an original birth certificate.

The plow was purchased about 1897 by Adam Meisinger from Louis A. Reiche, who had a store on south Main Street at Jackson Avenue in Naperville. It was restored in 1979 by Derryl Meisinger, son of Earl and Marge Meisinger and great-grandson of Adam Meisinger -2- 1. • • -^i Preface Naperville has a rich heritage pertaining to the farmers in the area, past and present. We commemorate those hardy men and women, who worked so hard to bring Naperville from a prairie wilderness to a thriving city. This collection of 150 Family Histories and 70 photographs are but a sampling of the farm families who made contributions to the "Farmers' monument" on the Quarry Riverwalk. These histories date from the early 1800's to the present, as some families are still actively engaged in tilling the soil.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Movie Script Prepared and Edited by: Katzir Tal ([email protected]) Mar 17 1999 General Information (or "How to read The Script") : Audience instructions are in braces. Text in quotes is to be shouted. The instruction 'echo' means that the following line is to be shouted in unison with the film. Instructions for "screen person" (i.e. someone who is near the screen and can do those things - not all the audience) appear in braces as well. The word 'or' means alternative lines. The "/" character means alternative text within the same line. The "<...>" characters mean that it should be replaced by what's written in them. (since in this one script there are lines from many sources. There are times when more than one line could be used. In these cases, they all appear). Call-backs to call-backs appear directly after each other, up to long dialogues, and sometimes even alternative dialogues (with 'or' between them). I know this is confusing, but "It's something you'll get used to"... Whenever Brad appears, or introduced in some way, the line "Asshole!" is appropriate. Whenever Janet appears, use the line "Slut!". The longer line "Slut! Bitch! Whore!", or say "Rice" and pelt the virgins with rice. Whenever Rocky appears, shout "Beefcake! BEEFCAKE!". Whenever the Narrator (Charles Gray) appears, have "chin sex" (go up to the screen and jump up under it with a hand up) You can shout "Boring", and throw paper balls, or say "Charles Gray, he's OK!", or "He's got no fucking neck!".

In 1951 the New Jersey State Teachers College at Paterson changed its residence to a hilkop campus in Wayne. From 1954 to 1966 Dr. Marion Shea was president of the college. She succeeded Dr. Clair S. Wight- man who served the college commu- nity for over 25 years. Dr. Shea was the first woman to be named presi- dent of the college and she had the first inauguration in the history of William Paterson. Marion Shea's hope, during her administration, was the expansion of the college to accomodate its new programs and a rapidly growing enrollment. The first step towards this goal was the completion of Wayne Hall in the fall of 1954. The building was to serve as the main dining area for faculty and students. The library was the next building to be completed in January of 1956. The library was named after Sara Byrd Askew who organized the NJ Library Commission in 1905. She served as the commission's secre- tary until 1942. In April of 1956 Wightman gym was completed which aided the growth of the college's athletic pro- gram by providing a place to prac- tice and for home games.
