DIRECCIÓN NACIONAL DE ALIMENTOS Y BEBIDAS AVISO OFICIAL- CONSULTA PÚBLICA Designaciones de origen de la CONFEDERACIÓN SUIZA y el PRINCIPADO DE LIECHTENSTEIN que solicitan protección en calidad de indicaciones geográficas en la REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA. En el marco de las negociaciones en curso del MERCOSUR (Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay) con la Asociación Europea de Libre Comercio (EFTA) para la celebración de un acuerdo comercial (en lo sucesivo, «el Acuerdo») que incluya un apartado sobre las indicaciones geográficas, la Asociación Europea de Libre Comercio (EFTA) ha solicitado, con miras a su protección en virtud del mismo, la lista de nombres adjunta. Para ello se ha dictado el día 24 de septiembre de 2019 la Resolución Nº 61/2019 del MINISTERIO DE AGRICULTURA, GANADERÍA Y PESCA que regula el procedimiento para la publicación, difusión, recepción de objeciones y formulación de dictámenes técnico-jurídicos. EL INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE VITIVINICULTURA (INV) y la DIRECCIÓN NACIONAL DE ALIMENTOS Y BEBIDAS del MINISTERIO DE AGRICULTURA, GANADERÍA Y PESCA de la REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA examinará si, en el marco del futuro Acuerdo, procede conceder protección a dichos nombres en calidad de indicaciones geográficas al amparo del artículo 22, apartado 1, del Acuerdo sobre los Aspectos de los Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual relacionados con el Comercio de la ORGANIZACIÓN MUNDIAL DEL COMERCIO.
