It was an educational trip in order to broaden the horizon of students. They visited IRCBM labs and gathered knowledge .Moreover, the two schools along with their seven teachers visited library. They visited different sections and library staff assisted them in the best possible manner. They had a great experience of visit- ing COMSATS. Overall, the educational trip proved to be so fruitful according to the teachers and students.     Pakistan-Iran-China Triangle: A Game Changer in the Region? Muhammad Salman Khan ∗ Abstract The interaction of states influenced by their bilateral ties and the multilateral organizations in the form of triangles presents an opportunity to understand some interesting dynamics of the current international politics. This interaction is often the result of the similar (if not a common) strategic culture and geopolitical realities. This study on Pakistan-Iran-China ties is an attempt to underscore the potentials of the formation of this triangle and its ramifications for international politics. The subject is elucidated in the context of the impending drawdown of US and NATO from Afghanistan, the role of Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) in the region with its impact on Pakistan-Iran-China relations, and the place of Pakistan and Iran in the Beijing’s “String of Pearls” strategy. In this triangle Pakistan’s longstanding rivalry with India and Iran’s protracted antagonism against US are the significant factors that bring Pakistan and Iran closer to Beijing.     Aymen Ijaz Pakistan-India Relations under Prime Minister Modi’s Government (2014-16) Aymen Ijaz Abstract Pakistan-India relations are central to peace and stability in South Asia. However, under Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi‟s government, bilateral relations have remained hostile. Despite efforts from Pakistan, Modi‟s brutal policies in Kashmir, extremist mindset and anti- Pakistan stance have derailed the prospects of dialogue and resumption of the peace process. The paper provides detailed analysis of Pak-India relations under Modi, covering political, security, economic and socio-cultural aspects. India‟s belligerent attitude has been explained in the light of Modi‟s rigid and hawkish personality and by elaborating the factors that impact bilateral relations. The study also sheds light on Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) between the two countries, and concludes by highlighting future prospects for this relationship. It has showcased a third peaceful transfer of power from one party-led government to another. It was also the fourth consecutive nationwide polling to elect members of the national assembly, the parliament, and the four provincial assemblies since 2002. The 2008 elections marked the beginning of the third transition to democracy; the earlier two were in 1972, and 1988, after the end of two military regimes. Leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) par ty Imran Khan has declared victory in this year’s general elections. By mid-August, newly-elected members of Pakistan’s National Assembly took oath in the inaugural session of the National Assembly in a historical development in the democratic process. During the session, Incoming Prime minister Imran Khan and other prominent political leaders, including PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari have sworn in. However, Pakistan’s new political era raises new questions. The underlying proposition of this paper is that democratic transitions are never a clear and clean disconnect with the authoritarian past, as stubborn legacies, institutional imbalances and older influences take time to fade off.
