n behalf of the entire team, I would like to welcome you to the 2015 Innovatix + Essensa National OMeeting & Expo. One of the things I like best about this meeting is the personal interaction, and I look forward to getting to speak with each of you this week.

Our conference is a wonderful forum in which to exchange new ideas, share best practices, and discuss the pressing issues that face our industries. It is also your opportunity to uncover new savings through the Innovatix and Essensa purchasing programs and learn about some of our newest offerings, such as Scriptmax™ (our new pharmacy claims analytics service) and our updated Innovatix Specialty Pharmacy Management (ISPM) and InnovatixCares population health management programs. I’m particularly proud of the range of our educational tracks and the caliber of our presenters. This year’s educational sessions offer unprecedented value to members, covering (among other topics) population health issues from both payer and health-system provider perspectives, how to safeguard electronic protected health information (ePHI), and a review of medication errors with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP). These sessions are being led by speakers who are counted among the foremost thought leaders in their industries.

We are also excited about unveiling the new member website at innovatix.com. The refreshed site contains a dedicated member resource section, event calendar, a link to a new self-service section, improved functionality, and a fresh new look.

I never fail to be amazed and gratified by the exceptional support our annual meeting receives from the supplier community. This year is no exception. The Exhibition Hall is expansive and diverse. I encourage members to spend a bit of time with our suppliers. It’s a great opportunity to explore their products and share some of the challenges you may be experiencing. Our meeting offers a great opportunity to get answers directly from the source. There might even be some fun photo ops in the Expo area.

I would also like to take a moment to thank you for your business and for taking time out of your hectic schedule to be with us this week. With your participation, I know this is going to be our best event to date.

The 2016 Innovatix + Essensa National Meeting and Expo returns to our hometown, New York City, from October 17–19. Please mark your calendar now.

Keep up the good work, and enjoy the conference.

These networks span the provider continuum, linking hospitals with non-acute providers in sharing responsibility for improving health and reducing costs within a defined population. Hospitals and physician practices are looking to partner with non-acute providers that deliver the best outcomes; non-acute providers that are not prepared for this shift risk network carve-outs, loss of patient volume, and reduced revenue streams. Innovatix- Cares is the nation’s first population health management network launched to help non-acute providers compete in the new shared-risk models. In this session, participants will learn about the InnovatixCares program, which ensures that providers are prepared to succeed in a popu- lation health environment.
