World AIDS Day marked with bake-off bonanza The Heartlands HIV team hosted a bake-off event on a big red bus parked at the hospital to mark World AIDS Day on 1 December.

With 425 people newly diagnosed with HIV in the West Midlands in the last year, the event was held to raise awareness of the importance of HIV testing. The team, along with HIV positive ambassadors, also gave out information, home HIV test kits, answered questions and distributed free red ribbons and condoms.
