ARCHIVAL SERVICES Lossless Tape Open (LTO) data tape has emerged as the new standard in media preservation. A single LTO cartridge can hold over 50 hours of uncompressed video and has an estimated shelf life of over 30 years.

LTO archive service begins at $400: which includes an LTO-6 data tape cartridge and upto 1-Terabyte (TB = 1,000 GB) of data migration. After the initial TB of data has been migrated, each additional Gigabyte transferred is $0.20/GB.

MEDIA DUPLICATION: DVD to DVD $ 7 per copy Blu-ray to Blu-ray $25 per copy

COMPILATIONS From tape sources: The cost of dubbing each title to Quicktime + $50 hourly editing fee. From digital file sources: A $100 setup fee + $50 hourly editing fee.

Vtape offers exhibition support for arts organizations through museum quality video exhibition equipment and low equipment rental prices. Equipment available for rent includes video projectors, special lenses for installation, flat screen monitors and DVD and video players. For bookings and price quote contact [email protected].

Conditions for rentals: All rentals require a VISA, AMEX or Mastercard for security. All rentals must be paid at time of pickup. Vtape accepts VISA, AMEX, Mastercard, cheque and cash payment. Pickup is between the hours of 1- 3pm and returns must be at noon. Late returns will result in additional charges. The renter is responsible for the safe return of the equipment and will sign a letter of agreement to that effect.
