On the Chinese side of Chinese-Russian-North Korean border, there is a region where North Korea, China and Russia meet is known as Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. The film tells a story of a man from here, who embarks on an assassination mission to South Korea in order to pay off his mounting debt. He is only given some money in advance and takes on the job without knowing much about his target.
