The Center encourages and facilitates the study of sociological, demographic, historical, legislative and pastoral aspects of human migration movements and ethnic group relations. The International Organization for Migration, established in 1951, is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners.
