Olympusat Hires Veteran Multichannel Video Executives To Push Latin American and US Distribution

May 22, 2012 – Boston, MA – Olympusat, Inc., the country’s market leader in the development and distribution of independent Hispanic, Specialty, and Faith & Family television networks, announced at the Cable Show today two new hires today to expand the company’s Latin American distribution. Francisco Sibauste has joined Olympusat as VP Distribution and Sales, and Nick Febrizio has joined the company as VP of Distribution and Sales U.S. “We are pleased to have Francisco Sibauste and Nick Febrizio join our team to address the demand that we are seeing for our content in particular among our Hispanic demographic in the US,” said Tom Mohler, President & CEO of Olympusat, Inc. “Combined, they have over 36 years of experience in the video and entertainment business in both the U.S. & Latin America. We believe that these two veteran multi- channel video executives will help us meet our ambitious goals for 2012 as we expand domestically and in Latin America.” Francisco Sibauste will be responsible for launching Olympusat Networks in Latin America. Prior to joining Olympusat he held senior sales, marketing and business development positions for basic and premium channels in Latin America including HTV, Bloomberg TV, MGM networks, Playboy, Locomotion, Infinito, and ¡Sorpresa¡ TV. He was part of the team that launched HTV in Latin America. He launched Bloomberg TV in Brazil and was responsible for sales and marketing of all Bloomberg media services in Latin America. Prior to this as VP of Affiliate Sales at MGM (initially Family Channel International) he launched their channels to over 500 cities throughout and Latin America. As VP of Affiliate for Cisneros Television Group, he was responsible for sales to Latin America, the US, Spain and Portugal. Nick Febrizio will be responsible for sales and distribution for Olympusat with numerous partners including Comcast, Time Warner and Cablevision. As a member of the AETN Distribution team, Nick was responsible for launching and distributing numerous television brands including A&E, History, BIO, H2, Crime & Investigation, Military History & History en Español as well as each brand’s respective HD channels and VOD components. Prior to joining Olympusat, Nick held long-term distribution sales and marketing consultant roles with WWE and most recently with Communications.
